Puzzled, Qing Mu walked over to one of the defeated Lava Dopants and picked up the Lava Memory from their body. As he inspected it, he noticed that the connection port was indeed blue.

“It’s definitely not an ordinary Memory; it’s a T2 Memory. No wonder they were so powerful,” Qing Mu mumbled to himself.

“These Memories are useless to me, and carrying them around could potentially reveal my location. It’s better to destroy them all and avoid any future troubles,” Qing Mu thought.

Without hesitation, Qing Mu easily crushed the rare Lava Memory in his hand with a satisfying click.

Crushed into pieces.

He then raised his Card Box Gun and fired several shots, destroying all of the Lava Memories.

“Now, everything should be fine,” Qing Mu said to himself.

Having completed his mission, Qing Mu swiftly disappeared into the distance. The recent battle with the Lava Dopants had caused significant damage to the surrounding area, but there were no witnesses in the vicinity to notice the destruction.

Under the cover of night, Qing Mu infiltrates Eternal Technology Inc.

Eternal Technology Inc. is even larger in Yancheng than Qing Mu had imagined. Apart from two large buildings, there’s an expansive industrial park that would take an ordinary person a whole day to explore fully. Everywhere you look, there are surveillance cameras. One wrong move, and you’d be caught on camera. Fortunately, Qing Mu has that special AttackRide card that allows him to become invisible. Otherwise, he’d likely be exposed in no time.

Qing Mu can’t help but think, “No wonder Kaitō Daiki can steal things everywhere and get away with it. This card is really handy. If I were to use it to rob the vault, I doubt anyone would notice.”

Of course, Qing Mu is only entertaining the thought. He may not have much money, but he’s not that desperate. Without a clear target in mind, he doesn’t know how to find clues. So, he wanders around aimlessly, much like a headless fly.

At this time, many employees have already gone home, leaving the place deserted.

In these situations, there are typically two types of areas where secrets are hidden: the highest and lowest points. Qing Mu decides to start by exploring underground. Evil organizations tend to construct peculiar structures in dark, underground locations.

Surprisingly, Eternal Technology Inc. has a massive underground space, meticulously organized with various mechanical instruments that Qing Mu can’t comprehend. It’s awe-inspiring.

“What’s this place used for? Does a legitimate tech company need so many bizarre things?” Qing Mu wonders aloud.

He’s growing increasingly curious about what his father, Qin Yu, is involved in at this company. Qin Yu is in charge of a development department at Eternal Technology Inc., but he’s never shared any specifics about what they’re working on. Now, Qing Mu suspects it’s not something benign.

As he continues exploring, Qing Mu hears some noises.

“Is there someone in that laboratory up ahead?”

The presence of someone could mean new discoveries.

Qing Mu cautiously approaches, fearing he might expose himself.

The laboratory has a large glass wall on one side, allowing a clear view of what’s happening inside.

Through the glass, Qing Mu observes the ongoing procedure. Several workers in protective suits are performing some kind of operation on a man lying on an operating table. The man twitches, groans, and appears to be in excruciating pain. However, he’s securely restrained and unable to break free, subject to the will of the workers.

Watching the man being ruthlessly experimented on, Qing Mu can’t help but think, “Is this what they call operating without anesthesia? It’s so gruesome, way too brutal. If they’d just administered some anesthesia, he wouldn’t be struggling so violently. These people are truly heartless; they’d rather save the cost of a single anesthesia injection.”

Qing Mu is no saint. He won’t jump to the rescue of anyone he sees. While the man appears to be suffering, he has no connection to Qing Mu. There’s no need for Qing Mu to risk exposure just to save him. He silently observes, wanting to understand what these people are up to.

This observation continues for about half an hour.

Finally, the entire operation reaches its conclusion. The workers lift the man and place him inside a sealed transparent apparatus, then press a button. Instantly, a thick smoke enters the apparatus through a pipeline, engulfing the man.

In the world of Kamen Riders, the first thing that comes to mind when you mention smoke is Nebula Gas. Nebula Gas is a peculiar substance introduced in Kamen Rider Build. Of course, it could also turn them into something like the Hazard Level holders, like Kamen Rider Rogue or Kamen Rider Cross-Z. When the Hazard Level reaches a certain point, it may even grant them the ability to transform using the Build Driver and become a Kamen Rider.

In this world, Qing Mu hasn’t encountered any Kamen Riders, Smash creatures, or individuals who can transform using the Build Driver. He doesn’t know if this entire concept exists in this world.

Under the influence of the thick smoke, the man inside the apparatus undergoes a transformation.

Once the smoke clears away, what Qing Mu sees is…

Lying inside the apparatus is no longer the original man but a monstrous creature, completely black, with an incredibly robust physique, and fists even larger than its head.

“Is that an Smash of Strengthened Type?” Qing Mu wonders aloud. “Does this mean the thick smoke earlier was indeed Nebula Gas?”

Qing Mu recognizes the creature as a type of monster that appeared in Kamen Rider Build, the Smash of Strengthened Type.

In the world of Kamen Riders, Smashes are categorized into several levels: Basic Smash, Smash of Strengthened Type, Hard Smash, Hazard Smash, and Lost Smash. Smash of Strengthened Type is an evolved form of the Basic Smash, possessing even greater strength. Even the protagonist, Kiryu Sento, had to be cautious when facing a Smash of Strengthened Type in the early stages of his battles.

However, given Qing Mu’s current abilities, he doesn’t find an Enhanced Strong Smash threatening. At the very least, it would take a Hazard Smash to pique his interest.
