The next day Elise and I decided to tell everyone what is going on during breakfast since we would be leaving the next day " I don't see why you have to go too " Amelia said annoyed that Elise was leaving again

" Amelia we have been through this he is my husband I will stand with him in all things if he wants " I took hold of Elise's hand while adding " and I wants " rolling her eyes Amelia sat back down

" how long will this take " lazza asked me " it shouldn't be long a couple days maybe a week it sounded urgent that's why we are leaving so soon " nodding she asked me another question " ok which one of us will you bring with you " I opened my mouth to tell her that I wouldn't be able to bring one of them but lazza gave me a nasty look

" we talked about this you swore that you would always bring one of us with you" I looked at her shocked ' damn how did she know I was going to say no ' I thought to myself

" Ok I'll bring James with me " i said sighing James quickly looked at me horrified as he shot out of his seat " what why me " I looked at him smiling " because I have need of your talents and honestly I just lazza more when it comes to watching this place for long-term besides you should be happy to be by my side"

" I would be if being there didn't always lead me to fighting something " he said smirking

" don't act like you don't enjoy it " I said back as he sat down again " fine I'll go" he grumbled picking at his food wishing kal was here

" my king what should we do with the young man he has healed from his injuries " one of the maids at the side of the room said it took me a second to realize what she was talking

' shit I forgot about him' I thought as Elise looked at me intrigued " what is she talking about "sighing I stood up holding my hand out to her " I'll explain what happened on the way "

...a couple minutes later " you do some of the most unbelievable things sometimes " Elise said as we walked to the room " hey he isn't a innocent child he did terrible things too " I tried justifying myself but judging by the look on her face she wasn't having it

When we got to the door a maid was already there " he is awake my king " I nodded my head " good how is his healing going "

" it's going great he is mostly healed now " satisfied with the answer I took a step towards the door but the maid stopped me before I could open it opening " also even though she told me not to tell you I think you should know the princess has been her a few times to see the young man"

Hearing this my eye twitched " thanks for letting me know " was all I said before stepping inside with Elise in the room a young man who looked to be thirteen sat on a bed reading a book hearing the door open he looked up with a slight smile

but when he saw it was me his entire body froze before shaking uncontrollably as I got closer I noticed a wet spot spread across the sheets and bed "seriously I'm not that scary I only came to talk" Hearing me Elise hit me with her elbow causing me to wince in pain

" you traumatized the poor kid " she said stepping towards the bed flicking her wrist causing the " liquid " on the bed to fly into the bathroom seeing this the young man looked at Elise nervously

she crouched down next to the bed so she was eye level with him and said softly " hello my name is Elise I would like to apologize for my husband's actions I know he can be very intense at times when he gets angry but he's not a bad person, we aren't here to hurt you would you mind telling me your name "

Hearing this the young man hesitated but eventually relented " azen my name is azen " Elise and I could barely hear him when he talked but Elise didn't mind as she smiled at him " nice to meet you azen you don't need to be afraid like I said we aren't here to hurt we just want to know how you are feeling is your arms and legs healed ok"

Azen looked down nervous " they are but I'm having trouble walking " Smiling Elise pat his head " that's ok I'll have someone help get you walking again soon ok" Azen was happy hearing this getting what she wanted Elise stood up " we have to go now there's something we have to do but I have one more question and please be honest has my daughter been seeing you "

Azen just nods not saying anything " thank you for your honesty and when you can walk ok feel free to join everyone else " with that we both left the room but before I could leave I heard him whisper " I'm sorry "

Turning back I looked directly at him making him shiver " I'm not the one you should apologize too but if your really sorry be better than your father,be better then me" after saying that I left to join Elise outside

" what do you think" I asked her as she stayed silent for a few seconds " it should be fine to keep him around i didn't get any hostility from him just fear for you I'll keep a eye on him incase that changes " smiling I thanked Elise for what she did and not chewing me out to hard about azen after that we left to prepare for our departure

The next day

" that should be our guy" I said as Elise, James and I walked down a narrow alley to meet a hooded figure

The figure didn't say anything not even seeing when they saw Elise only putting there hand on the wall next to them causing the wall to open a few seconds later leaving a circular hole big enough for us to enter through inside was a elevator similar to the one I found when I stumbled across that underworld facility just bigger The hooded figure didn't say anything as we disappeared into the deepest of the mountain

" this is creepy shouldn't we have made it to our destination by now " James said after we had been descending for about a hour " I get what you mean but it wouldn't be a secret war if it could be discovered easily "It didn't take us much longer to reach the end of the elevator

When the elevator came to a stop a male dwarve in shiny sliver armor met us the armor looked like a typical fantasy type metal armor down to even the helmet some of it features though made me raise a eyebrow

' wardens, the dark swarm, the way his armor look it couldn't be.... it's weird how similar the armor is to the game '

" im roak which one of you is the new warden commander " snapping out of my thoughts hearing the wardens rough voice I stepped forward

" that would be me you can call me ghost" pointing at Elise and James I introduce them when I did he gave me a dirty look " this isn't a place for for civilians " ignoring his tone I just smiled

" you'll be glad they are here when the fighting starts you won't have to worry about them they can take care of themselves" grunting he turned away waving for us to follow him down a narrow tunnel

After waking for half a hour the tunnel opened up into a giant cavern with a fortress smack dap in the middle of it ignoring the strange site I focused on the dwarve moving between many of the buildings behind the fortresses walls

Along the way to our destination I noticed some Dwarves that were walking about stopped to look at us what was a bit strange though was that some of them weren't wearing armor ' are they off duty ' I wondered

Eventually we made it to a building that was much bigger then the rest with two floors when we entered roak brought us to a room on the second floor but before we entered he told me Elise and James would have to stay here I went to say something but Elise stopped me shaking her head so I just agreed and entered

Inside was a big round table with five seats two of which were empty not saying anything roak sat in one of the empty chairs do I did the same a little confused I looked around at the armored Dwarves sat in the other seats

Although they were all full armored designs on said armor made them stand out

snapping out of my thoughts I noticed all of the Dwarves were staring intensely at me
