In the superspace of the star system where the Pirate Space Station is located.

The Dusk Fleet's teleportation engine activation was at its final moment, and the fleet led by Defender-class cruisers from the Sinda Corporation barely arrived.

They were unable to stop it, only watching as the Dusk Fleet departed, and shifted their focus to other parts of superspace.

After contacting the remaining corporate fleet in superspace and investigating the previous events, the cruiser captain and commander immediately transmitted the entire situation inside the star system back to the company headquarters.

In the top-floor meeting room of the headquarters building, a meeting that should have ended long ago, all the board members were still gathered here, waiting for the results.

On the screen in the conference room, the image of the Defender cruiser captain was displayed.

The chairman listened to the captain's explanation of the situation in superspace, and although he felt somewhat anxious inside, he maintained a calm expression and asked the captain, "What do you mean by saying a Ruler-class from the military might have been taken out by Dusk's cruiser? I need information on Chen Ming."

The Defender captain slightly lowered his head in response to the chairman's question and said, "According to information provided by the surviving cow herder captain, Chen Ming did indeed enter this superspace channel."

"But after our search, we only found part of the Ruler's wreckage within the channel."

"We found no remnants of any mining ship, nor were there any traces left."

"Considering the situation when we first arrived at the target location and only saw a Dusk Fleet that was already in the final stage of teleportation."

"We can only speculate that Dusk took out the Ruler pursuing Chen Ming, but we cannot be one hundred percent certain about what happened afterward."

The chairman's gaze lingered on the captain for a moment before saying, "Leave some ships to continue searching, and have other ships handle the rescue operations. The military will surely send ships over later; contact me then."

"Yes."

The screen was turned off.

The other directors in the conference room turned their gaze back to the chairman.

The chairman cleared his throat slightly and said, "First, let's rule out the possibility that Chen Ming was taken out by Dusk, and the entire ship was obliterated."

"Although Chen Ming's ship was a civilian mining ship retrofitted, it's confirmed that he mixed White Cloud Steel into the materials."

"This material cannot be directly annihilated even when faced with an attack from a Speed Particle Spear, so we can rule out this possibility."

A director followed the chairman's line of thought and said, "Then there's only one possibility left: Dusk took Chen Ming away."

Another director agreed, saying, "I think this possibility is indeed very high."

"We already discussed Chen Ming's potential before, didn't we? He has the ability to control all ships, and Dusk Spaceships are still ships."

The chairman's statement received approval from several directors.
