SSS-Class MILFs And Their Yandere Daughters, I Want Them All!

Chapter 160: Her King, Her Saviour And Her Very Obsession

Adam gagged on the smell, turning his face away from the sickening sizzle of flesh. His voice trembled.

"Thomas...d-did I really just see that? Did she really...kill someone? Right here? On Academy grounds? Was that an execution?"

Thomas, too, had a hand pressed to his mouth, eyes half-closed as if warding off the sight. The reek was unbearable, and even he couldn't stomach the grotesque bubbling ruin of what had been the boy's face.

Yet despite it, a crooked, bitter smile pulled at his lips.

"No." He said slowly, voice low. "Not at all. He's not dead."

Adam snapped his head toward him, outrage flashing. "What do you mean he's not dead?! Half his face is melted off! Anyone would die from that!"

"Normally, yes." Thomas's smirk deepened, though his gaze was still averted from the scene. "But this isn't normal, Adam. That's Anya you're talking about. She's using her blessing on him, at the same time it burns him."

"His flesh melts, and she regrows it. His bones char, and she reknits them. His lips dissolve, his jaw falls apart, and in the same breath she's stitching it all back. Over and over."

"Do you understand? He won't die. He can't die. She won't let him."

Adam's stomach dropped. His skin went cold.

"That's...That's not mercy, that's torture! She's torturing him! Keeping him alive just to burn him again and again! Why?! Why would she do something like this?!"

His voice cracked into a shout, his face twisted in horror.

"No one deserves that! Not even him! Not even if he started this mess! That's...that's monstrous!"

His chest heaved. He turned back, eyes wild.

"And why him anyway?! Mika was the one who shattered their knees! So why in the world is she going after that boy while Mika stands there untouched?!"

Thomas finally looked at him, really looked, his smirk curling into something almost pitying. He let a beat of silence stretch, then said in a low voice,

"Because the boy made one fatal mistake. If he'd kept his mouth shut, let Anya drag Charlotte off, this would've ended the way the mob wanted. Charlotte punished, case closed. But no...he had to say it was Mika. He had to call him out. And the moment he did…" Thomas shook his head with a mirthless chuckle. "…his fate was sealed."

Adam reeled back, words tumbling out in disbelief.

"Just because he said Mika's name? Just because of that?...Why would she, why would anyone, react like this over something so small?!"

Thomas chuckled again, softer now, like he pitied Adam's innocence.

"I told you before, didn't I? There's one person in this whole damned world who can do anything, anything at all, and Anya will look the other way."

"One person she would never punish, no matter how grave the crime."

"One person that you say one bad word against and she'll make your live a living nightmare."

He tilted his head toward the calm figure standing amidst the parted crowd.

"That person...is Mika."

Adam's throat went dry. His mind refused to make sense of it.

"Mika…? You're saying...she's doing this, all of this, because of him? H-How does that make any sense?"

Thomas let out a mirthless laugh. "You think it makes sense to us? To anyone? No...But it's the truth."

"For some reason, call it obsession, call it devotion, Mika is her soft spot. Her reverse scale. The one weight she won't tip against."

"Doesn't matter what sin he commits. Anya will bend every rule, cover every trace, even kill for him if she has to...Hell, if Mika slaughtered an entire classroom in front of her, she'd clean the blood off the floor herself."

Adam's face drained of color. "She'd even, she'd even cover for him against her own mother?"

"Even against the Battle Angel herself. " Thomas nodded before going on to say, "You see in her eyes, everyone else in the world is bound by her laws. Everyone...except Mika."

"To her, he's untouchable. Her king. And anyone stupid enough to demand punishment for him, anyone who even spits on his name…"

He gestured toward the boy's sizzling, regenerating flesh.

"They get this."

Adam's hands trembled. "So...all of this...it's all because of him. Because of Mika…"

"Yes." Thomas smirked, almost pitying. "As absurd as it sounds, that boy is the luckiest bastard alive. Not just the affection of one daughter of a Battle Angel, but the obsession of another. One loves him, one would burn the world for him. Blessed doesn't even begin to cover it."

Adam staggered back, dizzy, sick, and yet...shaken to his core. His idol, Anya, the perfect figure of discipline and justice, wasn't what he thought she was.

She was terrifyingly human. And all because of one boy.

A thought then wormed into his mind, trembling on his lips. "If people know...if they know she protects Mika...then why would they ever provoke him? Why not just go for Charlotte instead?"

Thomas's smirk widened, his voice low.

"That's because most don't know, since Anya usually covers up such matters involving him perfectly. Every witness silenced, every trace erased."

"You'll see yourself, as by the time we leave this room, one of her secretaries will come." He went on to say about Anya's usual cover up. "She'll make sure you and I don't breathe a word of this. Their blessing is perfect for it—making anyone they wish bind to a mental vow that they won't speak of this matter to anyone."

"So, by tomorrow, even though you would want to say everything to your friends, you wouldn't be able to...No matter how much you want to take it off your chest, you won't be able to.

"That's why the Academy mostly consists of students that aren't towards the things that he's done, while the rest of them know of it but can't speak of it...And also why even though there are so many rumours of Mika floating here and there, there's no official record of the matter."

Adam's chest tightened, as he realised why even though there were so many rumours surrounding Mika, no action was taken to handle him and it was all because of Anya.

But the another question propped up in his mind as he looked at Thomas with a suspicious gaze.

"Then...how do you know, Thomas? How do you know all this and how are you telling this all to me, when you shouldn't be able to leak such information."

Hearing this question, Thomas looked him dead in the eyes.

"Because I've found a way around it. A loophole. Me, and a few others...No oath cab bind us." He leaned closer, almost whispering. "But you, Adam? You won't. So, by the time this is done, you'll have your mouth sealed up tight. You'll never be able to speak of it again."

The horror of that truth settled in Adam's gut like stone. Thomas, meanwhile, only smirked, his lips curling into that devious grin Adam was beginning to fear.

"In fact..." Thomas said cooly, his voice low. "...the very reason Mika has so many rumors swirling around him, even while Anya covers everything up perfectly, is because people like me make sure those rumors spread."

His eyes gleamed with amusement, like a cat toying with a cornered mouse.

"That's why his reputation is so foul, even though the real records, the real evidence, are all erased. A balance, you might say. Her cover-ups...and my whispers."

Adam froze, realization dawning like ice water spilling down his spine. His lips parted in shock as he took a step back, staring at Thomas not like a friendly upperclassman anymore, but like something alien, something dangerous.

"W-Who...who exactly are you?" Adam's voice cracked. The words felt scraped from his throat.

But Thomas only smiled wider, offering no answer. His gaze drifted casually back to Anya at the front, as though Adam had never spoken.

Adam's pulse thundered in his ears. This wasn't right. Something was very, very wrong.

And he blinked.

But in that single blink, shockingly—Thomas was gone.

Not a sound, not a trace, not even the warmth of his presence left behind. Just empty air where he had been standing a heartbeat ago.

Adam staggered, looking wildly around, his horror doubling.

Had he just walked into some plot?

Had he been speaking with someone who wasn't even truly there?

The realization hollowed him out. His chest felt tight, his gut heavy as stone.

Whatever he had just witnessed...whoever Thomas really was...he had no doubt that he was tangled in something far, far bigger than he could understand...
