Chapter 5: Chapter 5 - Is Training the Key?

"Oyabun, we did everything as you ordered us," said the man with tattoos all over his body.

Oyabun is a term from Japanese organized crime, more specifically the yakuza. It refers to the supreme leader, the head of a clan or gang, who has absolute authority and control over the rest of the members. The oyabun makes key decisions, determines strategies, and resolves conflicts within the organization.

"Well, let's take a look at what you've done," said the young blond.

The yakuza member who was carrying out the young oyabun's mission swallowed the lump that had formed in his throat.

The blond meanwhile took the remote control in his hands and pressed one of the many buttons that were on the surface of this device, after which the screen of a rather expensive TV in front of them lit up. On the screen was a young girl in formal clothes. The girl was holding a folder with documents in her hands.

"... Undoubtedly, the most important news of today is the news that the last known head of the Yamaguchi-gumi clan was murdered in his apartment. The killer has not yet been found," the girl read out the information.

After these words were said, the blond looked at the man and said:

- Good job, Hideo.

Hideo bowed deeply in response and said with undisguised joy and pride:

"I am not worthy of your praise, Masuda-sama.

Ichiro Masuda responded to this with his perfect friendly smile. With this smile, he made it clear that Hideo should accept the praise and not ask for anything more.

"You can go out," the blond said after a few moments.

Hideo bowed again and with difficult to conceal pride in his eyes, he left the room. The blond, left alone, allowed himself to think about what had happened in the last few months.

The blond managed to do the unthinkable. To some extent, what Ichiro Masuda did can be considered a miracle. Ichiro Masuda entered the criminal world at an extremely early age. The blond's growth was explosive, and such a growth rate is due to the fact that Ichiro did not have the brakes that the others had. The young guy had an extremely good motivation in the form of the coming apocalypse.

Ichiro's debut was in the Yamaguchi-gumi, as this organization was the most numerous. The organization was named after Harukichi Yamaguchi, the founder of the organization. Starting as a dock workers' union in Kobe before World War II, this organization gradually developed into a powerful yakuza, engaged in various illegal activities in Japan.

The group had a complex hierarchical structure. It was divided into clans, which in turn included divisions and groups. The hierarchy was based on the principle of vertical organization, where older members have greater status and power. This hierarchical order was strictly observed, and violation could lead to severe punishments.

The Yamaguchi-gumi has long been involved in a variety of business sectors, including construction, nightclubs, gambling, drugs, alcoholic beverages, and even legal businesses.

Many decades of power and terror of this organization... Passed into the hands of Ichiro, as did the power and might of all other organizations that existed in Japan. At first, Ichiro acted based on his fear... However, he could no longer stop, perhaps because of the fear that if he stopped, he would immediately become a target for others, and probably because of the thirst for power.

"I have gained power, but will it help me?" Ichiro whispered, thinking about the future.

- = Takashi Family House =—

"How is Busujima-san doing?" Komuro's father asked Ichiro.

At this time the whole family gathered for a meal and often, it was in such a setting that the family shared news. At this moment the blond finished his miso ramen not without pleasure and, having chewed the meat, said:

- Quite good indeed.

"How bad can it be if Saeko is there," Komuro said sarcastically.

Ichiro's expression didn't change at all, keeping his face as if it was carved from marble. But Homura's parents, on the contrary, couldn't hold back the smile that was tearing their faces.

"Ho-ho, Saeko-chan, huh?" Akemi said with a happy expression. "How's your relationship going?"

The blond thought once again... Was it the right decision? To tell his family that he was dating Saeko? Most likely, it was the right decision, but at such moments, seditious thoughts still visited Ichiro.

Akemi was truly happy that Ichiro and Saeko had finally gotten together. The reason for her joy was that Ichiro had become much happier than before after meeting Saeko.

"Hmm, I think they're doing well," said Akemi's husband. "After all, Ichiro got his knowledge of building strong relationships from me!"

He really did talk to Ichiro about sex and relationships... Komuro's father couldn't help but be proud of what he had done. The blond once again thanked all sorts of gods that this stage had been passed and was left behind.

"My relationship with Saeko is fine," Ichiro said, realizing what he had to do to change the subject. "How are you? Komuro in particular?"

The son of the Takashi family shuddered like a deer caught in the light of the lanterns. Thoughts flashed through Takashi's mind that he had done what he had done in vain.

- M?

The smile on the blond's face only made Komuro Takashi even more nervous.

"How is your relationship with Rei?" Ichiro asked in a sarcastic tone.

The looks from his parents made Komuro even more nervous... The glint in Akemi's eyes indicated that Komuro's mother had found an even more interesting topic for herself.

- Hahahaha, - Komuro laughed awkwardly.

- = After the meal =—

Ichiro was washing the dishes when Akemi's voice rang out:

— Have you prepared your things?

Akemi Takashi spoke of a suitcase containing the things that Ichiro needed to feel comfortable enough in the place he was going to.

"Yes," Ichiro nodded without turning around.

The blond's attention was drawn to the piece of fat that refused to be wiped off. However, Ichiro did not stop the conversation, because he understood what needed to be said.

"You don't have to worry," the blond began to say. "Everything is ready for my little trip to Raccoon City."
