SPIDER-MAN

Peter tried to crawl away before being stamped on by Vulcan as he loomed over him, his eyes glowing orange. Peter could just clench his fists and close his eyes as he anticipated his own death. Peter could only hate himself for being so weak and not being able to keep his promise. His uncle died because of him and is now a close friend.

Peter could just hear a metallic crash, followed by the sounds of Vulcan's energy beams. Peter opened his eyes as he saw Vulcan's face being directed away by a certain shield. 

"You did good, kid!" said Capt from down the street, catching his shield as it ricocheted back.

Peter started to rise back to his feet, feeling hope once more as Vulcan pointed his palm towards him, ready to eviscerate him.

A powerful scream came from behind Vulcan as an orange tail wrapped itself around Vulcan's arm, pulling the beam away from Peter, followed by a set of claws piercing through Vulcan's throat.

Vulcan grabbed his throat as blood spewed out, drenching his hand and the ground while he used his captured hand to grab Tigra's tail and throw her into the ground.

Peter was finally back on his feet as he dashed to help Tigra, who struggled to move. 

"Who do you think I am? I am Vulcan, king of the mutants, and I shall not falter here! I should have known to not have sympathy in war; don't expect mercy from me anymore!" yelled Vulcan, his voice muffled by the stream of blood that came from his throat. The more he talked, the clearer his voice became as the wound closed, leaving only the stains of his blood as proof he was even hurt in the first place.

Capt threw his shield at Vulcan once more, who caught it with one hand before throwing it towards Peter, who bent backwards to dodge it as the shield became embedded in the concrete.

Vulcan pointed his palm at Peter and Tigra as Capt reached for his side. Peter webbed up the shield, bringing it towards him and wielding it towards Vulcan as the beam of energy deflected off into the sky. 

Capt started to fire his gun at Vulcan, who shook off the bullets like it was nothing as Vulcan pointed his hand towards Capt. Peter webbed Vulcan's arm and pulled as the beam of energy shot out and was almost touching his face. 

"I didn't think this through!" he yelled over the sound of the beam of energy.

Vulcan stopped his beam and tugged at the web, pulling Peter towards him and grabbing his wrist. Before Peter could do anything, Vulcan launched him through the nearby building, all while Tigar managed to muster the strength to stand and throw Capt's shield back to him.

Vulcans looked at Tigra before being hit by a manhole cover at the back of his head. He turned around to see Peter swinging over the building and webbing Tigra up towards him, carrying her to safety. 

Vulcan's eyes glowed once more before disappearing among the smoke of a cluster of explosions as a suit of armour flew past and landed next to Capt. 

"How the hell did you get here before me?" asked Tony.

"I'm just faster," replied Capt. 

"My suit can go up to 100 MPH; I think it's faster," replied Tony.

"Talk back to me when your suit is actually better than mine," retorted Capt. 

"Look who's all cocky now he got his shield back," replied Stark.

"You saw that?" said Capt.

A beam of energy shot towards him as Capt stood in front of Tony with his shield up and deflected the beam.

From the smoke stepped Vulcan with half his face and torso blown away and scorched before his body grew back to normal. 

"I must be seeing things," said Tony in shock.

"I wish that was the case," replied Capt.

"You bicker like children; are you really the best The Avengers has to offer?" mocked Vulcan.

"You wouldn't be saying that if the green guy was here," replied Tony.

"Are you two usually like this?" questioned Peter as he dropped down next to them.

"Focus on the fight, kid!" replied Tony as Peter looked back at Vulcan, annoyed but obedient.

"I'll take the right, Spider-Man will take the left, and Tony, you take the air!" ordered Capt. "Let's get shit done," he added.

"Aye, Aye captain." joked Tony.

Tony started his thrusters, and he started to float in the air before flying into the air and then changing course towards Vulcan while Peter and Capt ran head-in. 

Vulcan looked up, his eyes glowing orange, before his vision became blocked with some webbing. "Good shot, kid," said Capt as Vulcan used his hands to tear the web away with ease before being sacked by a shield. 

Vulcan pointed his arm towards Capt, who caught his shield and started to guard himself before quickly changing it towards Peter and firing a beam of energy. Peter jumped over the beam as Tony fired an array of missiles at Vulcan that landed, causing massive damage. 

While Vulcan continued to regenerate, Tony continued to unload a spray of bullets at him as Peter and Capt closed the gap.

Vulcan ripped off a car door before lobbing it straight at Tony, hitting him directly and making his suit wobble throughout the air as he tried to stabilise.

Vulcan then launched a beam of energy towards Capt, who slid across the ground and slammed his shield into Vulcan's knee, causing him to kneel. Capt got back to his feet and slammed his shield at Vulcan again, this time across the neck.

Vulcan eyes glowed orange again as he turned backwards to look at Capt before being punched across the face by Peter as his beam went through the building next to him before fading.

"Get out of the way, I'm putting an end to this!" yelled Tony, standing a few meters ahead of Vulcan directly, his arc reactor spinning rapidly while growing. 

Peter webbed himself and Capt out of the way as a beam of light blue energy raged towards Vulcan, who countered with his own. A Clash of energy happened between them, and it seemed Vulcan was pushing Tony's back to Tony's surprise.

Vulcan then grinned before stopping his attack and allowing Tony's arc reactor beam to hit him. Vulcan groaned in pain as the beam sent excruciating pain across his body before coming to a stop.

Tony's arc reactor slowed down, coming to a stop as he looked confused at Vulcan, who seemed unfazed, before he stood up tall once more.

"Thanks for the boost," said Vulcan, his eyes glowing blue.
