NOVEL NEXT Chapter 7: The Sage
"Oh, someone on this backwater planet has some skills. Color me impressed", Grimm said.
"Young man, it seems as though you've killed our soldiers and was planning on killing the others as well", the grand tutor said.
"That is true", Grimm said.
"So i can assume you plan to go against our nation", the grand tutor responded.
"Actually sir, you guys are after me, well Neo anyways", Grimm said.
'Wait, impossible! There is no way that kid is this strong. I can't even tell what his EXL is, but i do know it's massive. I stand no chance against even with the King and Duke here. We must tread carefully and concede this one, i hope that prideful duke keeps his damned mouth shut or I'll kill him first', the grand tutor thought.
"Who do you think you are boy! You've been on the run for days, now you kill my men, threaten the lives of my people, no respect", he couldn't finish his statement. The grand tutor's hand went through his stomach. The shocked on everyone's face was clearly seen in each other's eyes.
"Micheal, why?" The duke said before he fainted. The king was floored but he didn't say anything or even move for that matter. He knew that the Michael would not attack his own for no reason, with his intellect it must be a reason.
"I must say, you truly deserve your title, and you are very decisive. I was just about to kill him", Grimm said.
"I cannot let all my hard work go down the drain for a silly aristocrat", he responded.
"Well it seems my fun is over here, i guess i will see you guys in a few years", Grimm said.
He started to walk away, a portal appeared in front of him.
"Wait, i almost forgot something", he said.
A portal open up in the sky and a woman dropped out. Hidorn and Melleora eyes went wide. Jinx looked around, she was wondering how she ended up outside Melleora's lab. She saw the King, Duke Valentina, even the Grand Tutor. Wait there is a female Knight, lady Sara? Then she turn her head and saw a smiling Neo, sensing the atmosphere, she knew that this wasn't a great situation. But why does Master Hidorn and even Melleora seems to be afraid of something.
"Neo, whatever she has done i would pay for it, I'll even give you the sword", Hidorn said in a panic.
"Damn, her life is worth that much to you? You truly are a respectable person, but first she must return my item".
"Jinx! Hurry and give the man his property", Hidorn yelled.
"But Master aren't you stronger than this orphan!", she said.
Everyone froze, they all knew that she just signed her own death warrant, maybe they also would not escape death.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP! RETURN HIS ITEM OR I'LL KILL YOU MYSELF!", Hidorn screamed.
She was so terrified that she took out the goblet and rushed it to Grimm as fast as she could.
"Ahahahahahaahha, ladies and gentlemen don't be so alarmed, I'm not as ruthless as Neo, I won't kill someone who is confused, I'll at least inform her first, then kill her", he bellowed out.
They were confused and felt extreme dread at the same time, they all thought thst what he said was still ruthless, yet no one said a word.
"Woman, on account of the sword and the respect Neo has for Hidorn I'll let you live, but Greed is a sin best used by the powerful, you who is an ant dare to extort people by using others will die a painful death, let losing an arm be your lesson", Grimm said while walking away. When he entered the portal a loud scream was heard.
Jinx was on the ground missing her right arm, blood rushing from the mortal wound. Hidorn dashed to her and threw 3 potions at the wound. It closed and started to heal itself, even the bone started to regrow.
"Melleora what happened here, who was that?", Micheal asked.
"For your first question, the duke's knights appeared and declared for the arrest of Neo, we decided to stay out of it because we can neither defeat you nor the king, we also do not want to lower the power of this Kingdom. But it seems as though that was the wrong choice. The boy knew he couldn't defeat the Knights so he was basically pushed into a corner with no hope. I had forgotten that if people have no hope that they will take extreme measures, the boy basically traded places with that Demon you just saw".
After hearing this they knew that no one could've seen this coming, so they couldn't blame one another.
"King Richard i say we speak to Ancestor Magora, She needs to be informed, I believe he will make good on his promise to come back, i also believe he isn't from this planet".
"Smart as always Micheal. I was thinking the same thing", Richard said.
Richard flew away with the still bleeding Duke.
"It seems we have made a terrible enemy, both of you head to my mansion, i need all the details you have on Neo, Leave nothing out. Surely you must know your lives are on the line as well", Micheal said.
They both nodded and everyone left the scene.
Zamata Empire Emperor's Castle:
Grimm arrived in the throne room and saw ministers and the current Emperor on the throne.
"I see that you younglings let a child sit upon my throne", Grimm said.
"Who are you?"
"How dare you speak to the emperor in that tone".
"Someone kill this man".
Black chains enveloped everyone in the room except the emperor, all of them were made to kneel. Seeing these chains everyone was terrified, only one person in the Azcemar(AS-SEE-MAR) Galaxy has that ability. It was HIS magic. The 3RD Emperor. They now knew who they were dealing with. This man was known as the Black Calamity and the Laughing Death. The emperor jumped off of the throne and kneel with his face in the concrete-like floor.
"Now if any one of you lie, you die. Simple right, if you don't answer you die, if you talk too much you die, if i think you are stalling or trying to contact others you die. Now since the rules are stated".
Everyone was shitting bricks, they knew the questions he wanted to ask, they also were part of the reason.
