Summertime Loving

Chapter 87: Chapter 86

Outside, Eve led Travis toward the garage. The cool evening air wrapped around them as they stepped into the space, and Travis couldn't help but look around, intrigued by everything.

"Umm, so you guys enter your apartment using the garage?" he asked, eyeing the well-organized space with a curious tilt of his head.

"Yeah, is that weird?" Eve asked, a hint of concern in her voice as she glanced at him.

"Nah, it's fuckin' awesome," he said, grinning. "Got me feeling like some kind of spy or something."

Eve smiled brightly, clearly relieved. Good, she thought. I thought he'd find our place weird.

Travis walked over to a sleek motorcycle parked near the wall, inspecting it with admiration. "Who's motorcycle is this?" he asked, running his hand along its shiny frame.

"It's my sister's," Eve answered, walking over to join him. "It's currently being fixed, though it still works."

"Nice," Travis said, giving the bike one last appreciative glance. "I want something like this one day." He turned back to her, his eyes sparkling. "Well, let's see the apartment. I can't wait to see your room."

Eve nodded, climbing up a nearby ladder to a loft area. Travis, without thinking, glanced at her as she ascended, getting a full view of her ass.

' I'm a pervert, he thought to himself with a smirk. And I genuinely don't care. '

They climbed up the ladder to the loft area, and Travis took a moment to look around. From this vantage point, he could see the school in the distance, but the view wasn't exactly breathtaking. He quickly turned his attention back to Eve and followed her inside the apartment.

As soon as he stepped into the room, he was greeted by the soothing scent of candles. His eyes lit up as he took a deep breath, the soft aroma of lavender and vanilla calming his senses almost immediately.

"This is calming," he said, a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips as he glanced around. The room was warm and inviting, with soft lighting and cozy furniture.

It had a personal touch, something that made it feel like home, and Travis couldn't help but think that he wouldn't mind moving in here himself.

Eve laughed lightly, looking around as well. "Really? I guess I got too used to it, but you're not wrong," she said, her voice a little quieter now, as if she was seeing her own space through his eyes.

Travis walked around the room, taking in every detail. As he passed the bed, he stopped and raised an eyebrow.

"So, who sleeps here on this bed?" he asked, curiosity lacing his voice as he scanned the comfortable-looking space.

"Oh, that's where Grace sleeps," Eve replied, her voice matter-of-fact. "Funny how she gave me the room all to myself, even though the apartment only has one room."

"For real?" Travis replied, glancing back at her. "You'd expect her to sleep there, since she's older."

"Yeah, but she doesn't," Eve said with a shrug. "She said she wanted me to have my own space to think and have my own privacy. Funny, she pays the rent and everything, but she still thinks of me first. One of the reasons why I admire her."

Travis nodded thoughtfully. "Yeah, she's cool," he said, his tone softening. "So, where's this room you're talking about?"

Eve pointed toward a door on the other side of the room. Travis saw it and moved forward, turning the handle to open it.

He stepped inside, and his eyes widened as he took in the room. It was dimly lit, but the walls were covered in posters of bands and artists, with a giant rainbow cat banner hanging above her bed. A gaming setup occupied one corner, complete with a large TV and a console. Her bed was positioned right on the floor, creating a relaxed, almost bohemian vibe to the space.

Man, this is a great room honestly, he thought, impressed by how well she had made it her own.

Eve slipped in behind him, watching his reaction with a small smile. "What do you think?" she asked, her tone laced with a hint of nervousness, though she tried to hide it.

Travis looked around before his eyes landed on one of the items on the shelf. "It's pretty cool," he said, then spotted something on the floor. "Wait, is that Street Fighter?" He bent down and picked up the disc, grinning as he held it up for her to see.

"Yeah, I play that pretty often," she replied with a laugh. "Wanna play?"

"Fuck yeah," Travis said enthusiastically, his grin widening. "But don't be sad when I beat you senseless," he teased, giving her a playful wink.

Eve chuckled, rolling her eyes. "We'll see about that." She picked up the controller, already looking forward to the challenge.

The two continued to play, Travis taking an early lead. He opened the game with a strong performance, earning a few quick wins. Eve, though initially caught off guard, quickly adapted to his style, losing five rounds in a row before she started to get the hang of it. But once she'd figured out his moves, Travis switched things up, once again dominating the game.

They played for about an hour, sharing laughs and teasing each other as their friendly rivalry continued. With each match, the tension seemed to melt away, replaced by a shared sense of fun and camaraderie. After a while, they both put down their controllers, their hands a little sore but satisfied from the game.

"Man, you really surprised everyone today," Eve said, wiping a few stray beads of sweat from her forehead as she leaned back against the wall. "Who the hell has the balls to change right in front of everyone? Especially as a guy. I kinda began respecting you, not gonna lie."

Travis raised an eyebrow, his lips curling into a playful smirk. "Oh, so you never respected me before? Wow."

Eve immediately looked away, her face flushed. "I never said that," she muttered, clearly flustered. Travis chuckled, enjoying the effect he had on her.

"Did you enjoy the view?" he asked, his voice teasing but full of curiosity.

"What view?" Eve asked, her expression feigning innocence.

"Come on, you know. Don't make me say it," he said, a sly grin on his face as he leaned in slightly.

Eve's face turned bright red. "I don't know what you're talking about," she stammered, clearly embarrassed.

' I honestly did, ' Eve thought to herself, ' I have fap fuel for the next three days. '

Travis could see she was avoiding the subject, so he relented. "Fine, I won't say anything more," he said with a shrug, but just as he was about to change the subject, his phone vibrated in his pocket. He pulled it out and saw a message from Debbie. His eyes flicked to the clock on the wall, and a small sigh escaped him.

"Fuck, I gotta go now. My mom's calling," he said, standing up and stretching.

Eve looked up, surprised by how much time had passed. "Oh, has that much time gone by already? Well, I had fun with you, Travis," she said with a smile.

"Yeah, me too," Travis replied, picking up his jacket and sliding it on. "Maybe next time we won't be clothed," he said, the words slipping out before he could stop himself.

Eve's face turned an even deeper shade of red. "Shut up," she mumbled, trying to hide her embarrassment as she turned her eyes toward the floor.

Travis smiled, enjoying her reaction. He walked over and pulled her into a quick hug, his voice soft as he spoke. "I'm joking. See you then, Eve."

He headed toward the door, but before he could step out, he caught sight of someone coming up the ladder—another girl, this one with a striking goth appearance. She was dressed in dark clothes, her makeup dramatic and sharp.

' Time to charm her up', Travis thought with a confident grin, preparing himself for the new challenge.
