SSS Awakening: Rebirth of the Strongest Vampire God

Chapter 415: You lucky bastard

Kate and Damon were once again teleported back into the game world, the flicker of system light fading as the familiar atmosphere of Earth Online surrounded them. Her feet barely touched the ground before she staggered slightly, clutching her waist with a wince.

"I can't believe we did that for an entire log-out session," she gasped, still half dazed, though the mana around them made her feel a lot better. Her eyes swept the horizon, widening as she realized just how much had changed in their absence.

The merpeople had done a wonderful job of clearing up all of the blood and gore and restoring the seashore to its earlier scenic state. Moreover, it looked like they were all packing up.

"Huh? Where are they going?" Kate asked.

"They are moving closer to the portal so that they can keep an eye on things."

Kate was about to say something when she instead got distracted by her system interface. Meanwhile, Ellora and Erin noticed Damon's presence and hurriedly walked over to him to update him on everything.

Not aware of the new entries, Kate suddenly blurted out as her head snapped towards Damon, eyes wide. "Damon, I gained 5 stat points! 2 in strength, 2 in intelligence, and 1 in agility. It says here that I consumed an elixir, and I know I did not drink anything except for your… your…"

Kate flushed red and looked away when she finally saw two other faces. Ellora, with a knowing smirk, and Erin, looking curious.

"My lady, do you by any chance mean our Lord's blood, or do you mean his-"

Kate nearly choked. "T-that's not—!" She waved her hands wildly. "Don't get the wrong idea!" She then realized Ellora herself had given her a way out of this hole she had dug for herself. "His blood. I mean his blood. You are correct." Kate quickly did a double-take and tried to save face.

Damon raised a brow. "Are you sure?" He then nicked the tip of his finger and controlled his poison essence so that his blood was not deadly. "Here. Try some more and see."

Kate gulped. The three in front of her were looking at her in a serious mode, not understanding her situation. Sure, there might be a chance that it was his blood, but she damn well knew that it was something else. No wonder she had felt so good when she had been doing that thing and drinking all of him. Now she understood everything.

"It's fine. Just drink some. The effects outside the game are actually not that much because I don't know how many of my abilities are active. In here, all the effects should be even higher. That reminds me. Here, drink this health potion as well."

Damon also took out another top-tier health potion and handed it to Kate casually. Since she was being so conscious, Damon also collected his blood in a vial and handed it to her like it was another potion.

Kate's eyes darted between his blood collected in a vial and the health potion. Her cheeks began heating up more. Seeing him being all serious and gentle like this made her tingly all over again.

"Fuck my life." She groaned, grabbed the two bottles, and downed them one after the other. Counting on the odds that she was wrong, she waited and waited, but nothing happened. If only she could dig herself a bigger hole…

Seeing the three pairs of expectant gazes, she swallowed, looked down, mustered all the courage she possibly could, and slowly spoke. "It's not the blood."

"Huh?" Damon was confused. "It's not the blood? Then what else could it be?" He seemed genuinely perplexed. Kate looked at the guy with an exasperated expression.

Among the three, Ellora was the first to grasp the meaning, and the vampire's eyes directly landed on Damon's lower half. "My lady… You mean…" Ellora gulped as she wantonly looked at a specific part. As someone who had been stuck at C rank for so long, she couldn't help but want some for herself. She licked her lips subconsciously, her gaze very obvious.

Damon finally understood what the two were talking about. "Are you serious?" He too was surprised but pleased. "Cough. Cough. You're telling me my essence… works as an elixir."

Kate looked at the stupid grin on his face and wanted the sea to swallow her whole. "I am going to go see what is happening there!" She blurted out something and ran to the other side, where a bunch of merwomen were casting some magic.

"Why is my sister running like that? And why does she look like someone fed her through a two-hole punching machine and forgot to take her out?"

Damon smirked. He then proudly turned towards Mark and declared, puffing his chest out. "Dude, I have a golden dick apparently."

Unexpectedly, there was no shock or surprise on Mark's face. Instead, the guy was also smirking lightly.

Damon's grin faltered. "Wait. Titan lineage… don't tell me... fuck, is yours literally golden?"

Mark only shrugged, unbothered, offering no confirmation.

"You lucky bastard." Damon grimaced, shaking his head.

Mark gestured toward the distance where the burly merman leader waited patiently, trident in hand. "Anyway… looks like the tribe leader's been waiting for you."

"Heh. Finally, time to collect my rewards." Damon rubbed his palms together and strode toward the merman, excitement glinting in his crimson eyes.

There were many things yet to be discussed, and now that he had given them all some time to rest and recover from all the shocking events, there was no point in delaying things any longer.

"You honor us with your presence, Lord of Blood," the merman rumbled. "The Shoals breathe freely again because of you. Our kin are safe, our young unharmed. Already, we are rebuilding what was broken."

Damon nodded. "Good. It looks like you've wasted no time. Let me know if you need any more help."

The merman bowed and shook his head. "My Lord, my Lady Ellora, and my Lady Erin have already been helping us by taking care of all of the powerful beasts in the vicinity. Any more help would only result in our weakness."
