SLYDAR

Cabin trips with the kids? Hella yes, let's do it all the time if we've got more adults than little 'uns. It was nonstop fun for everybody, and the kids slept like stones all night long while the parents rocked it in the shower, then in the bed. Yeah, it was a good time, and when my eyes opened just as the sky was barely turning light, and I felt both my kids' minds still quietly sleeping, I woke my wife up to show her a damn good time again.

She laughed as my cock pushed against her naked behind, and my fingers found her nipples. I didn't even bother pretending it was anything other than a seduction. I knew our time was limited 'cuz the kids could wake up any second, and I had plans. We'd had a good time in the shower, but spooning like this? It'd been awhile, and it was one of our favorite ways to wake up.

That's right Rory, you go on and snicker 'cuz I know how this is gonna go. I can already feel what your body wants as my lips work their way from the back of your ear down your neck, and my hands roam even further down. She moaned just like I knew she would, and I smiled against her skin.

Bastard. So smug, husband.

Fiesty this morning, eh, baby? Sure you aren't too tired? Wanna go back to sleep? You could shut your eyes—

She pushed against me making it clear I should shut up and get to it, so I did, making it good for both of us. Then she crawled on top of me so she could have a second go, and we both were panting when we heard the first telepathic hail.

It was Bitsy, and since she was the only one still in diapers, that made sense. So, I threw on pants and sent out the calming signal that Daddy was coming. The kids knew that signal, and it always made them quiet, but Switch and Lena'd already woken up too, so Rhianne was on her way to let her daughter know everything was okay even though they weren't at home in their usual rooms.

I got Bitsy situated in a clean didy, reminding her that today was gonna be a special day to wear just a tee shirt outside so she could wear big girl undies like Lena. Rory hadn't wanted to try potty training on day one since it was all too new, but she felt like Bitsy might be able to get it while we were at The Cabin, and I was game. No kids in diapers would be so awesome if we could swing it.

Bits was excited about this new adventure and the idea of real underpants, so who knew? Maybe a little peer pressure would be a good thing. Breakfast was basic oatmeal with raisins and cinnamon, then it was outside along the river again, and we got to try the diaper-free version of life for little Bitsy.

It didn't take her long to catch on, and she loved the celebration of eating cookies when she peed outside. So, step one of Rory's potty-training goals was achieved! Hooray! The day went on much like the one before, playing, gettin' splashed with river water, and returning to the blankets for picnic lunch. The kids took another long midday nap while we did chores, then we were back outside.

Susette wanted to have an outdoor cook out for dinner, so she and Rhianne set that up while the mirka Sal, Rory, and I watched the kids. It was late afternoon when things took a very unexpected turn. Sal was skipping around with Bitsy and Rory while Lena, Switch and I pushed boats down the creek.

Suddenly, Sal started chittering and running around in circles, and Susette came running over, excited. It all happened at once. Bitsy started squealing in that two-year-old laughter that would make even a stone giggle, and Rory erupted and couldn't stop. Switch and I saw exactly what had happened because it was ringing out on the mental plane for all telepaths to hear, but Lena just ran over to see what Sal was doing.

Bitsy held up a little blue and purple salamander, slimy but cute and said, "Dah, he's Ori!"

Cosmos above, it was the cutest thing I'd ever seen in my life. Little Ori in the palms of my tiny daughter's hands, and clearly, the two of them were bonded just like Susette and Sal.

"He's definitely Ori," Susette agreed.

"You can hear him?" Rory asked. "I can't. I don't really have a sense of him at all, do you Sly? Switch?"

My son and I shook our heads which made her laugh at us. The two of you are adorable, Rory snickered into our minds as Susette answered her question.

"It's not really hearing him, exactly. He's quite different from Sal, but he definitely wants to be with Bitsy in the same way, and he likes that she called him Ori. That's what I can tell from him: his happiness and contentment. He's not frightened of any of us because he knows he's safe with her. It's the sweetest, cutest thing in the world!"

Susette broke into giggles, and the rest of us joined in as Bitsy kissed the little critter's head and ran a finger down his back cooing at him.

"Well, Sly, looks like we gotta research salamander diets and accommodations because we've got a new family member."

We did that, but little Ori wasn't done surprising us. Want me to tell ya about it now? Well, I think it's better for ya to wait and get the whole story tomorrow from Rory. Don't worry, you'll like it. I mean, you've trusted me this far, so why stop now?
