SSS Awakening: Rebirth of the Strongest Vampire God

Chapter 419: Vampire supremacy, baby!

While Damon lay collapsed in the cave, steam still curling from his skin and the faint glow of crimson-gold light pulsing around him, the rest of the group didn't waste time. The others busied themselves and started working on clearing the monsters from the nearby areas.

Though they did not encounter anything troublesome like the murder of the crow demons, they did encounter a couple of powerful level 120 demons. However, when the group worked together on these demons, it was taken care of in no time.

Soon, hours ticked by, and Kate and Mark finally received a progress notification on their portal. After successfully defending the portal for so long, it looked like the area had finally stabilized. They promptly received an outpost quest.

[Ding! The portal has stabilized.]

[Ding! New Outpost Quest Unlocked.]

Kate nudged Mark, who was staring at the same notification. "It's official," she said, a smile tugging at her lips despite the exhaustion in her voice. "The portal's stabilized."

Mark grinned, his massive frame still slick with demon blood. "About damn time." He swiped open the quest details, and a new interface unfurled before both of them:

[Ding! Outpost Quest:]

Objective 1: Secure permanent defenses around the stabilized portal.

Objective 2: Become a leader recognized by both the system and local forces.

Objective 3: Declare the outpost under the banner of your faction.

With this, their small corner of the Bloodlands would be cemented, and no guild or raid group could overwrite it without first fighting them for it.

Kate turned to Damon's cave and wondered how things were going on his end. Mark followed her gaze. "When he comes out, we'll tell him. He should be the one to take the quest and become the leader of the outpost."

Mmm. Kate absent-mindedly answered. She had half a mind to go over there and see how things were going. She had heard from some merpeople that using blood coral was an extremely painful process, and she couldn't help but be worried about Damon.

"He's been in there for hours. What if something went wrong?"

Mark set a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "Relax. That guy's a monster. Besides, even if we go there, it's not like we can be of any help."

Kate bit her lips in frustration. She hated this feeling, being useless, being left behind while Damon wrestled with powers she couldn't even comprehend. Her knuckles whitened as she tightened her grip on her staff. "I know," she muttered, forcing the word out through clenched teeth.

Her gaze lingered one last time on the faint crimson-gold glow seeping out of the cave mouth before she turned sharply on her heel. "Let's go," she said. Without waiting for Mark's reply, she started into the forest to find more demonic creatures, her staff sweeping low, ready to strike.

Mark smirked faintly, watching her back. "Fine," he said with a smile, falling in step beside her. "Let's go hunt some demons. No sense sitting around waiting."

Meanwhile, back in the light faction continent…

The entire playerbase was going crazy. Loreta City became the talk of the world overnight. Several top players and guilds ventured into the abyssal zone only to come back in despair and dread.

The zone wasn't just hostile, it was a nightmare. Monsters respawned faster than they could be culled, resources were scarce, and the very environment itself seemed to want to kill them. Entire raid parties returned half-dead, equipment broken, and morale shattered. Some never came back at all.

However, the top guilds simply couldn't sit still. They knew that there had to be some way, and they couldn't stop trying. This was because while everyone else had utterly failed to accomplish anything, only losing their levels and items, one person alone had completely dominated the zone.

While everyone else was in misery, a golden system notification flashed in front of the entire world.

[Ding! World Announcement: Player Blood God has become the first player to reach level 100]

[Ding! World Announcement: Player Blood God has become the first player to reach level 100]

[Ding! World Announcement: Player Blood God has become the first player to reach level 100]

Every single player in the world glared at these words with a mixture of disbelief, rage, and awe. All the chats erupted with disgruntled players who had gone through hell in the abyssal zone.

[Noobkiller]: "This guy is definitely cheating. There is no way someone reached level 100 so easily."

[Dark Cleric]: "Fuck. I just entered Loreta, and my level dropped from 50 to 30 before I was finally able to get out. What kind of bullshit is this?"

[Rusty]: "Blood God is cheating. That asshole knows some trick he is not sharing with us. Otherwise, there is no way he would be able to survive in that hellhole! I was killed ten times in a row, damn it. I am just happy I got the fuck out of there."

[Mage Queen]: "Battle Crusaders, Titans of the New World, Azure Serpents, Black Onyx, everyone came back in ruins. There was no way Blood God alone could have succeeded. That bastard is doing something shady!"

[Daddy Brutal]: "Bah! Now only you guys recognized it. He has been cheating in this game right from the very beginning!"

[SwordSaint]: LOL, all of you crying about cheats when you just suck.

[TitanBreaker]: Shut it! My guild spent three days inside Loreta. THREE DAYS. We couldn't even clear the first wave of abyss beasts. You think one man could just… walk through? Bullshit.

[BloodLover69]: HAHAHA. Vampire supremacy, baby! Our god ascends! Praise Blood God!

[Salty Priest]: Fuck you bitch!

[Mage Queen]: Double fuck you! All you vampires can go and die!

Guild masters smashed things around them in frustration. Forum threads exploded into riots of speculation and slander. Some accused Damon of hacking. Others talked about hidden quests, broken exploits, or Game Master favoritism, whoever the fucking Game Master was.

But the truth, the cold truth that no one could deny, was simple. He had done it, and they hadn't.

The gap between them had now become a chasm.

Top guilds that had bled thousands of gold coins and hundreds of hours in the abyssal zone had nothing to show for it but broken armor and wounded pride. Yet Blood God, a single player, had not only survived but thrived, climbing to the peak they hadn't even been able to glimpse.

However, one person alone smiled in amusement as he watched the world announcement system notification flash and disappear in front of him.
