Was that the kind of person who'd write a book like Flopper, though? I mean, Pagan was a hot mess, yeah, that's why I liked reading her story so much, but was Zoe as fucked up as her main character?

Hmmm. What about me? I put a lot of myself into my story, didn't I? Even if most of it was longing for people I'd never see again, the feelings behind it were all real. Basically, I wrote stories because that's how I processed everything I couldn't talk about out loud.
