Chapter 18: Chapter Eighteen
One problem was solved by Monday and another popped up, well it wasn't really a problem but it was bugging me. The attention was now taken from me and Ace to some guy who did some crazy shit with some girl on the night of my party.
I was going to go crazy with the thoughts in my head about what Ace did on Friday night. Ace deliberately watched Cal eating me out and me moaning like crazy and the look on his face as he looked at us and his eyes scanning my body wouldn't leave my head.
He literally saw me half naked and if not for Cal's head I wouldn't really have much dignity left.
The scowl on his face I didn't understand but a part of me was telling me that he didn't like the idea of Cal's head between my legs and he would have preferred his own head there instead.
The thought of his tongue on my clit got me squeezing my legs tight and shaking my head to stop the thoughts. And the way his eyes were all over my body it was as if my crazy thoughts were true. Does he want me?
It didn't help that Ace was now seated beside me in Chemistry. Our teacher made us switch lab partners and lucky me got Ace.
He moved his leg and it touched mine, I flinched from him. He looked at me as if to ask if I was alright.
I focused my attention on what I was doing and time just couldn't get any slower. At the end of the class I rushed out of there and down the hall to get to my locker. At my locker I felt someone's gaze on me and I turned around sharply to look for who it was.
I found Ace by his locker not too far down, his eyes on me. I looked away, took my books and slammed my locker shut. I looked back at Ace and he was still looking at me so I softly hit my head on my locker. The people around me gave me funny looks.
The late bell rang and everyone in the halls slowly disappeared. I was hoping that Ace would walk away already but I was wrong, he was still standing there as if waiting for me.
I looked around and started walking in his direction, That was the way to my next class anyways. I walked past him and I felt his eyes on me.
Finding the nearest empty class I walked in and seconds after Ace walked in after me. I grabbed the front of his shirt and pulled him against the wall.
"What the hell is your problem Ace?" I looked at his eyes waiting for a reaction but I got nothing.
"What do you mean?" He took my hand on his shirt and pried it from fisting his shirt.
"What were you still doing in my room on Friday night?" Now I was getting angry.
He blinked twice, "I was in the room when you left."
"Then why didn't you announce your presence when Cal and I walked into the room?" I needed answers.
"What would have happened? Let me guess you'll pretend to yell at me to get out and your boyfriend would do the same, he would probably recognize me because he wasn't drunk and then what?" He tugged at my hand which he was still holding and that brought us closer to each other.
"How did you know Cal wasn't drunk?" I was calmer now.
There were a lot of things I didn't understand about him and when I thought I'd figured it out something else came up. I had so many unanswered questions about Ace and they just kept coming.
"That's not the point," he answered.
"How did you and your brother know that I raced?" I asked; a question I couldn't help but think about during the weekend.
No one at school knew I raced so how did he know?
"That's still not the point," he stated and I groaned, prying my hand from his grip.
"Alright," I breathed. "Why did you watch Cal-" I couldn't say the words.
"Eat you out?" He finished for me.
I met his gaze. His blue eyes darkened and I saw something in them that I didn't recognize.
"Yes," I couldn't tear my gaze from his face.
He looked so sinful right now, his black hair a bit messy, his jaw line sharp and defined, his Adam's apple bopping up and down and his lips slightly parted. They were so pink and...
Olivia!
He didn't respond so I asked another question. "Why did you look at me like that?"
I walked closer to him and his eyes went down to my exposed cleavage, I was very sure it was my cleavage and not my necklace this time.
"Like what?" He met my gaze.
"Like that." His eyes were exactly the same as yesterday.
He looked down at my lips and I licked them, he swallowed.
Gotcha.
"Like you wanted to take the place of Callum," I added, seductively.
His gaze flickered from my lips to my eyes and back down to my lips again. I stepped closer to him and pressed my chest against his.
He wasn't moving, as still as a statue, just his eyes and chest moving up and down. He slowly started leaning in and I did the same too. At that moment, my body wanted him and it let it take the lead. I wanted to feel his rough hands all over my body, his lips on mine and-
His phone rang causing me to scramble from him. He took out his phone from his pocket and answered the call.
I walked to the other end of the room needing to get enough space between us. Whenever I was around Ace I did things I wouldn't do on a normal day both good and bad.
Ace was yelling Italian to whoever was on the other end of the phone but I couldn't even hear what he was saying over the thoughts going on in my head.
When he hung up I walked towards the door and right past him. I wasn't in the right state of mind to learn so I walked out of the school and straight to my car.
Before I pulled out of the school's lot I saw Ace from my rearview mirror getting into his own truck. He looked pissed.
That made two of us.
After storming out of school I went for a long drive downtown to the tracks. When I parked my car on the tracks I rested my head on the steering wheel.
What the hell was going on? Why did I want to jump Ace?
At the beginning it started as a little taunting then it turned to me wanting his hands and lips all over my body. I'd never wanted anyone so badly before.
"Fuck!" I slammed my fist on the wheels causing the honk the blow.
I opened my school bag looking for my cigarette and lighter but I only found my lighter. I checked my glove compartment for the one I usually kept there but I didn't find it. I remembered throwing the whole packet away and I just wanted to shoot myself.
I started the car and drove down to the gas station down the road. I parked the car and stormed into the convince store there.
It was old but still clean, the walls looked like they were going to crumble anytime. Anyone who walked into this building would know that it was hardly functioning anymore.
An old man was at the counter, sleeping. I walked to the counter and cleared my throat.
The man jolted awake, wiping his mouth, "sorry what can I get you?" I pointed to the packet of cigarettes behind him and he nodded. He took one and gave it to me.
I studied the packet and my eyes fell on the spot that had written: 'smokers are liable to die young.'
I remembered the story Ace told me about his uncle, I dropped the pack on the table and turned around to leave. On getting to the door I turned back around, took the cigarette and paid for it.
I dialed Eli's number, he picked on the second ring.
"Hey, are you at the club?" I asked.
"Yeah," he answered.
"I'll soon be there," I hung up.
When I got to the club, which belonged to Eli's gang, I sent a quick nod to the security guy at the front before heading to the VIP section where I was sure Eli was.
Like expected, he was seated on the couch with some girl seated in his lap. Nick was beside him.
"Aren't you supposed to be in school?" Eli asked when he saw me.
"I'm pretty sure school is over now." I sat on his other side.
He chased the girl that was on his laps away, "so what brings you here?"
"Can't a girl come to drink and smoke in peace?" I took out a cigarette and lit it.
"I thought you don't really drink?" He beckoned for a waitress passing by to get us a drink.
"Today is different," I sat back on the couch.
When they brought the drink, I took the first shot, then another and another. I didn't care for the taste I just drank.
After downing the fourth one, Eli held my hand. "Chill there, are you okay?"
"Never been better," I rose another shot glass and downed it.
Ever since Ace came into my life I'd been feeling a lot of things, things I didn't usually feel. Then my parents were planning to divorce and now Ace again.
I took a drag and exhaled. I didn't want to feel at the moment.
I looked at Eli and he slowly changed to Ace. "Why are you looking at me?"
"Are you sure you're alright?" It didn't sound like Ace.
I shook my head and Ace changed to Eli. I took another shot and a drag. I could feel the alcohol already working in my system. I wasn't a light weight at all and it usually took up to ten shots to get me drunk.
I took the whole bottle in front of me and took large gulps, someone stopped me.
"Alright that's enough." Eli said and I shook my head.
I took a drag again and sat back on the couch. I took a drag again and closed my eyes.
When I was done with the stick in my hand, nothing made sense anymore. I was hearing voices but I didn't know who was talking.
I looked beside me and I saw Ace. "What are you doing here?"
"Okay I need to take you home," he said, his deep voice sending shivers throughout my body.
"No, I want to stay here," I protested.
"Come on," he reached out for me and I used that opportunity to straddle him.
"Olivia what are you doing?" He sounded surprised.
"Shut up," I slammed my lips on his.
He stilled for a second before kissing me back. He tasted like cigarettes and alcohol mixed with mint, it wasn't really nice. This was not what kissing Ace should be like.
He gripped my face and pulled away. Now I was seeing Eli whose whole face was red.
"I'm taking you home," he wrapped his hands around my thighs and stood up, making sure that I was balanced.
When on his feet, he slowly let me down and placed his hand over my waist and dragged me out of the place. I protested but he wasn't having it so I just gave up.
He threw me onto the passenger's seat of the car, searched for my keys in my pocket before clicking on my seatbelt.
The moment he hit the gas I closed my eyes and slept off.
