SSS Class Necromancer

After the celebratory mood has passed, Kenji was still not satisfied, he still had to clear the cave. Celebration has to be put to hold for now. The palpable feeling of things not yet finished and it was just the start. More things would still happen.

He immediately prepared to delve in deeper. Merlin's floating lights were dimming out. Making him to cast another one.

The two then arrived at the dividing path which has left and right road. The two went to the cavern on the left side first where they would face the Rotten undead.

As far as Kenji has remembered, they have an elite one into their ranks. A rotten undead that has ice resist and high damage. Though it has slow attack speed like the norm.

But fret not! The enemy has ice damage too in which Kenji did not have resistance. All in all, it would be a disadvantaged fight with them. Also, he was already panting.

And so, he finally made adjustments. Equipping the Drain skill, he would use the soul fire in range and then used drain while having distance. Perfect!

He immediately went towards their location in which has dead bodies scattered around them.

They were slouching and moves slowly but were groaning. They had a sense of detection far better than the imps as they could sense life as a skill.

Kenji equipped the wand and then tried to attack. They were seven all in all and would be a hassle if you got surrounded by them.

Whoosh! Whoosh whoosh!

Three soul fire was fired and it struck the Rottens. To his surprise, they were more resilient and hardy than normal enemies.

Taking 4 to 5 soul fire just to kill one. Making it a hard fought battle. Also, his Mana would used up with all them now attacking him. Kenji then used drain on them but it was slow to steal Mana and stamina. Also, the toll to use the skill was huge. He could feel that his head was aching for a bit in just seconds of using the skill.

He has stolen 20 Mana and stamina for 2 seconds. Making it enough for another round of soul fire. But to his disappointment, he has to fire 10 of them and he was empty again.

Such heavy and taxing play style. And so, he immediately switched to melee, he dashed and swung the sword and it frozen the enemy on the spot. Slashing on the other 3 that survived the soul fire and then hitting them on a second interval.

The rotten elite was resistant but he was not resistant of the physical damage. Making it slashed several times. But on Kenji's blunder, he was hit once by the elite and he was frozen and slowed.

Making Merlin to pull him out of their attack range. Kenji was dragged like a statue and was freezing.

"What are you thinking?" He questioned quite angered.

"I'm sorry," Kenji was panting. He stood up while shivering after the freezing effect was up. He was gritting his teeth while slowed a bit.

Merlin, pulled his sleeves upward and then said, "Let me handle this,"

He went towards the enemies and threw fireball left and right. Exploding fire magic was left them in shattering motion. Making them stagger with every hit.

The rotten elite was also one of the most damaged. Making it groan again with every explosion.

It was then, Kenji summoned a Skeleton and it rose from the corpse of the fallen Rotten undead. Making it's burning eyes to glow in the dark.

It looked at Kenji and with just a thought, he commanded it to attack the enemies. It ran towards the fray and with the same tactics that the summoner used, it slashed triple times in a second. Making it show how the summoner was fast in its speed and power. Kenji was surprised by his summon's prowess, making him think that it was the same move he used to the Master Devil recently.

It immediately ran and slashed while rotating. Making the rotten to be felled with another strike from its weapon.

The Elite one then struck him and it was frozen, making Kenji to dash and make a comeback. He has to assist his summon to be victorious. He slashed twice in a second and the skeleton blocked its attack as a tank and Kenji did the damage dealing part. Also, Merlin used flames to burn the enemy while on the back. Assisting when he could see some chances to throw fireball at the enemy.

With their coordination, the enemies were felled by their attacks. The skeleton was the one who made the last hit, making the enemy's head rolled on the floor.

"Yes! Good job!" Kenji shouted.

The skeleton was silent and Merlin made a thumbs up to him.

With it, Kenji decided to spend his skill point on the Reaper skills which was the Vitals Stealer.

Vitals Stealer – steals 1 HP, MP, SP per enemy and will be added to your vitals stats. Has 1 hour cool down and last half a minute.

"This skill would greatly enhance my Health points, Mana points and Stamina points. It would be a matter of time when I could Tank if it was more on Health. A slaughterer if I have stamina and Caster if Mana. It would be a growth skill that could revolutionize my play!" He muttered.

As for Merlin, he chose the Elementalist mage–Fire specialist path that focuses on damage. So that he could support Kenji on the back. As for his other skill paths, it would be Telekinesis or Spatial. Ethereal and Illusionist were not his forte. Conjuration was also a special case.

And so the two went back to the right side of cavern which was heading to the Master of this cave–which were the Brutes.

Making Kenji thought that he would be challenging a more perilous battle and dreadful enemy. Looking at his summon, he was relieved with its determined eyes glowing for him to show its determination. A low-key but raging in its form and essence.
