Chapter 6: Chapter 6: This God realm will collapse very soon
In just a single day, Luidwish discovered a ploy set up for who knows how long. Not because he was smarter than the Primordial Gods, but because his commotion caused the two mountain goat-like horns guys to execute the array in his presence.
The moment the two panicked at witnessing his strength and realized the opportunity of powerful Gods and True Immortals gathering in one place, which they had long desired, there was no better opportunity for them than now.
Unfortunately, Luidwish was so powerful that they were rendered helpless by his power, even after they executed such a tremendous array entrusted to them by the spirit of the God and Immortal realm artefact.
"No wonder the beings in this God realm are so weak. The Primordial God who created this realm thought everything through in advance. If the Primordial God allowed the strength of the beings within this artefact to reach the peak of the Ancestral God, it would be difficult to execute the plan against such powerful experts. Therefore, the Primordial God limited the spiritual energy of the God realm to help high-potential immortal cultivators reach at least the early stage of Ancestral God. This way, the array could be strengthened by the sacrificed soul power needed for resurrection, at the expense of all beings sacrificed within the two realms. The powerful soul of a Primordial God will require a multitude of strong souls along with all the living beings from the two realms to accomplish the resurrection." Luidwish murmured as he came to this realization.
"Since the owner of the God and Immortal realms artefact created the living beings within it, the Primordial God will not feel guilty sacrificing them all, because he can create another batch of people once he resurrects, but seeing how these people beg to survive, how could I let such cruel being succeed and resurrect?"
"But I will not sacrifice my Master's most loved treasure just to save these strangers. I have to come up with another plan."
Luidwish pondered as he dropped to the ground. Even when the array is controlled by the artefact's spirit, he finds it easy to walk under the powerful effect of this array, which severely drains the senses of others.
Luidwish could easily leave the God realm if he wanted to, but his Master was not that kind of person, and he himself was not selfish enough to flee and allow others to die.
"It will take at least two days for this array to completely drain everyone's spiritual essence enough to resurrect the culprit. The good news is that my Celestial Summit has an infinite spatial region capable of sustaining life; however, that location contains my Master's secrets. How could I be foolish enough to send others there? I do not mind transferring the entire living beings of the Immortal world into that location because they are too weak to discover things left behind by my Master, but I will have to find another way to save and take beings from the God realm as well."
"This array can no longer be stopped, and to avoid potential issues in the future, I must take every living being in both realms and never leave even an insect behind."
"You can leave me here to die, Senior, but please save the young ones. I beg of you!" The old Lady Nana yelled in agony, believing that only the senior who could move would have the mercy to save her six Immortal Gods who just arrived at this place with her.
"Senior, save us!" Many sorrowful screams broke out as everyone pinned their last hope on Luidwish. There is nothing scarier than seeing yourself die in this helpless manner. Desperation and despair made everyone look so pitiful.
Luidwish gazed at the three remaining Ancestral Gods and used his voice to enforce the power of the law, saying, "Rise and help me."
The three felt their bodies lighten, and the constraint produced by the array quickly eased around them.
The others thought Luidwish's astounding feat was simple, but they had no idea how much spiritual energy he sacrificed merely to free the three Ancestral Gods from the array. If he could perform this move again, he might fall from exhaustion. He has already used this move twice today, by killing two and freeing the three Ancestral Gods.
"This..." Old Lady Nana was shocked to see herself free.
"Free! I am free!" Rhismond almost lost his cool because he was so delighted.
As for the beauty, she simply glanced at her hands in disbelief. Even Luidwish is astonished since this beauty has not spoken a word today; perhaps she is mute.
"Ahem! Listen carefully." Luidwish stated, pointing to the two corpses of the two mountain goat-like horned guys, "Search them and take out all their treasures, as well as everyone else's, including yours. If you wish to survive, do not hoard anything because we will utilize the treasures to build a temporary realm, as this God realm is a lost course and a trap to sacrifice all of you."
"Outside this realm is the void, corroded by harmful gases, and none of you can survive a day there. To ensure your survival, we will have to give up all of your God realm treasures. Go out and swiftly collect all the treasures and bring them here. When I return from the Immortal world soon, I will save all of you and allow you to leave this place."
"This God realm will collapse very soon, and anyone who refuses to go should be my guest and stay behind as a sacrifice to revive someone else. I am going to save the immortal world right now. If any of you three attempt to pull an unexpected move like these two morons, I will ensure that your fate is worse than death." Luidwish spoke in an authoritative tone while pointing to the two corpses, and his voice was domineering without giving the three Ancestral Gods any face.
Luidwish did not want to be perceived as domineering, but in this position, if he did not assert his authority, everyone would take advantage of his kindness.
Luidwish's comments astounded the three, and they could not protest because everyone's lives would be endangered if they did not follow his instructions.
"I am descending. Do your duty as instructed and do not let me down." Luidwish spoke and watched their reactions.
"Yes, Senior." Rhismond and Lady Nana agreed in unison, and all three of them cupped their fists and bowed before Luidwish.
