Starting a Reversal in Life From the Time of Release

chapter 12

12 – A World of Great Deeds by Women (3)

[Come on, pull harder! Don’t let go!]

[Be careful there! It’s slipping!]

An unpolluted, clear sea.

A wooden dock.

Women with sun-darkened skin toiling on small fishing boats as they pulled in their nets.

They still seemed foreign but full of vitality.

I sat on the wooden dock railing, breathing in the salty sea breeze.

No incoming boats, thanks to Alberto’s consideration.

[Hey there.]

While I was lost in thought, a woman wearing a sleeveless shirt approached with a smile.

With the loose sleeveless shirt, she didn’t leave much to the imagination.

“Yes?”

[Um… I wanted to try helping with the work.]

[You didn’t hear me? Your way of talking is entirely different because of your immigrant background.]

As I shook my head in apparent confusion, another woman approached, also with a smile.

“Oh? Really?”

“Yes. She’s a recent guest at the Marquis’s castle. Her escort.”

“Escort? Using immigrants as escorts? Why is she here alone?”

“Well, she’s in a safe castle. Does she really need an escort?”

“That makes sense.”

The woman who had initially approached seemed disappointed.

Instead of speaking, she squinted her eyes and sensually stretched her neck to expose her collarbone.

For some reason, all the women living here had ample bosoms.

As a result, the suggestive gesture was especially pronounced.

My body reacted slightly to it, but I shook my head and clapped my hands.

“Haven’t you paired up with anyone yet? Pity, isn’t it?”

[Hey, Mr.! Are you being careful as a bodyguard? It’s quite disappointing!]

[Fool! If you want to seduce a man, you should approach cautiously. Don’t just rush in from the chest. Atmosphere!]

[Tsk! It’s a lost cause, a total disaster! We can’t communicate anyway!]

[She might look pretty appetizing, but… We’re done. Let’s just go.]

The women faced each other and chatted before leaving their spot.

The woman with brown hair glanced regretfully a few times.

Silence returned to the beach.

Even after that, a few people approached me but soon walked away.

It was frustrating not being able to communicate. Of course, I couldn’t say anything either.

Ironically, it was even more frustrating for them since they could understand each other.

[…Hey! Hey!]

Meanwhile, there was a commotion in one corner of the beach.

The sound was faint, giving it a distant feeling.

As I strained my ears, I soon located where the sound was coming from.

It was the cries of the people who had boarded a sinking ship in the distance.

Since they were sea people, they probably knew how to swim and wouldn’t die immediately.

However, they looked like dots, and people didn’t seem to notice them.

If I weren’t a hunter, I might have walked past them without noticing.

It was a dangerous situation.

As time passed, hypothermia could become a problem, and the calm waves were pushing them away from the shore.

Frustrated by the lack of communication and potential misunderstandings, action was more important now.

So, I quickly got up and ran to the pier with the boat.

“What? What’s going on? Why is a guy suddenly here?” Women with uneven skin looked at me with raised eyebrows.

It was understandable since I had suddenly approached with the boat.

So, I quickly pointed to a spot on the beach and untied the rope holding the boat.

“Hey, hey?! What are you doing?”

“Hey! Are you planning to jump on the boat?”

“Stop him!”

Amidst the startled chatter of the people, I threw myself onto the boat.

As I jumped on, the boat rocked on the water.

I stirred the oars placed on the boat and pulled the boat a little forward.

I couldn’t cause a commotion at the dock.

“Oh, oh…?!”

The moment the boat moved away from the dock,

I forcefully splashed the seawater splashing from the back of the boat.

Splash!

A loud noise, like a bomb exploding, shook the sky, and the small raft flew diagonally over the sea.

Like a dolphin, jumping up and down on the surface of the water.

As the boat moved back and forth on the swaying waves a few times, we eventually reached the distant sea where three people were swimming.

“Get on board!”

Even if they couldn’t understand me, I shouted out of frustration.

Kneeling on the boat, I tapped on the railing.

Then, the women swimming like frogs approached the boat and slowly crawled up.

“Wow… We’re alive!”

“I really thought we were going to die today!”

“Who could have known that the boat would suddenly break?”

They laughed and shared stories, soaked from head to toe.

They appeared to have a certain aura, perhaps because they were people of the sea.

“We will depart.”

After saying words that may or may not be understood, I splashed the water in front of the bow of the boat this time.

It wasn’t just a splash, but a vibration that caused a loud noise, ringing in the ears.

“Wow!”

“Ahhh!!”

The people on the boat shouted with bright expressions.

They looked as if they were enjoying a roller coaster ride.

After pulling the boat back to the dock, the people looked at me, their eyes wide open.

Feeling uncomfortable under their gaze, I pushed the boat and climbed up onto the dock.

As I swiftly jumped onto the high dock, their surprised expressions were once again evident.

I quickly tried to escape from the beach as his gaze felt burdensome,

[Hey, look over there!]

A person pointed towards the horizon, their mouth wide open.

The others also looked in the same direction, their eyes wide open.

I hadn’t noticed because I was preoccupied with finding someone and the noise was deafening.

Three huge ships were approaching shoulder to shoulder.

And they were moving at a fairly fast speed.

Perhaps they were noble or other merchants leading trade ships.

Since it had nothing to do with me and I couldn’t intervene, I quickly lost interest.

That’s why I came back to the castle right away and borrowed the bathroom.

“Oh? Did something like that happen?”

Alberto smiled and asked as he wiped his wet body.

He seemed proud of himself.

“Yes. I couldn’t understand what they were saying, but at least lives were saved.”

“That’s fortunate. Even if we check, we can’t guarantee perfection because accidents are always possible. Some people just pass by without taking it seriously, thinking everything will be fine.”

Alberto closed his eyes as if feeling sorry and nodded silently.

Such things occasionally happen in reality too, and it seems like it’s the same with the people here.

Moreover, since they don’t have modern facilities like us, it’s even more inadequate.

“By the way, a quite large ship came, right? People seemed surprised; they must be doing well.”

“Hmm… is that so? Have you seen the pattern drawn on the flag?”

“Pattern? I didn’t see it…”

When I said I hadn’t seen it, curiosity flickered in Alberto’s expression.

“Too bad. If you had seen the pattern, you could roughly tell which family or merchant it belongs to.”

“Is that so?”

“I usually know the patterns of the ships that transport large cargo. I’m quite knowledgeable in that regard.”

He said the word “knowledgeable” with emphasis and laughed, then he sat down on the opposite side of the table.

“By the way, what about contacting the capital?”

“Well, I guess by now the message must have been delivered, but there’s still no response… It’s a bit strange.”

When I changed the topic out of curiosity, a shadow fell on Alberto’s expression.

Seems like he’s worrying about various things.

“Is something wrong? Soon I will get some response.”

“That’s right. Even though I have to worry about transportation, if there was a crazy guy who intercepted the letter, there would have been chaos.”

Still, she lifted the corners of her mouth to give some comfort.

Luckily, it seems like her mood has lightened a bit.

“Right. Would you like some tea? Since you saved the people living in this country, as a gesture of gratitude as a nobleman…”

Mr. Alberto lightly laughed as he stood up, but the thumping sound from the corridor bothered him.

There shouldn’t be many people who can make that noise in a noble’s house…

Perhaps something urgent must have happened.

Someone barged in, or the merchandise was stolen, or maybe a murder occurred.

However, someone proved that all of my expectations were wrong.

A woman in a fitted suit opened the door and came in.

Moreover, she was tall and slim, and a dazzling beauty with very prominent feminine curves.

“Ah… Alberto. It’s really… Alberto, right?”

“Anastasia…!”

Mr. Alberto called out someone’s name while standing there stiffly.

It seems that the woman in the black tailored suit standing in front of him is Anastasia.

Wham! The two of them looked at each other as if they could see through each other, then approached and embraced tightly, as if they had been waiting for each other.

“I missed you…! How much I missed you!”

“I am sorry. I came to find you too late.”

The woman shed tears while speaking with a resentful voice.

Mr. Alberto hugged her tightly and whispered.

To anyone, they looked like a married couple or something similar, with a close relationship.

“Yes. What have you been doing… You…?!”

Mr. Alberto separated from her slightly and asked, but as if the woman had been waiting, she kissed him on the lips.

When they ended up kissing, Mr. Alberto’s eyes widened.

He quickly pushed the woman’s shoulders as if telling her to let go, but his actions were very timid.

Unable to resist the flow, he eventually embraced the woman’s waist and kissed her.

Seeing that sight, I unconsciously let out a sigh of admiration.

“Oh…”

The woman, unsatisfied with just the deep kiss, unhesitatingly undid Mr. Alberto’s pants.

It was a fierce, almost primal, passion that didn’t even care about human discretion.

Thanks to it, I found myself in a precarious situation with the broomstick I had crafted.

Nevertheless, to avoid disturbing the aftermath of several years, I quickly left the room and closed the door from outside.

Thud. Just as the door closed, a more intense noise echoed from inside, chilling me to the bone.

The whimpering of a woman named Anastasia.

The bewildered voice of Mr. Alberto.

And the sticky sound of water.

“Starting today, for a week, we won’t leave this room and we will mate. Understand?”

“W-What?!”

“Sorry. I missed you too much; I couldn’t bear it any longer…!”

Soon, the creaking of the bed and a loud scream could be heard, leaving me speechless.

The sounds inside the room were strangely vivid, causing confusion and curiosity about what was happening.

“Oh my? Mother… Your Majesty, where are you?”

As I sat in front of the door, someone approached me and asked.

She was a young woman in a black uniform, with deep sky-blue hair, just like Anastasia.

To some extent, one could mistake us for identical twins.

Judging by the atmosphere, she seemed to be asking about the whereabouts of the person inside the room, but it was awkward to confirm that she was indeed inside.

Entering when people were in the midst of passionate love-making was akin to pouring cold water.

So, feeling embarrassed, I sighed deeply and finally made a circle with my hand, trying to communicate by inserting and withdrawing my fingers from the circle.

I wondered what would happen if this gesture, common in our world, didn’t work here.

Fortunately, the woman seemed to understand my intention. She chuckled and nodded her head.

“You were quite eager, but finally!”

She laughed for a while, then tied her stomach and took something out of the pocket of her uniform pants.

It was a necklace with a small blue gem, attached to a silver cord.

Sitting down in front of me, holding the necklace in both hands, she extended it towards me.

Was she trying to give it to me?

I tilted my head, questioning, and as I leaned forward, the woman moved her arms behind her head as if she had been waiting.

Soft hair brushed my cheek, and a fragrant smell permeated my nose.

Snap.

When a small sound intertwined, the woman withdrew her body.

Then, strangely enough, the necklace around my neck emitted its own light.

For just a moment.

” How is it? Can you understand what I’m saying now? “

As the light disappeared, the woman smiled and asked.

The words that I couldn’t understand just a few seconds ago were deeply ingrained in my ears.
