Splitting the Heavens

Chapter 1940: 4.5 Sages?

At the very moment when the Essence Luxuriant Heavenly Field's fleet, consisting of one super Star Ship, eight large Star Ships, one Spirit Ark, and over 30 medium-sized vessels, dragged two complete Spirit Worlds out of the void current, everyone who had been watching in secret turned to flee faster than they had ever moved in their lives.

There was only one thought on their minds. They had to relay the information back to their respective powers as fast as possible. They absolutely could not allow those two complete Spirit Worlds to be taken from the Original Stars Corner by some unknown power!

After all, those were two Spirit Worlds they were talking about!

On board the super Star Ship, Shang Xia stood side by side with his External Avatar on the deck, gazing out at the distant void of the Original Stars Corner.

"As expected, there really were people watching us. It's impossible for our fleet to completely evade surveillance in the Original Stars Corner." Shang Xia's External Avatar sighed, not surprised, then looked toward his true body. "You should have made a move just now. If you had, at least half of those hidden in the void could've been wiped out. That way, news about the Spirit Worlds wouldn't have spread so quickly."

Shang Xia chuckled, "What difference would it make? Unless every one of them was eliminated, the information would eventually leak anyway. From here to the Heaven Observation Star Region, even if everything goes smoothly, we'll need at least a month of travel. That's more than enough time for them to alert every major faction in the Chaotic Sea of Stars."

Shang Xia's External Avatar sighed again. "So we're destined to clash head-on with other powers during this trip?"

Shang Xia chuckled, "That depends on whether they have the ability to do so... And if they can actually form a proper alliance."

His External Avatar shot him a surprised glance, seemingly amazed by his sheer confidence. It also seemed like he had guessed something and couldn't help but ask, "Be honest. Aside from creating rank seven Formation Talismans and comprehending the secret art of solidifying origin qi, are you still hiding your breakthrough?"

Shang Xia merely smiled without answering.

His External Avatar gave a cold little chuckle and muttered, "I knew it..."

Once the Star Ship fleet and the Spirit Worlds had completely escaped the void current and left the affected area, the speed of the fleet gradually began to increase.

Even though Shang Xia had just demonstrated great confidence, the fleet still adopted concealment measures whenever possible to minimize potential trouble.

As their speed stabilized, one after another, protection barriers lit up around the ships with brilliant radiance. The lights spread and merged, forming a massive shield that encompassed nearly the entire fleet. Gradually, dozens of Star Ships began to fade from view, vanishing into the dark void.

Of course, their method of concealment wasn't especially advanced. A Martial Dipper Realm cultivator in close proximity could still easily spot the spatial ripples caused by the fleet's movement, or even detect the disturbance through their senses.

Still, the vastness of the sea of stars meant that even simple concealment measures were often enough to avoid detection by most observers.

The real challenge wasn't to hide the seemingly enormous fleet. It was the two even more massive Spirit Worlds being dragged behind it.

Fortunately, the cultivators and beasts of both worlds had their own methods of hiding the presence of their world in the void.

Admittedly, it wasn't easy.

But for worlds that had long stood within the void currents of the spatial vortex, simply masking their heavenly screens was often enough to avoid detection by weaker Stargazers.

Moreover, neither the fleet from the Essence Luxuriant Heavenly Field nor the Spirit Worlds had ever believed they could completely avoid trouble with such tactics.

Their goal was only to delay and minimize potential problems.

Yet, as time passed and they neared the edge of the Original Stars Corner, the expected troubles still hadn't arrived. Not even a minor raid aimed at slowing the fleet's progress had occurred.

That said, along the route, there were occasional sightings of small, fast Star Ships designed for reconnaissance.

Those scouting ships were extremely cautious, keeping to safe distances and rarely approaching for close observation.

"As expected, these methods can't fool them. They've been tracking us the whole time."

Shang Xia's External Avatar criticized the concealment formations as a waste of energy and resources, tying up both the fleet's strength and the attention of Formation Masters.

Shang Xia smiled and replied casually, "At the very least, they don't know what we're really capable of. That uncertainty might cause them to make mistakes."

He continued, "Back when we emerged, the massive spatial disturbance must have distorted their vision and detection methods. Maybe they could tell that multiple Star Ships emerged, but they likely couldn't distinguish the exact types or count. They sensed the presence of the two Spirit Worlds, but knew nothing of their actual state."

His External Avatar curled his lip and grunted, "So what? In the end, we've only got one Sage. Even if your strength is approaching the high-level Seven Star Realm, how many Sages can you really handle if they really join forces?"

Shang Xia shot him a strange look. "What do you mean only me? Don't sell yourself short. You're also a formidable Sage now. Plus, we have the Ying Brothers and the Giant Ape King. Technically speaking, this fleet hides four experts with Sage-level strength!"

His External Avatar looked stunned and was about to respond when Shang Xia suddenly remembered something and added, "Oh, right, don't forget Huang Jinghan, who carries Patriarch Kou's Hidden Frost Sword. Although his sword style differs from the patriarch's, with the Hidden Frost Sword in hand, he can still unleash power far superior than others of the same level. He can be considered half a Sage."
