Chapter 13 - The Script is Wrong, Why Are We Jealous Now?
“Ouch! That hurts!”
Changqing lay on the ground, clutching his waist and groaning in pain.
Lin Qianqian had kicked him with all her strength, and it had left him writhing in agony.
But Lin Qianqian paid no attention to Changqing’s suffering. She was seething with anger as she roared, “Changqing! If you dare to say such things again, next time, I won’t kick you; I’ll rip your mouth apart! Do you hear me?”
“Ouch! Ouch!” Changqing didn’t respond to Lin Qianqian; he continued to clutch his waist in pain.
Qing Mu finished the last piece of fatty beef in his bowl, wiped his mouth, and stood up, saying, “Well, it seems like I should leave now. You two can continue playing.”
Having eaten his fill, Qing Mu didn’t want to stick around any longer. He was wary that trouble might be brewing outside, with people waiting to confront him.
However, Lin Qianqian stopped him and said, “Wait a minute! There’s something I want to discuss with you!”
Qing Mu halted in his tracks, looking at Lin Qianqian with a half-smile. “I think you should deal with this guy first; he might cause more trouble.”
Changqing, still recovering from the pain, managed to get up from the ground. He was seething with anger and said, “Lin Qianqian! You wait and see; I won’t let this matter rest! Don’t think you can bully me just because your father, Lin Zhendong, supports you! I’m telling you, my family is not to be trifled with either! You just wait! Hmph, you ungrateful woman!”
After making his threats, Changqing turned and hurriedly left, afraid of facing another one of Lin Qianqian’s kicks.
Lin Qianqian was still fuming with anger, and her face was flushed. She glared at Changqing’s retreating figure and muttered, “Good riddance!”
Meanwhile, the onlookers in the cafeteria were buzzing with gossip.
“Oh my God! Lin Qianqian actually laid hands on Changqing.”
“Didn’t Changqing pursue Lin Qianqian relentlessly? How did he end up getting beaten by her? Is there some hidden story behind this?”
“Lin Qianqian is usually so aloof and untouchable. Could it be that she fought with Changqing because of that guy sitting next to her?”
“Is Lin Qianqian finally in love? Is she willing to fight with Changqing for her crush?”
“But we’ve never seen that guy before. Is he a student from our school?”
“He should be, I guess?”
“We have to find a way to ask that guy about his background. He has such a strong appeal that he made Lin Qianqian fight Changqing.”
“It seems like our school won’t be short of gossip news anytime soon.”
“…….”
Although the discussions of the onlookers were not very loud, Qing Mu still caught some of their words.
“Miss Lin, it seems you’re quite popular on campus. So many people gossiping about you! Well, I guess I’m getting famous too, whether it’s a good thing or a bad thing, who knows!” Qing Mu replied with a wry smile.
If he could, he would prefer not to become famous on campus in this manner.
Lin Qianqian, however, wasn’t concerned about Changqing. She said dismissively, “Don’t worry, I’ll handle Changqing. He won’t affect you. Besides, with your abilities, you shouldn’t be concerned about Changqing, right? His family may be wealthy, but clearly, they can’t threaten you.”
With Qing Mu’s strength, only powerful Kamen Riders or monsters could pose a threat to him. Changqing, despite his wealth, was just an ordinary person in Lin Qianqian’s eyes, not worth mentioning.
“Alright, let’s change locations. I’m not comfortable being the center of attention like this,” Qing Mu said, and he headed toward the staircase without waiting for Lin Qianqian.
Lin Qianqian quickly picked up her belongings and followed Qing Mu. Before Wan Sheng could arrive, she needed to stay close to him to ensure Qing Mu didn’t escape. She had to take her chance for revenge.
As they left the cafeteria, they coincidentally ran into Wan Sheng, who was on his way to find Lin Qianqian. Wan Sheng waved at her and called out, “Qianqian!”
“Brother Wan Sheng!” Lin Qianqian greeted him with a smile, relieved that her backup had finally arrived.
Qing Mu paused and glanced at Wan Sheng, assessing him with a quick once-over. Wan Sheng appeared ordinary on the surface, without any distinctive features. He didn’t seem like a formidable opponent.
Qing Mu then turned to Lin Qianqian and said, “You’ve been following me around for half a day just to wait for him, haven’t you? Are you sure he can defeat me? Don’t end up with both of you getting beaten by me, or that would be embarrassing.”
At this point, Qing Mu was not afraid of facing strong opponents. What he feared more was encountering challengers who were not strong enough. The stronger the opponent, the more valuable the Kamen Rider cards he could obtain.
Lin Qianqian widened her eyes in disbelief. She hadn’t expected Qing Mu to see through her intentions so easily. “You know what I was planning, and you’re boldly waiting for Brother Wan Sheng? Are you underestimating me?”
“It’s not that I underestimate you; I just wanted to see what kind of help you could bring. I hope your ‘Brother Wan Sheng’ can surprise me. It would be boring if he’s as weak as you,” Qing Mu replied with a smirk.
Qing Mu crossed his arms and adopted a mysterious demeanor. Wan Sheng approached them.
First, he smiled at Lin Qianqian, then turned his gaze towards Qing Mu, his expression gradually becoming serious and cold.
“Are you the Kamen Rider Decade that Qianqian mentioned?”
“Yes, that’s me. What, do you want to help her seek revenge?”
“I enjoy battling strong opponents the most. I heard from Qianqian that you’re strong, so I want to fight you. Can we?”
“Sure, of course. I also enjoy fighting, and the back hill of the school is quite quiet. No one will disturb us there. Shall we go?”
“Agreed.”
The two of them didn’t waste any more words.
If they were going to fight, they might as well get on with it.
After the agreement was made, the three of them walked towards the direction of the school’s back hill.
Just as Qing Mu had mentioned, there were hardly any people at the back hill.
They were completely unafraid of being interrupted while fighting here.
The three of them found a relatively spacious area.
Qing Mu and Wan Sheng stood facing each other.
Lin Qianqian had absolute confidence in Wan Sheng’s abilities.
So, she had no intention of teaming up with Wan Sheng against Qing Mu.
Instead, she decided to be an honest spectator.
She also took out her phone to record the battle.
She planned to capture Qing Mu’s Decade Drive in action.
Lin Qianqian was very interested in Qing Mu’s Decade Drive.
If she could capture the battle process and send it to the development department, she might be able to obtain valuable data.
