SSS Ranked Beast Tamer: My EP increases with girls

Chapter 240: CH 240

Tyler's curiosity had been piqued, and he had requested that the two kids be brought before him. Bob, ever the obedient servant, had instantly gone ahead to fetch the kids, bringing them to kneel before Tyler and the rest of the group. The kids' eyes were cast downward, their faces a mixture of fear and anticipation.

They spoke of how they had been ambushed along with the group they had gone with, and the people that had ambushed had killed everyone else except from them two. It was a lie, but they were making it up so they could get back at Anthony and the rest who had tortured them the first day they arrived there.

He also wanted to show them just how strong the master tyler he talked about was. They didn't believe his words when he said it, but if they were to see just how strong their master was, they'll come to realize that he was saying the truth.

Afterwards, they continued their story by revealing how they had been spared and taken to a casino base, where many survivors were staying. They were tortured greatly and were starved for days. Their voices trembled as they recounted their experiences, but they spoke clearly and concisely.

As they reached the part about their escape, one of the kids mentioned the mysterious figure who had helped them. "Someone among the people had helped us escape," they said, "He offered to help us out in return for joining your faction."

Tyler's interest was piqued, and he leaned forward, his eyes locked on the kids. "What is the name of this person?" he asked, his voice low and intense.

The kids hesitated for a moment before responding in unison, "Ajax." Tyler's expression remained neutral, but his mind was racing with possibilities.

The kids continued to explain, revealing the details of Ajax's plan. "He's willing to do anything for you," they said, "and he had even given us the details about the people who had captured us, they are known as the executives."

The kids' words spilled out in a rush, as if they were eager to prove their loyalty. "He also said that him and his mother were humiliated by the leader of the base and by these executive people. That he wants payback on them, while we can also take revenge on them, a win-win for both of us." The kid's words echoed Ajax's exact phrase, and Tyler's eyes narrowed, his mind whirling with the implications of this new alliance.

"Surprising," Tyler said, a hint of amusement dancing in his voice. "Someone who is willing to do anything for me." He leaned back in his chair, steepling his fingers together as he pondered the possibilities.

Max's eyes sparkled with curiosity, and he asked, "So, what will you do?"

Tyler's gaze flicked to the two kids, who were still kneeling on the floor. He held out his hand, and one of the kids hastily handed him a paper that outlined the details about the executives and the location of the base.

Tyler's eyes scanned the contents, his expression growing more interested by the second. The paper even showed the location of where the executives would be arriving the next day, and a plan began to form in his mind.

"It seems like a plan worth trying," Tyler said, a slow smile spreading across his face. "I love the taste of revenge, you know."

Tyler's eyes gleamed with excitement as he continued, "Let's deal with those executive people. I have no aim of taking over some useless casino."

With a flick of his wrist, Tyler handed the paper to Bob, who stood waiting with an expectant expression. "Send a group of strong men to bring these executives to me," Tyler instructed. "It seems the place is a bit far from here, so I want them gone first thing tomorrow morning. And make sure you do your job right this time."

Bob's face remained impassive, but a hint of determination crept into his voice as he replied, "Absolutely, sir." He bowed his head, the paper clutched tightly in his hand.

"As for these kids, feed them enough food," Tyler said, his voice softening slightly as he noticed their bruised faces. "They must have suffered so much over there."

Bob nodded in response, his expression sympathetic. He backed away from Tyler's presence, ready to carry out his master's orders. Since he was done talking, Bob took the cue to exit the room, gently grasping the two kids' arms and leading them out.

As they walked, Bob instructed one of his men to take the kids to the dining area and feed them a hearty meal. The kids' eyes lit up at the mention of food, and they followed Bob's man with a mixture of excitement and wariness.

Meanwhile, Bob turned to another one of his men and gave a low-voiced instruction. "Call off the search for the kids," he said. "Have everyone return back to the base."

The man nodded and quickly set off to relay the message, and Bob felt a sense of relief wash over him. At least one problem had been resolved, and he no longer had to worry about the two missing kids.

With a sense of purpose, Bob turned his attention to the task at hand. He decided to assemble the men who would be going on the operation to capture the executives the next day. He would make sure that everything was planned to perfection, and that the task was carried out without a hitch.

Bob's eyes narrowed as he thought about the mission, his mind racing with strategies and contingencies. He would see to it that the job was done properly, and that he didn't fail Tyler this time.

"Dave?" Tyler and Max chimed in unison, their voices overlapping in a comical harmony. The absurdity of the situation wasn't lost on them, and they burst into laughter, the sound echoing through the room. Tyler's eyes crinkled at the corners, and Max's shoulders shook with mirth.

Lily's face remained serious, her brow furrowed in concern. "Why will you dream of a dead man?" Tyler managed to choke out between chuckles. "Come on Lily, your dreams are wild."

Lily's gaze didn't waver, her eyes locked on her friends. "But it seems so real to me. I saw that he came here? What if he's still alive out there somewhere?"

Max's laughter began to subside, and he leaned forward, a patronizing smile on his face. "I doubt that is possible Lily, we all saw that meteor crash on him, and even us that were swept away by the force, we barely made it out alive. So how could Dave be alive?"

Tyler chimed in, his voice dripping with amusement. "And even if he was alive, he's no match to any one of us." His words were laced with confidence, and he ticked off the reasons on his fingers.

"First, we have powers now, I doubt he has any. And even if he has, it'll be some random weak power, maybe that beast taming thing that was mentioned by the television guy." He chuckled, a snort escaping his nose.

"Two, I'm the leader of a faction, before he could get here, he'll have to go through a series of strong individuals, which I'm sure he would have lost to the first person on the first trial. Just as he always loses in swimming back then in high school."

The room erupted into laughter again, with everyone joining in, including Lily. However, her laugh seemed forced, a thin-lipped smile plastered on her face. She knew what she saw in her dream – Tyler, Max, and everyone else present – but none of them were laughing in the dream. The memory sent a shiver down her spine, and she couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off.

Lily's mind was still reeling from the conversation, her thoughts consumed by the vivid images of her dream. And with how her dreams worked, she couldn't shake off the feeling that it might come true.

The fear lingered, making it hard for her to believe that Dave had indeed died that day. The thought of him being alive was almost too much to bear, and she wondered what it would mean for their lives if he was indeed alive.

Just then, someone walked into the room, their voice carrying across the space as they asked, "What's the dream about?" The group's discussion about Dave and Lily's dream had caught their attention, and they seemed curious. Lily's friends turned to her, expectant gazes waiting for her response.

Lily shrugged, trying to downplay the significance of the dream. "It's nothing much, just about Dave appearing here," she said, her tone casual.

The newcomer's eyes lit up with interest. "Appearing here to do what?" he asked, settling into an empty chair.

Lily's patience was wearing thin, and she let out a slightly annoyed sigh. "Like I said, I just saw him appear. That's all, end of discussion," she said, her voice firm but polite.

The fellow held up his hands in mock defense, a grin spreading across his face. "Okay, fine. Angry girl," he said, before turning his gaze to the rest of the group.
