"We can seal off the place where the corpse is located and figure out a proper solution later!"

Danxia Zi suggested.

"That could work," Old Man Profound Firmament mused. Now that they had figured out the truth about the demonic fire, they could use that knowledge to determine the coverage of the corpse. They could then effectively set up arrays and restrictions to seal the corpse within its sea region. This would solve the threat of the demonic fire.

Although this was a much milder and safer way to deal with the corpse compared to purifying it and destroying it right now, it wasn't a permanent solution. For one, it took time to set up the arrays and restrictions. It also meant that they would not be able to eliminate this crisis in time.

Therefore, it was an option, but it certainly wasn't the best solution.

"Do you think it's possible for the Profound Alliance to temporarily evacuate the people from this sea region and find a way to permanently destroy the corpse later?"

Feng Qingyou suddenly spoke up, "Not only that, we can intentionally divert the demonic fire inside the corpse in the direction of the Rakshasa Kingdom while destroying the corpse. I believe it would be an effective way to destroy them."

Old Man Profound Firmament and Danxia Zi exchanged a glance and gasped when they heard this. It was such an insidious and vicious idea that they shuddered just imagining themselves in the Rakshasa Kingdom's shoes.

What shocked them even more was the fact that it had come from the prim and proper lady who, based on her appearance at least, could not seem to do any harm. This was the kind of fucked-up plan they oldies should have come up with, so this outcome didn't quite fit their worldview to say the least.

At the side, Ye Qing was observing the two Sages' stunned expressions with a smile. He had had a lot of time to grow accustomed to Feng Qingyou's antics, but this was the first time Old Man Profound Firmament and Danxia Zi had witnessed it. What was that saying again? We have been tricked, backstabbed and quite possibly bamboozled. It wasn't quite like that, but it was close enough. Ye Qing had to admit that he quite enjoyed their reactions.

"Is there a problem?" Sensing that Old Man Profound Firmament and Danxia Zi were distracted, Feng Qingyou asked calmly.

"No, no, not at all." When Old Man Profound Firmament came to, he could not help but clap his hands in excitement and praise, "This is a plan that kills two birds with one stone! Wonderful! Just wonderful!"

Yes, this plan was insidious and vicious. But since the target was the Rakshasa Kingdom, a kingdom of cruel, evil Strangers whose sole desire was the end of humanity, it was perfect.

Assuming the plan actually succeeded, they wouldn't just be eliminating the threat of the demonic fire once and for all. They would be dealing the Rakshasa Kingdom a massive blow as well.

The amount and concentration of demonic fire contained within the corpse was easily tens of times, even hundreds of times greater than what it was on the outside. If they could divert it all onto the Rakshasa Kingdom, it would be a potentially destructive blow to say the least.

Even if it could not annihilate the Rakshasa Kingdom outright, it could still deal them a heavy blow. And if they added salt to injury and launched an offensive, it was entirely possible that they might be able to slay every Rakshasa Stranger and annihilate the Rakshasa Kingdom once and for all.

Assuming they succeeded, this would obviously be greatly beneficial for humanity. The Profound Alliance would no longer be threatened by Rakshasa, and humanity would be permanently rid of the Stranger threat.

Even if they failed to wipe out the Rakshasa Kingdom, they could still deal it a grievous blow that they could not recover from for a century, maybe even several centuries. That was enough time for the Profound Alliance to suppress, exterminate, and eradicate them at the roots.

If theystillfailed to wipe out the Rakshasa Kingdom then, then they only had their own sheer incompetence to blame.

Therefore, this solution had far more meaning beyond resolving the threat of the demonic fire itself.

"If this plan really works, then it will be an achievement to be remembered for thousands of seasons to come!"

The more he thought about it, the more excited Old Man Profound Firmament became, "Don't you agree, Danxia?"

"Indeed, it would be a most fortunate thing for all of humanity."

Even the stern-faced Danxia Zi was looking excited. "Most fortunate!"

"Miss Feng, you're... you're incredibly intelligent, aren't you? You're at least better than us old fogeys."

Old Man Profound Firmament lavished praises upon Feng Qingyou. "Assuming that the plan works, your contribution will be the greatest of them all!"

Feng Qingyou added, "That said, the plan is simple in theory but difficult in execution."

"For one, the Profound Alliance boasts a massive population. It will not be easy to carry out the mass evacuation or settle the people."

"Second, we need to find a way to properly divert and control the demonic fire so that it will definitely spread to the Rakshasa Kingdom."

Old Man Profound Firmament and Danxia Zi calmed down a little and started thinking after hearing this.

"If there is a will, there is a way." It was one thing if they hadn't heard about the plan, but since they had, they were unwilling to abandon it no matter what. It was just too good!

Moreover, this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and possibly their one and only chance to wipe out the Rakshasa Kingdom for good. How could they give it up? Who could give it up? "Actually, this isn't as difficult as it seems." It was at this moment Ye Qing broke his long silence.

Old Man Profound Firmament and Danxia Zi looked at Joyless at the same time. "Do you have a plan, Joyless?"

"I have some ideas. I would like you to tell me if they would work."

"Since most of the demonic fire would have been diverted to the Rakshasa Kingdom, the pressure we would face would decrease significantly. We simply need to find a location that is one, far away from the Rakshasa Kingdom's sea region, two, in the opposite direction where the demonic fire is spreading, and three, is extremely defensible.
