Starting With a Reef [Global Survival]

In the afternoon, Yun Luohe and the others returned to the reef.
Because it was a Lucky Day, everyone’s haul from the desert was abundant—they had dug up plenty of electronic parts, obsidian, and magnets while treasure-hunting.
Yun Luohe had even discovered a vein of Blue Crystal Ore with the help of a Blue Crystal Lizard. The group mined until the desert timer expired, unwilling to leave, before being transported back to the reef. The vein still held plenty, and they could continue digging the next day.
The first order of business after returning was organizing supplies.
This time, the biggest prize was more than a hundred pieces of Blue Crystal Ore.
Blue Crystal Ore was extremely valuable. At first, players had only known it could forge high-grade weapons and armor. But as exploration continued, more uses had been discovered.
For example, it could craft an electromagnetic harpoon—particularly deadly against sharks, making it an excellent shark-hunting tool.
It could also be used to make a refrigerator, able to preserve food and medicine for much longer.
She planned to ask Yang Mian for help forging two hunting knives from Blue Crystal Ore, then craft two sheaths herself to strap to her waist. Twin blades, easy to draw at any time—a perfect setup for close combat.
Once her loot was sorted, Yun Luohe ate a meal to fill her stomach, then got ready to open the shells.
That morning, Roubao had fished up three more.
Adding the six she had saved from the past two days, she now had nine shells to open in one go.
The anticipation was high.
Hopefully she would pull some new blueprints or other useful items.

It could all be recycled into something useful.

Each stage requires different amounts of nutrient solution depending on its state.
Once mature, the Starwish Tree can grant wishes.

—Wish of Nature: Accelerates reef’s ecosystem, generating diverse wildlife.
Each wish requires a corresponding sacrificial offering.
Once the Starwish Tree matures, offerings for each wish will be revealed.

The compendium also illustrated the three growth stages.
In the seedling phase, glowing young leaves sprouted. In the growth phase, runes of wish-making appeared on the trunk, marking the offerings required.
In maturity, starry fruits would grow in the crown. Then watering could cease, offerings could be sacrificed, and the star-fruits would fall—granting the chosen wish.
Yun Luohe was exhilarated.
She hadn’t decided which wish to pick yet, but planting the tree couldn’t wait. Maturity would take time, so the sooner the better.
She immediately contacted Du Ruan-tian, asking her to prioritize crafting Golden Nutrient Solution.
She also shared the materials list with Mu Zitang, asking him to keep collecting spares.
Her own stockpile wouldn’t be enough.
At the same time, she organized her Strawberry Island intel and sent it to Mu Zitang, urging him to visit too. A legendary tree species like the Starwish Tree would massively benefit any reef—early acquisition was crucial.
If needed, Starwish Tree intel could even be traded for vast resources. Obtaining the compendium itself already qualified as S-rank intel.

She had seen blueprints for teleportation arrays before—six regions in total. She hadn’t expected there would also be one specifically for the reef.

Compared to the six regional arrays, the Reef Array was the most important.
Without it, she couldn’t teleport freely from her reef to other zones. And without it, even if she used an array in another region, she couldn’t instantly return to her reef.

Her reserves were running low. Hundreds more—where would she even get them?
In the early game, a single crystal had been precious. Now everything seemed to cost fifty, a hundred at a time.
She sighed and checked the other blueprints.
