suddenly a darkness covered the battlefield not just it but the whole world

for a few moments everyone stopped and looked up to the sky only to see a eclipse shrouding the world there was a single symbol on the moon that no one could understand but if someone from earth saw it the would recognize it as the Japanese kanji for wrath

as everyone was looking up they didn't notice the darkness folding and expanding where there once was a body slowly the darkness took a humanoid shape as runes in bright neon red started covering it

A pair of eyes with a complex network of lines and circles in them appeared with a wicked smile on the face " being locked away for so long can really give you a real kink in the neck" the demon said casually moving its head around not concerned with the creatures around it

at this point everyone was looking at it not understanding what they were seeing

Noticing it had everyone's attention the smile on its face got bigger " you all should rejoice today you get to see the birth of a true demon " there was complete silence all the people there were not sure what to make of what was happening until suddenly a metal ball appeared in front of the demon held by two fingers

" O it seems someone is eager for there reward " it flicked the ball and a small burst of purple-blue fire came out when it's finger made contact with the ball it flew extremely fast leaving a colorful trail when the ball returned to the one who fired it a explosion happened killing a small chunk of the back line

It walked towards the human line " what are you all standing there for attack him " the emperor yelled from the back of his army the demon was in the middle of both army's they split apart when the eclipse happened the soldiers hesitated for a little before a chunk broke off to attack the demon

The beastmen on the other hand started backing away slowly there instincts were screaming at them to get away a couple of them had there legs shaking uncontrollably on the verge of running away if it wasn't for the ones beside them calming them down so they didn't do any sudden movements

When the humans got close obsidian shot up from the ground and impaled them the ones who didn't die instantly started screaming in agony

unconcerned by the men screaming it continued walking forward the humans in the front line weren't sure what to do they aren't trained to deal with a being so much stronger then them they only had stakes to stab someone with to disturb there mana but they still had to get close no one wanted to do that

The demon calmly watched as they got closer with the same wide smile on its face when the golem got in range it raised its arm to throw a punch but the demon just casually snapped and a part of the golem's body started to glow before it explodes in a fire ball of purple and blue the other summon didn't flinch away seeing this the bird started rotating as shadows covered it's body forming into a drill as it flew at the demon

Sidestepping the bird when it was about to hit the demon quickly grabbed its head as the rest of the body kept rotating snapping it's own neck the demon ripped the birds head off " noooo- " after seeing it go limp the

summoner couldn't control his emotions after watching what happened but he was cut off when the head of the dead summon smashed into his killing him and sending the body flying into some men behind it knocking them to the ground

The army watched as this being covered in bright red runes with a smile that sent shivers down there spines walk towards them leaving a fiery footprint with every step and they couldn't help but think they were looking at a real demon there death was just a matter of time a couple who didn't know better tried to run away they didn't get to far before a shard of obsidian came out of the ground impelling them for there screaming to be heard by all " there Is no escape from me your death was fated the moment I was set free you only have yourselves to blame"

when it was finally in front of the emperor the ground was soaked in blood and corpses
