Mini-Chapter 6: Grass Gods.

POV: Grass-blade-God 304827

I looked carefully at my most important possession; My single grass blade.

I don't know why I and all of the other Grass-blade-Gods exist, But the commonly thought reason for it is that grass blades are somehow sapient and have hundreds of times the faith of regular humans. After all, every single blade of grass had its own god.

To be honest, I like my life. And yes, I do mean 'life' as in I will die; Because when that blade of grass dies, the faith holding me together will fall apart. In all concepts, I am mortal; And yet I am still a God.

I don't have any power, other than to just kill my own blade of grass if I want to, and so it lets me be less stressed about everything. Why bother stressing over your power and church and all that fancy stuff when you could just enjoy existence?

I looked once more at my blade of grass. A small fox walked over it. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted.

-

I woke up in a strange green room.

All of a sudden, a grand figure made itself

known; A singular blade of grass. It somehow spoke, "Do not be afraid my child... Come with me and we can go to the beyond of the grand grass plains."

I decided to ask a question, "...so when gods die they go to their own afterlife?"

Of course, the answer I received was perfectly logical. "No, only those of grass get the afterlife. Now, let's go."

I followed the one more powerful than the Gods. Who knew that Grass blades were more powerful than any other beings in existence?

Decided to write a little side story... I don't know what happened here.
