Chapter 04
Chapter 4: Streamer Battle (1) – Knights of Honor
The tournament was happening this weekend, which meant it was just two days away. Since today was already evening, there was only one full day left to practice. With such little time, proper preparation was a must.
The first thing Hyunseong did was check the current situation.
“Our team name is ‘Saho Choga.’ We made it by taking one letter from each member’s name,” one of the teammates explained.
Everyone had matching badges. They weren’t top-tier, but they were strong enough to put up a good fight. They had practiced a lot, so honestly, there was some hope for solid performance.
Well… that was the story up until now.
Choran, who had red hair in-game, shook her head in frustration.
“There was supposed to be another person on the team. But suddenly, they disappeared. Just like that.”
“Um… Choran, I think that’s enough explanation,” someone interrupted.
“No, I just thought Mars should know. Especially since that missing person switched to another team. And now, our team’s goal is revenge. Right?”
[LOL, she just said everything]
[Since we’re talking, let’s spill it all—guess who originally formed this team?]
[They ditched us the moment a big team wanted them. Ran away immediately.]
“Choran, stop. Everyone, that’s enough,” Hyunseong said.
Even after Choran fell silent, the mood remained heavy.
“Sorry, Mars. This isn’t the kind of team atmosphere we wanted to show you.”
“It’s okay. I understand the situation now,” Mars replied, lowering his head slightly. He seemed disappointed.
It was already bad enough that they lost a teammate at the last minute. But on top of that, the remaining members were feeling down.
Even though Mars aimed to become a big streamer with 1 million subscribers in the future, right now, he was still just a beginner. It wasn’t easy to handle situations like this during a livestream.
Especially Choran—she was speaking recklessly. No matter what, badmouthing other streamers was a huge rule-breaker. It might not seem like a big deal now, but if this got mentioned in a future collab, things could get messy.
Still, the frustration was understandable. Even Hyunseong, who had just heard about it, felt, Wow, this is seriously unfair.
[Can we just say their name? If it’s allowed, let’s expose them and roast them.]
[Nah, don’t curse, but please, someone teach that jerk a lesson.]
The chat was going crazy. Viewers in Hyunseong’s chat were also fuming over the betrayal.
“Alright, I get it. But let’s not talk about this anymore. Instead, let’s focus on proving ourselves through our gameplay. First, let’s change our team name.”
“You’re removing the ‘Sa’ part, right? Just like how in group projects, the person who does nothing gets their name erased?”
[LOL, true]
[Finally, some justice]
[Rename time!]
The chat agreed instantly. Even the team members nodded.
“Okay! What should the new name be?”
“Mahochoga?”
“Something more fun would be nice.”
“Sarail Sheep?”
“That might break the tournament rules…”
“That might break the tournament rules…”
[LMAO, imagine the officials’ reaction]
[That name is wild hahaha]
[Too funny]
“What do you think, Mars?”
“Hochutgaku? Inspired by Ho, O, Ga, and Ru from our names.”
“Hmm…”
“Oh! Hochutgaru sounds great! I love it!”
“Me too. It feels like a name we can flex with.”
And just like that, their new team name was decided: Hochutgaru.
They continued discussing their main weapons and roles. After setting up their practice schedule, they were about to log off when—
“Wait! There’s a new announcement for Knights of Honor! They updated the content!”
“A content update? Out of nowhere?”
“They even released a trailer. A viewer sent me the link—I’ll share it!”
The video was titled “The Last Stand of the Royal Knight Commander.”
A grin spread across Hyunseong’s face.
“It’s finally here.”
[Oooooh!!]
[Let’s watch!!]
With both team and viewers hyped, Hyunseong clicked play. The screen lit up, showing a scene from the game—but this time, it was edited into a cinematic masterpiece.

The battle took place at Zumiro Castle, one of the key battlegrounds in Knights of Honor.
On one side, clad in heavy black armor, stood the castle’s defenders. In front of them, their commander stepped forward.
From beneath an ornate helmet, a woman’s face was revealed.
“Do not fear! We fight to our last breath!” her voice rang out. “For His Highness, the rightful Third Prince!”
“For the Third Prince!!” the soldiers echoed.
The video confirmed her title—Royal Knight Commander.
As soon as her battle cry ended, both armies charged at each other in a final, desperate clash.
“AAAAHHH!”
“FOR HONOR!”
Swords clashed. Spears struck. Blood spilled. The intensity of the battle was overwhelming.
But then—something changed.
In the shadows, five figures in black armor crept toward the castle’s back gate.
The first to notice was a lone guard.
“H-Hey, who’s—UGH!!”
Before he could finish, he was silenced by a blade through his throat.
The intruders slaughtered the gate guards.
“Commander! Bad news! The enemy is attacking the back gate!!”
A single surviving soldier stumbled into the room, bloodied and barely standing.
But before reinforcements could arrive—
CRASH!
The wooden gates shattered.
Five knights in black armor stormed in, cutting down the defending soldiers one by one.
“This… This can’t be happening! I must fight as well!”
A lieutenant standing near the commander grabbed his sword, his face pale with fear. He stepped forward, ready to join the battle. But he never stood a chance.
The enemy leader—a knight clad in blue armor—was too strong.
And then, the duel began.
A fierce one-on-one battle between the Royal Knight Commander and the Blue Knight.
Their swords clashed with breathtaking speed. But in the end—
The Black Knight won.
The commander fell to her knees.
“I… I’m sorry, Your Highness…”
Her head fell forward. And then—
Slash.
Her head hit the ground.
The screen faded to black.
Then, a deep, ominous laugh echoed in the darkness.
“It is time, Your Highness the First Prince. Let us end this once and for all.”
New Battlefield – The Bloodbath of Messeri
[Background]
After the Royal Knight Commander’s death at Zumiro Castle, the Third Prince spent years gathering strength.
Then, finally—a letter arrived at the First Prince’s camp.
A challenge.
A final battle for the throne.
A duel at Messeri, where they once spent their childhood together.
The First Prince accepted.

Three Phases
Available to play NOW!
The chat exploded.
[WTF A NEW UPDATE??]
[They dropped this out of nowhere lol]
[Wait, this game has a STORY???]
[I thought it was just mindless PVP, but DAMN]
[If they keep this up, it’ll be amazing]
At the same time, in Hoyangbo’s stream, the chat was going wild—for a different reason.
[LMAO HOYANGBO YOU GOT CLAPPED]
[Royal Knight Commander (a.k.a. YOU) got DESTROYED]
[How does it feel to get absolutely dunked on??]
[The devs did you DIRTY, bro]
[Conceptually tragic, but also hilarious]
Hoyangbo was fuming.
“WHAT THE HELL, DEVS?!?”
[This is the funniest thing I’ve seen all day]
[But tbh, Mars’s combat skills were INSANE]
“See?! This wasn’t even my fault! ANYONE in that position would’ve DIED!!”
[Yeah yeah, cope harder]
[Awww, Hoyangbo…]
[At least you looked pretty in the cutscene!]
[Lol, that last moment when your head dropped… So dramatic!]
[That long, flowing hair, though… like a waterfall!]
[Okay, instant ban.]
[Yeah, ban them. Ban them all!]
[LMAO, you’re just a glorified NPC now.]
[Hang him!!]
Hoyangbo sighed deeply.
“Well… If it’s come to this, I need to upload my own video ASAP. At least I should get some views out of it.”
[Chat:]
[That’s the spirit!]
[Wait, didn’t the devs send you a special cutscene for the trailer?]
[Yeah, but that’s different!]
[Right, now we go full damage control.]
[Let’s do this!!]
“Alright, I’ll edit real quick and be back soon. Please wait just a moment.”
[Chat:]
[Got it~]
[We’ll wait!]
With that, Hoyangbo put up a “BRB – Editing” sign on the stream.
For 30 minutes, they focused entirely on video editing.
Just as they were about to finish—
“Hoyangbo, I think you’re too late. Mars already uploaded their video.”
“Huh? Really? I need to check it out.”
Curious, Hoyangbo searched Mars’s channel.
There it was. A one-minute clip.
Click.
The video had clean and simple editing—no fancy effects, just smooth cuts and timing.
[Chat:]
[Oh, just a simple first-person view of the fight.]
[But it looks good! Considering it wasn’t pre-planned, this is nice.]
[Yeah, it feels professional, not low-quality at all.]
[Honestly, their raw gameplay is so good, fancy edits aren’t even needed.]
Hoyangbo agreed.
If the gameplay is good enough, there’s no need for flashy effects.
They had talent. No doubt about it.
“This person just started streaming, but they already have great instincts…”
Either they were naturally gifted, or they had secretly prepared for a long time.
Hoyangbo sighed.
“Man… Even a newcomer is working this hard… Maybe I should put in more effort too.”
Just then—
Hoyangbo quickly replied.
Hoyangbo let out a deep sigh. Then, a thought popped into her mind.
Would it be okay to ask? It felt a little bold, but there was nothing to lose. She decided to go for it.
Some viewers in the chat started complaining.
[Hey, let us see it too! Why do only you guys get to watch?]
But Hoyangbo ignored them and waited.
After about ten minutes, Mars finally responded.
Then, for the next ten minutes, Mars sent message after message, filling the chat with detailed feedback. From editing style and video pacing to background music selection—Mars covered everything. It was an overwhelming amount of advice, showing a deep understanding of video editing.
Even the chat was impressed.
[Wow.]
[So Mars isn’t just good at playing, but also at editing?]
[This level of feedback should be paid for.]
[Was Mars a pro editor in a past life?]
Hoyangbo made up her mind.
“I’ve got a feeling… This person is going to make it big. I need to stick close.”
Her chat reacted immediately.
[Leech mode: ON.]
[Cling to the rising star!]
[Haha, Hoyangbo about to latch on tight.]
***
Ignoring the teasing comments, Hoyangbo got to work. With Mars’s feedback, she made final edits to her video and prepared to upload it.
Meanwhile, Mars had some time before practice. So he decided to check out the new tournament map.
“Yep… just as I remember.”
Other players were struggling to navigate, but Mars was already moving smoothly through the terrain.
“This spot was so broken they nerfed it right after launch. I could probably make a whole video just on these OP areas.”
As he explored, a message popped up.
Hoyangbo: “The tournament is the day after tomorrow, and these geniuses…”
Hoyangbo: “No, these wonderful event organizers…”
Hoyangbo: “Decided to change the tournament map.”
Mars: “To the new battlefield?”
Hoyangbo: “Yes.”
Hoyangbo: “We barely have time to practice now.”
Hoyangbo: “We’re asking other teams if we can extend practice time. Would you be okay with that too?”
Hyunseong stared at the screen, completely forgetting to reply.
It wasn’t that he disliked Hoyangbo’s request.
Actually, it was the opposite.
‘This is way too good for me.’
