Strongest Soldier King

Chapter 1085: Defeating the Powerful Enemy

When the coalition's combat force of fewer than fifty men gathers, it might still possess a fearsome combat capability. However, once they scatter in disarray and fight as individuals, their combat strength diminishes drastically. The Hook Tribe's Armed forces excel in opportunistic battles rather than disadvantageous ones, charging forward with fervent shouts, sprinting through the forest at impressive speed.

"Surrender and you'll be spared!" Luo Zheng saw the coalition scatter like wild animals, and the Hook Tribe's Armed forces, rabid with bloodlust, chased them down. He shouted in delight, "Everyone shout with me, surrender and you'll be spared."

The Hook Tribe's Armed forces were thrown into chaos, making it impossible to command them. If they were to find officers and relay orders, it would be too late. Luo Zheng instructed his men to shout instead, not for the Hook Tribe's Armed forces who couldn't understand, but for the coalition. Zhou Gang and others mingled in the crowd, clearly hearing the calls and quickly shouting, while searching for officers to give orders.

The coalition dispersed and attempted to break through, their morale collapsing. Despite their strong individual combat skills, they were helpless in the face of a crumbling defeat, fleeing madly down the mountain. The Hook Tribe's Armed forces pursued fiercely, but Luo Zheng did not chase. Instead, he led Mountain Eagle and Ghost Hand up towards the cave on the mountaintop quickly to prevent the enemy from exploiting the chaos, knowing the defense there was weak, and the crucial activation device was located there.

Soon, Luo Zheng and his team spotted two figures dashing towards the cave, shirtless, with burlap wrapped around their waists and barefoot. They resembled the members of the Hook Tribe's Armed forces, yet wielded sniper rifles the tribe couldn't use, and were tall and robust.

By this time, everyone was chasing the coalition downhill, so who would be heading up to the cave? Luo Zheng's expression changed drastically. He swiftly aimed his gun while running and fired, shouting, "Mountain Eagle, Ghost Hand, they're enemies. Alternate fire, charge up and take them down."

"Understood." Ghost Hand and Mountain Eagle's expressions changed sharply. They quickly took aim, rushing forward. Seeing the two targets suppressed by Luo Zheng's fire hide, they didn't fire but instead counted Luo Zheng's gunshots as they charged. Once Luo Zheng's bullets ran out, they quickly opened fire to suppress the enemy.

Luo Zheng changed magazines while running, counting Mountain Eagle and Ghost Hand's shots as he sprinted two hundred meters forward. After estimating their bullets were spent, he continued firing to suppress the enemy. The three men advanced alternately, keeping the suspicious targets pinned down.

The two suspicious targets saw two armed men with sniper rifles emerge from the cave and realized all hope was lost. They decisively retreated quickly.

"Trying to run? Take them down," Luo Zheng shouted angrily, continuing to fire as he surged forward ten meters. With a clear angle, the bullets precisely hunted down the targets.

One target agilely rolled but couldn't evade the subsequent bullets from Luo Zheng. Mountain Eagle and Ghost Hand flanked from different angles, surrounding the two between several large trees, the trio forming a triangle with no dead angles for shooting.

"Don't shoot, we surrender." One shouted, carrying unwillingness and coldness.

Luo Zheng smirked upon hearing the voice, confirming it was the enemy. He barked, "Throw out your weapons, and you'll be spared. Two seconds to decide."

Two sniper rifles were tossed out, followed by pistols and military daggers. The three treated it as a serious threat, coldly watching as two people walked out from between the trees, exuding a violent and chilling aura. Luo Zheng, shocked, fired without hesitation.

"Bang bang bang!" Several bullets struck, knocking the two to the ground, each shot hitting their legs.

The two glared at Luo Zheng with resentment, to which Luo Zheng sneered dismissively, "You're from the Snow Bear Special Forces, aren't you? Who doesn't know the Snow Bear Special Forces would rather die than surrender? Dream on if you think you can fool us. Tie them up."

"Yes." Ghost Hand and Mountain Eagle exclaimed excitedly, each grabbing one and cautiously pouncing.

The two, hit in the thighs and disarmed, had limited resistance. After struggling a bit, they were subdued by Ghost Hand and Mountain Eagle, dislocating both arms, rendering them completely powerless. Luo Zheng watched them coldly and sneered, "Disguising yourselves as tribal armed forces to evade pursuit, only to launch a sneak attack. Quite skilled, I must say, not giving up even now. As soldiers, I admire you. As foes, your end is near."

"Bring it on if you dare." One sturdy man roared angrily, yet with his arms dislocated and losing blood from his legs, his body was too weak to fight back.

"Bandage them well; these are valuable pigs, worth a lot of money. Hook will be thrilled to see these two." Luo Zheng said coldly, running quickly towards the cave.

At the cave entrance, two warriors were guarding. Seeing Luo Zheng approach, they sighed in relief, emerging from behind rocks. Their injuries hadn't healed, and their bodies were still weak. The earlier movement made cold sweat bead on their foreheads. Luo Zheng, touched, said, "Well done. Without your appearance, the enemy wouldn't have retreated. Are you okay?"

"We're fine, has the battle ended?" One asked in surprise.

Seeing it was Zhang Fan, Luo Zheng calmly nodded, "It's fine now, the coalition has collapsed, fleeing in panic. We're chasing them down. We need to hold this place in case someone sneaks up for an ambush. Anyone who can still move should pick up their weapons."

"Understood." Everyone picked up their weapons and chambered a round, their expressions resolute. As soldiers, not participating in the recent battle was already regrettable enough; they certainly wouldn't abandon this crucial position, even if it meant death.

Luo Zheng grabbed several magazines lying nearby, tucked them at his waist, and went to the cave entrance. Seeing Ghost Hand and Mountain Eagle bringing over two enemies, he said, "Throw them over there and keep a close watch. Tie them up well. These guys aren't simple; don't give them any chance."

"All right," Ghost Hand signaled Mountain Eagle to watch, then rushed into the cave. Seeing the injured brothers holding weapons, he was startled and quickly shouted, "Don't shoot randomly, it's me."

"We see you, we won't go off, hehe!" Everyone laughed awkwardly.

Ghost Hand grabbed some ropes from a pile of equipment and supplies, dashed back to the cave entrance, and bound the two enemies tightly before sighing in relief, "I wonder how the captain is doing?" Although Lan Xue changed the call sign and rank, Ghost Hand still habitually called Lan Xue captain.

"Bastard, kill us if you dare. Wait for revenge, hahaha!" At this moment, an enemy suddenly roared, laughing coldly with no hint of panic.

"Courting death." Ghost Hand angrily kicked him to the ground.

Luo Zheng gave the fallen enemy a cold look, snorted, and asked through the earpiece, "Xue Er, what's your situation over there?"
