⁂ 𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐘- 7:42am.

'BRRRNG!'

The school's electronic bell rung audibly around the hallways, signifying the start of lessons.

In Luxe High school, Computer based test on different subjects are carried out every Friday. The school wasn't for the faint hearted or Lazy students.

The least score any student can get in a test or exam is 70%. The students were very competitive and retaining the top spot requires extra studying.

The students briskly moved into their classes, they opened the laptops and inserted their details correctly.

"Good morning students" Miss Wong greeted.

"Good morning, Miss Wong" The students echoed.

"The test you're about to write now is very comprehensive with 60 questions each and approximately 40 minutes to answer each subject. So utilize your time properly and Cross-check your works before submitting. Good Luck!" Miss Wong said and continued moving around.

"You may start!" She announced after ensuring that everyone had inserted their details correctly.

Shortly, the sounds of students typing away on their laptops and the gentle scratches of pencil against paper- Solving of equations, filled the air.

In less than 2 hours, they were done. They quietly exited the hall.

Their results were to be posted on the school's notice board during break.

➳ 𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐎𝐑 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒.

Lily squatted outside the class, waiting for Lucas to finish up his test. She clearly understood why Lucas would last longer in the hall. Besides, he was in a higher class.

Lucas walked out of the hall; He wasn't surprised to see Lily waiting there in a squatting position. Infact, it was her weekly routine.

"Get up! Cutie" Lucas said, pulling her to her feet.

"How's your test?" Lily asked with a smile.

"It was better than I imagined" Lucas said confidently.

"Oh! Wow!" Lily giggled.

"I just hope I'll get a higher percentage this time" Lily said with a sigh.

"C'mon, you're literally at the top of your class and score 98% in most of your subjects, what more would you want?" Lucas asked with a smirk.

"A 100%" She giggled.

"First person to get to the Froyo shop will pay the bills" Lily said as Lucas took off.

"C'mon, why ain't you running?" Lucas asked.

"I'm behind you" Lily said whilst chuckling. Lucas shrugged as he ran off to the Froyo shop.

➳ 𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐘𝐎 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐏.

Lucas got there, Lily was only jogging till she got to where he stood.

"Why didn't you try to run ahead of me?" Lucas asked in a daze.

"Because I said First person to get to the Froyo shop will pay the bills" Lily said clearly.

"First person? Fuck!" Lucas cursed audibly.

"Which flavour do you want?" He asked.

"Chocolate Flavour with strawberry filling" Lily said as he ordered.

Lily was a foodie; if there's anything she doesn't joke with, it's food.

Lucas placed their orders he turned around but Lily was nowhere in sight.

"Lily?!" Lucas called out.

➳ 𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐎𝐑 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒.

Lily moved into the senior class, in search of Reed, she needed to return his book to him.

*Who is she?*

*She's so cute*

*She hangs out with Lucas*

*It's Lily, Lucas' best friend*

*Who's she in search of?*

"Cutie, Who are you looking for?" Ava asked.

Ava knew that Lily could help her get closer to Lucas and being nice to Lily was her ticket to winning her over.

"Senior Ava, Do you perhaps know where Senior Reed is?" Lily asked cutely.

"Oh! He's in his Private Class, I'll take you there" Ava offered to help.

"Okay, let's go" Lily said as they left the class.

➳ 𝐇𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐖𝐀𝐘.

"So what are Lucas' likes and dislikes?" Ava asked.

"Oh! He loves vanilla ice cream, being around lively people, prefers strawberry cakes. He hates being around boring people, Lemonades - Just an allergy to Lemons, and... Hold up! Why have you been asking these personal questions?" Lily asked curiously.

"Uh! I- It's just..." Ava stuttered, biting her lips nervously.

"You like him, don't you?" Lily pointed out.

"Is it that obvious?" Ava asked as Lily nodded affirmatively.

"My advice for you is to stay away from him. If possible, murder those feelings cause he's not really interested in serious relationships" Lily said with a creepy voice.

"Huh?" Ava said with a puzzled look.

"Just kidding! Good luck with winning him over, Fighting!" Lily chuckled.

"Phew!" Ava breath inwardly.

"We're here, I'll leave now" Ava said and walked away.

➳ 𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐃'𝐒 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒

Lily gulped hard as she nervously knock on the door. She got no response from inside; she slowly opened the door as she peeked in.

Someone grabbed her hand and pulled her fully into the room. The person placed her on the wall as his hands trapped her on the wall.

She looked up and their gazes locked.

"Reed, I- I came here to give youd this" Lily stuttered with a shaky voice.

He looked down at her hand and saw the book she was holding. He'd forgotten it at her house the previous day.

His gaze shifted back to her face but it fell on her lips instead. He tilted her jaw with his fingers as her breath hitched.

He leaned closer to her, whilst his hands sliding down to take hold of his book from her hand.

"Thanks for bringing this back" He said bluntly and pulled away from her.

"Oh! Oh! Yeah" Lily said, drifting back into reality.

Reed sat down on the swivel chair, facing her.

"How's your test today?" He asked, whilst crossing his legs.

"It was good, Senior" Lily said, facing him.

"You can call me Reed" Reed corrected.

"What?..." Lily blinked.

"Call me Reed" Reed said blankly.

"Oh!" Lily mouthed.

"Reed" She said softly as she smiled.

"The test results are out! Check your scores everyone!!" A student announced audibly in the hall way.

Students ran through the hall way to check their scores on the notice board.

"Reed, the results are out! Won't you check yours?" Lily asked.

"I'm not in a haste to check, you can go if you want to" Reed said with a slight smile.

Lily didn't think twice before running out the class, she was anxious to see her scores.

Students gathered around the notice board; The percentage were ranked according to their scores.

Junior Class scores were ranked:

Lily Lee: Chemistry (98%), English (100%), Maths (99%), Biology (100%), Foreign Language (96%) – Top scorer.

Eva Choi: Arts and crafts (98%), English (91%), Maths (96%), Music (99%), Foreign Language (94%) – Second position.

Sofie Petals: Chemistry (96%), English (89%), Maths (94%), Biology (97%), Foreign Language (92%) – Third position.

Other students' scores followed below.

Senior Class scores were ranked:

Reed Park: Chemistry (100%), English (100%), Maths (100%), Biology (100%), Foreign Language (100%) – Top scorer.

Lucas Kyung: Chemistry (99%), English (99%), Maths (98%), Biology (100%), Foreign Language (99%) – Second position.

Ava Morales: Arts and crafts (97%), English (96%), Maths (95%), Biology (98%), Foreign Language (97%) – Third position.

Danielle Kim: English (94%), Maths (93%), Biology (96%), Foreign Language (95%), Music (99%) – Fourth position.

Other students' scores followed suit.

*KYAAA! Reed topped the class again with 500 points*

*Lily also topped her class again*

"Lily, you really improved this time" Eva pointed out.

"Tell me, what's the secret behind it?" Sofie grinned.

"I have home lessons" Lily said with a smile.

"Wow! Who's your tutor?" Eva asked.

"It's..." Lily was still saying when Reed walked out of his private class.

Her gaze met his and she paused in her tracks as she watched him. His hands were tucked in his pockets, his damp hair poured on his face, giving him a hot look.

He winked at her seductively, whilst walking past her. Lily's heart skipped two beats when he did that.

'Breathe Lily! Breathe' Her mind cautioned.

"Yaa! (Hey!), Did Reed just wink at you?" Sofie asked with widened eyes.

"I guess I wasn't the only who saw that" Lily breath.

"What's going on between both of you?" Eva questioned.

"Nothing... it's nothing" Lily said almost immediately.

"Oooh! Lily's got a crush on Reed" Sofie and Eva echoed out playfully.

"Does he know about your feelings?" Sofie asked.

"No! I mean, I don't like him in that way" Lily defended, whilst blushing hard and running off.

"Kyaaa! She really likes him" Sofie half yelled as they ran after her.

*He's here*

*Reed aced all his subjects again*

Reed quietly stood there as he checked his scores, his eyes trailed upwards to Lily's results. He smiled lightly when he saw her scores.

He placed his head phone on his ears and quietly walked away.

*Did Senior Reed just smile right now?*

*He should really smile more often*

*I took a picture of him smiling just now*

"You obsessed bitch! He's mine" A Junior yelled as other girls tried to take a peek of the picture.

'They're crazy!' Reed thought with a smirk as he entered his private class.

➳ 𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐎𝐑 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒.

"You didn't go to check your result?!" Tristan, One of Lucas' friends asked.

"What difference does it make any way? He'd still ace as usual" Lucas said referring to Reed.

"Where's Lily?" Ethan asked.

"Why are you asking? Get rid of any strange thoughts you have about her cause it won't work" Lucas snapped.

"Chill Bro! It was just a harmless question" Tristan said as Lucas glared at him. He clearly knew that Lucas doesn't mess with Lily.

Lucas' mind drifted back to what happened earlier. He was searching for her....

⁂ 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐫...

"Lily?!" Lucas called out.

"Apologies ma'am, I won't be buying these anymore" Lucas said politely and left.

He roamed around the hallways in search of Lily but couldn't find her and finally, he spotted her in front of Reed's private class.

'What could she possibly be doing there?' He thought.

He was about moving to her, but someone opened the door and pulled her in almost immediately. It was Reed.

⁂ 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞...

'Why would she still meet him after I clearly told her to stay away from him? Ugh!' Lucas thought.

"Bro!" Tristan called out repeatedly.

"Lucas" Ethan tapped him.

"Where were you lost?" Tristan asked with a questioning look.

"Huh? What were you saying?" Lucas asked, drifting back into reality.

"The school's Divas, Ava and Danielle are hosting a pool party at their mansion, everyone's invited" Tristan announced.

"You can go without me, I'm not interested" Lucas blurted.

"Lily will be there!" Ethan stated.

"What! I'm definitely going" Lucas said and walked out of the class.

Ethan and Tristan gave themselves a high five. They knew that that was the only way to bring Lucas along.

➳ 𝐊𝐘𝐔𝐍𝐆 𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍- 6:13pm.

Lucas walked in tiredly; he moved straight to the kitchen and found his mom cooking. The sweet aroma of the food hit his nostril as he salivated.

"Eomma- (Mom)" Lucas called out as he hugged her from behind, slowly inhaling her sweet scent.

"My sweet baby!" Mrs Lila Kyung cooed, turning around to hug him.

"How's school today?" She asked.

"Not so good!" Lucas said.

"Why?" She questioned.

"I warned Lily to stay away from Reed but she wouldn't listen" Lucas blurted.

"I don't want history to repeat itself" Lucas said with sad eyes.

"You still haven't gotten over pearl, have you?" Mrs Lila asked.

"No! Mum. Our memories keeps haunting me" Lucas blurted as he felt a sharp pain in his head.

"Aargh!" He held onto his head tightly.

"Don't stress it, Lucas" Mrs Lila said with concern.

"I'll be upstairs, in my room" He said and moved up to his room.

➳ 𝐋𝐔𝐂𝐀𝐒' 𝐑𝐎𝐎𝐌.

His head throbbed harder, it became unbearable that he ended up scattering his room. He moved into the bathroom, still in his uniform.

Lucas turned on the shower as the water soaked his clothes and body.

"Aargh!!! Pearl! Why did you have leave me?" Lucas asked as he repeatedly punched the tiled wall till his knuckles bled.

Blood oozed out profusely as he cried. His back came in contact with the wall and he slided downwards, sitting on the floor.

"Pearl! Come back to me... Please" Lucas muttered.

Her soft giggles echoed in his head; he recalled their moments together.

"Be my girlfriend, Pearl" Lucas requested.

"Lucas, I'll think about it!" Pearl said. Those were her last words to him.

He had been nurturing these pains for four years. It felt like the wound only got fresher by the day.

➳ 𝐋𝐄𝐄 𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍.

⁂ 𝐋𝐢𝐥𝐲'𝐬 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦...

Lily walked into her room, drying her hair with her towel, another was wrapped around her chest.

Her phone rang, she picked it up from the table to check the caller's ID. It was a video call from Lucas.

She picked the call and stood her phone on the table so that he could see her. She picked up her blow dryer and turned it on.

"Annyeong-haseyo (Hello), Lulu" Lily waved cutely.

"Hi cutie" He smiled.

Lily began blow drying her hair as she danced crazily.

"What the fuck are you doing?!" Lucas asked, whilst chuckling.

"Dancing, what else?" Lily asked and paused.

"You call that dancing? That looked like a chicken having a spasm attack" Lucas laughed hard.

Lily picked her phone from the table to get a clearer view of his face.

"Your eyes are red and puffy, are you okay?" Lily asked after careful observations.

"I'm fine, just sleepy" Lucas said.

"Are you sure?" Lily asked for confirmation.

"Mn!" He simply nodded.

"I heard you're attending Ava's party" Lucas asked, changing the topic.

"Yea! Are you going too?" Lily asked.

"Of course" Lucas nodded affirmatively.

"C'mon, help me to pick a bikini to wear for the party" Lily said placing her phone back on the table and moving off screen.

"Lily, You ain't a kid anymore. Pick your clothes yourself" Lucas said, he saw that Lily had gone off screen.

'Gosh! Don't tell me she's...' Lucas' thought was cut short when Lily stood in front of him claded in her first bikini option.

His eyes wandered around her hot body. The bikini had a scarf which she tied around her waist. Lily turned around, flaunting the bikini.

"How's it?" Lily asked as Lucas' breath hitched.

"It's Good!" Lucas smiled. Deep down, he knew that she had woken up something in him that had been asleep for years.

Lily tried other bikinis and each one looked sexier than the last.

Lucas looked down at his shorts, he noticed the huge bulge down there.

"Fuck!" He cut the call and ran into the bathroom, leaving Lily puzzled.
