SSS Ranked Taboo Student

Chapter 191: - Meeting Loli Again-

They exited the door and were back in the Provost office once more.

Shifting his eyes, Max found the desk empty and was barely able to hold back a cold smirk.

'She managed to walk away?' he thought, imagining the scene of a limping figure in his head.

However, just then—the Provost handed him a card. Her eyes unveiling a bit of villainous glint.

Glancing down at her outstretched hand, Max nodded as he took the card from her.

"Your dorm room key-card. It has nothing in it, submit a sample of your preferred structure design to have it refurbished." The Provost said in a dismissive tone as she walked towards her desk to sit.

Appreciating her back view for a moment, Max took his cue to leave her office.

And as for his proposed deal, he left it so, deciding to pay a visit later.

Click!

The door closed behind him.

Catching sight of the empty PA Desk with no one around, Max let out a low breath and his face revealed slight fatigue.

'That was tough.'

He thought, feeling relieved and was about to take a step forward when the Chims in his head halted him in his tracks.

[Ding Ding Ding!]

Following the distinct bells, a holographic screen popped up.

'New feature?'

After reading all the details on the holographic screen, the first thought that popped was the feature the System didn't specifically state.

Which was being able to preserve prompts.

Earlier right when he pulled out of Sloane he'd willed for the screen to disappear before it could appear due to the Provost who was waiting for him to be done.

However, he never expected it to prompt again.

'Without a quest, thirty-six times reward isn't as bountiful as it sounds.'

Max's eyes lingered on the stats points for a while before willing for the screen to disappear.

With no one to lead him, Max walked towards the elevator.

Enjoying the tranquil silence in the compact space while being aware of the hidden camera.

A few minutes passed and the doors slid open. Presenting the futuristic white hallways with few Elites walking by.

The moment he stepped out, Max felt several gazes land on him.

"It's Max."

"What a dude."

For a moment there were quiet whispers across the joint hallways. Staring at Max nonchalant back as he walked away, a few sighed.

In contrast to his new fame, Max struggled on which hallway he was to take to get to his sister's dorm. Alicia's rather.

Just as he pondered on which hallway to take, nonchalant to the glances he received every ten seconds or so.

"Hey."

A clear innocent, somewhat unsure voice suddenly called out to him from behind.

Drawing not just his attention, but that of the passersby Elites. Max turned to see who it was.

'Short frame, almost flat chest. Petite, She's even wearing ribbons?'

Max subconsciously repeated these same details in his head as he took in the appearance of the girl before him.

Just like he last saw her—her size, height… and chest remained the same.

'Zero growth?'

Apart from the small lump on her chest, there was nothing more distinct about her than her cuteness.

Unlike what the loli thought, Max vividly remembered their conversation.

"Do.. Do you remember me?"

Blushing, she asked, shyly looking up at him due to their height difference.

'The peeking loli from my bathroom escapade with the female instructor.'

"Yes." Max nodded, causing the petite girl to look stunned and bloom a vibrant smile the next instant.

"I knew it, I knew it was you."

As if to mock her other assumptions, she repeated the same words.

However, turning to see inquisitive eyes on her, she quickly flicked her only rails and lowered her voice.

"I saw your fight earlier and doubted if you were the one or you had a twin brother. Plus with so many senior Elites surrounding you I didn't think it was good to come over." highlighting the term senior Elites with a wink she smiled.

'Huh? Another form of Olivia?'

Staring down at her petite frame, Max briefly wondered about his troublesome cousins.

'Short girls are so stubborn.' Max thought.

"Are you free?"

Causing the loli to blush profusely, Max asked in a calm tone.

"Y.. yes."

Shyly avoiding his eyes, she replied.

"Can you show me how to get out of here? I'm done for the day—" He said, stopping halfway as he suddenly realised something.

"I don't know your name." Max said.

"Oh, you can call me Lily if it's that."

Apparently a little dismayed by the question since it wasn't what she expected, Lily swiped both of her ponytails.

"Cool."

That said, Max brought out his phone and sent Evelyn a text.

According to the Provost, he had no lesson today, the real deal would commence the next day.
