Chapter 02
Streaming of reincarnated genius
Episode 2. First Game (1) – Knights of honour
[What the heck?]
[What just happened?]
[Why is he so good?!]
The only viewer in the chat was spamming messages like crazy.
Watching the screen, Hyunseong finally spoke.
“Uh… I guess I’m just playing well today.”
He tried to brush it off, but honestly, he was just as shocked.
“Wait… why am I this good?”
He glanced at the scoreboard.
14 kills, 0 deaths, 1 assist.
The only hit he had taken was from a random NPC archer who shot an arrow into his thigh. Other than that? He had slaughtered his way through the game completely solo.
The secret behind his insane performance was simple.
Crazy physical reflexes!
“Waaaah!”
— Clang!
A reckless enemy rushed at him. Without hesitation, Hyunseong blocked the attack at the perfect moment—
Then, with pinpoint accuracy, he swung his sword.
— Slash!
Every single opponent who charged at him ended up grabbing their throat and collapsing.
<15 Kills in a Row!>
Kill after kill, the numbers just kept stacking up.
[Insane; another critical?!]
[How the hell is he landing every hit to the neck with that slow-ass greatsword?]
“Uh… I don’t know. It just kinda works?”
[Dude, there’s no way this is just ‘good condition’ today.]
“Are You a Pro Gamer?”
[Are you a pro in another game?]
“No, I’m just an average guy.”
[With skills like that, why aren’t you going pro?]
[Are you still a student?]
“I’m an adult. I’ve even served in the military.”
After that, the viewer “1q2W3e4r” suddenly went silent.
Maybe they were speechless.
Or maybe they thought he was just pretending to be humble.
If that was the case, Hyunseong felt seriously wronged.
“I have no idea either! I don’t know why I’m this good!”
He knew his own limits better than anyone.
It wasn’t like he was a bad player—far from it.
Objectively, he was above average in most games. He could easily make it into the top 5% of the player base.
But that wasn’t enough to become a famous “pro-level” streamer.
The gaming world was filled with actual pros and former esports players. If someone wanted to stand out, just being “good” wasn’t enough.
That’s why Hyunseong had always focused on other aspects to make his content entertaining.
But now… if he kept playing like this?
This changed everything.
“Maybe I could just stick to sword-fighting games forever and never go broke?”
As he was thinking, the chat suddenly showed two new viewers.
“qwel23@” and “단결12#”
Their usernames screamed “alt accounts” of his first viewer, “1q2W3e4r.”
But Hyunseong decided to ignore that and greeted them anyway.
“Welcome, qwel23@ and 단결12#! Hope you enjoy the stream.”
[Heard this is the best place for swordplay. Had to check it out.]
“Troublemakers in Chat”
[Hey, which military unit were you in?]
“Glad you’re here! I’ll show you some quality swordplay. I served in the 3rd Division.”
[Oh, GOP duty?]
[Enough with the military talk, dude.]
[Stop sounding like a 20-year veteran and just focus on the game.]
[Yeah, man, chill.]
“Classic.”
Hyunseong had a feeling just from their usernames… and he was right.
These guys were obviously real-life friends, treating the chat like their personal group chat.
He smirked.
“If I were a rookie streamer, I’d probably be panicking right now.”
This was something every small-time streamer faced at least once.
• Ignore it? The chat gets annoying.
• Kick them out? That’s most of the audience gone.
It was a tricky situation.
But Hyunseong was used to this.
“Let’s just leave them for now.”
As long as they didn’t cross the line and try to mess with him, he could tolerate a bit of off-topic chatter.
Some viewers actually liked small streams for this kind of chaotic energy.
Besides…
If the gameplay was good, the distractions would fade away on their own.
Just then, a new group of enemies appeared on screen.
This time, there were three of them.
[Hey, isn’t that the same spearman who got sliced earlier?]
[Looks like he brought backup.]
[It’s 3v1… you sure you’re good?]
The last comment was a reasonable concern.
“Knights of Honor” was famous for its brutal realism.
No magic or superpowers—just raw skill and strategy.
