Chapter 355 Strange Fruit
"A seventh tier spirit Imperial master, quite impressive. I wonder which family this prodigy belongs to. At such a young age, to possess such strength, he can already be compared to the likes of Zon Gengshi and Fin Shan," mused the girl in red, her delicate fingers resting on her lips as she watched Blaze Regret with a flicker of interest in her eyes.
If others heard this, it would undoubtedly cause a stir. Zon Gengshi and Fin Shan were prominent figures in Snow Storm City, and as long as they didn't fall, they were certain to have a place on the future list of spirit king experts in the Sun Moon Empire. Yet this young man could be compared to them?
After a brief contemplation, Blaze Regret took out all the void realms stones from his waist and placed everything on his stall, except for a few items he was reluctant to trade. These items no longer held any value for him in his current state.
As each item was displayed, the eyes of the surrounding vendors widened, their expressions turning increasingly astonished.
"First grade pill formula, third grade spiritual medicine, and so many spiritual items... My gosh, where on earth did this lad come from?"
Astonished gazes congregated on Blaze Regret's stall, the peculiar and rare items leaving many in a state of disbelief.
Upon inspecting their own stalls, the vendors flushed with embarrassment; compared to Blaze Regret's offerings, their goods seemed like trash.
"This pill, forty thousand gold coins."
With the first item successfully traded, Blaze Regret found subsequent transactions much easier. For many, the items on his stall were valuable treasures, so within just half an hour, over half of his items had been successfully traded.
As Blaze Regret reached out to retrieve a scattered spiritual fruit back to the center of his stall, a faint, delicate fragrance wafted over. His gaze lifted slightly, and a pair of long, shapely legs came into view. The perfect curves momentarily caught even his composed temperament off guard.
"May I help you with something?" he inquired.
Blaze Regret lifted his face, a gentle smile playing at the corners of his mouth.
Before him stood a young woman dressed in an exquisite red outfit. Her slender figure was such that it might easily provoke certain imaginations. Most striking of all, however, was the intricate red lotus mark at the center of her forehead. This vivid red lotus accentuated her fair and innocent face, subtly imbuing it with an enchanting allure.
It was Blaze Regret's first time encountering a woman who could seamlessly blend two contrasting qualities, which momentarily left him slightly dazed. As for the surrounding passersby and vendors, their gazes were already fixed on the young woman's stunning face.
The young woman was slightly surprised to see Blaze Regret regain his composure so quickly. Some of the empire's elites would love nothing more than to gaze at her indefinitely, yet this man seemed entirely unmoved.
"I'm quite interested in this piece of black clay," the young woman remarked.
Her delicate finger pointed lightly at the black flame clay beside Blaze Regret's hand. A faint, almost imperceptible heat emanated from it, causing the surrounding air to appear somewhat distorted.
"Five thousand gold coins," Blaze Regret replied, slightly raising his brow as he named a price that wasn't particularly high. If he were to refine the black flame clay himself, it would require materials costing around a thousand gold coins. Selling it, however, could instantly increase its value several times over, which is why alchemists were often considered to have one of the most lucrative professions on the continent.
"I want its refining method," the girl in red said, resting her chin on her hand and looking at Blaze Regret with an expectant expression. Her seemingly pitiable demeanor was something few men could resist, especially a young man like Blaze Regret, full of youthful vigor.
"No sale," Blaze Regret responded without a moment's hesitation, his answer crisp and definitive.
Hearing this unyielding refusal, the young woman was taken aback, momentarily losing her composure. She had, quite unexpectedly, been turned down.
As Blaze Regret's straightforward response echoed, the faces of the surrounding crowd twitched slightly. Were it not for Lin Dan's recent example, they might have immediately gathered around to give Blaze Regret a beating.
Ignoring the sentiments of such a beauty, he certainly lacked appreciation for it!
Facing the young woman before him, who was pouting and looking aggrieved, Blaze Regret only shrugged innocently. The formula for the black flame clay was too precious. Used correctly, it could yield a substantial return. After all, such a formula capable of aiding the growth of fire elemental spiritual beasts had yet to appear anywhere else in the Sun Moon Empire.
Lightly biting her lip, the girl stared intently at Blaze Regret, who met her gaze without fear. After a moment, she finally sighed softly, admitting defeat.
"I really wonder if you're even a man," she muttered in a huff. Her hand brushed over a void realm stone, revealing a fruit shaped like a fire Cat in her soft palm. "Otherwise, how about I trade this with you?" Find your next read on empire
As his gaze swept over it, Blaze Regret's dark eyes suddenly lit up with interest.
A strangely shaped red fruit lay quietly in the delicate palm of the young girl, emanating a fiery aura that caused the sleeping Red to suddenly open its eyes wide.
"This fruit was originally just an ordinary Blazing Flame Fruit. However, a few days ago, a Three Tailed Red Cat perished beneath its tree, and all its essence was absorbed by the spirit tree. This caused the Blazing Flame Fruit to mutate. I believe that once your fire Cat refines it, the effect will far surpass that of other fire type spiritual beasts."
The girl in red looked at the fruit in her palm with a hint of reluctance.
For her, this mutated Blazing Flame Fruit, although beneficial, seemed less important compared to the recipe for Black Flame Mud. After all, there was only one fruit, whereas Black Flame Mud could be endlessly refined.
