Chapter 335: Chapter 335: Tang San Calls Shrek Seven Devils Together

Chapter 335: Tang San Calls Shrek Seven Devils Together

The storm that had engulfed Hao Tian Sect had settled. The once mysterious and enigmatic clouds had vanished without a trace, leaving behind only a steep mountain peak towering two to three thousand meters high and the remnants of ruins at the summit. Only the faint traces left among the ruins could tell that this place was once the greatest weapon spirit sect in the world, the Hao Tian Sect.

In the Divine Realm, Tang San retracted the Sea God Trident and the Asura Sword, calmly wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth. After casting a deep glance at the God of Destruction, he turned and returned to his Sea God Temple. The divine senses he had left on Niu Tian, Tai Tian, and Tang Wutong had been completely shattered, indicating that he had lost all his arrangements in the Douluo Continent.

A millennium of effort... destroyed in an instant!

Unlike the God of Destruction, who could minutely observe everything happening on the Douluo Continent, Tang San couldn't. The divine senses he had given to Tang Wutong, Niu Tian, and Tai Tian weren't for a divine trial; none of the three, nor Du Qianjue, had the inherent strength to actively communicate with the God of Destruction's divine sense.

Specifically, from the moment Du Qianjue brought Tang Wutong before him, Tang San had completely lost control over the lower realm. After all, Du Qianjue was not one to be trifled with. Facing a first-level god, even if Tang San himself was formidable, the divine sense he left on the three was just a sliver; it was all too easy for Du Qianjue to block his divine sense exploration.

Thus, Tang San was unaware of the specifics of Hao Tian Sect's destruction, only knowing that the divine senses he had placed on the trio had lost connection. There were two possibilities for this scenario. The first was that Du Qianjue had killed Tang Wutong along with Niu Tian and Tai Tian during the destruction of Hao Tian Sect, erasing his divine sense in the process. The second possibility was that all three had been turned by Du Qianjue, willingly allowing him to erase Tang San's divine sense and betraying him.

However, Tang San briefly considered the second scenario before discarding it. Proud as he was, it was inconceivable to him that his daughter and his 'dogs' would turn against him, a noble and dignified god king.

He preferred to believe that Tang Wutong, Niu Tian, and Tai Tian were dead rather than consider their betrayal. After all, even if they had betrayed him, it posed no threat to him. But he never considered how deep Tang Wutong's hatred for him could be. Any normal person would not be pleased with someone else controlling their life, especially not Tang Wutong.

She was incredibly proud. The loneliness of her childhood, the manipulation during her youth, and the brief awakening in adulthood only to learn of her puppet-like existence filled her with immense hatred.

Tang Wutong would rather devour Tang San alive! Having been killed by him at least twice, she wanted Tang San to pay with his life for the pain of soul shattering.

"Perhaps it's time to summon the Shrek Seven Devils. I can't hesitate any longer. With my millennium-long plan failed, if I don't act, I may soon have no place in the Divine Realm," Tang San mused with a glint of cold light in his eyes.

Having ascended to the Divine Realm, he had been busy grappling for power and "training" his beloved Xing Rui and Xiao Wu. Frankly, he no longer held much regard for Dai Mubai and the others. As a noble dual-god king and one of the five great enforcers of the Divine Realm, why would he care for those mere second-level gods?

Over the millennia in Douluo and over two decades in the Divine Realm, his interactions with the other five devils of Shrek had been minimal.

Dai Mubai, tormented by guilt over Bai Chenxiang's death, had secluded himself in Phoenix Mountain, constantly immersed in lava, wallowing in self-pity and reminiscing about the past, along with loathing his past inaction.

Dai Mubai and Zhu Zhuqing's activities were unknown; they hardly ever left their home. Similarly, Oscar and Ning Rongrong didn't do much besides occasionally visiting Dai Mubai and Zhu Zhuqing.

Oscar, who enjoyed cooking, shared some camaraderie with the culinary god, Rong Nianbing, discussing cooking techniques. The others had almost no relationships with other gods in the Divine Realm.

After such a long time, they hardly understood the structure of the Divine Realm, knowing only of the ongoing friction between Tang San and the God of Destruction. Since Tang San hadn't called them, they hadn't contacted him either.

Especially Dai Mubai and Oscar, who weren't fools. How could they not see Tang San's changes?

Tang San had changed, becoming someone they no longer recognized. The tacit understanding between Dai Mubai and Oscar showed every time Zhu Zhuqing and Ning Rongrong asked why Tang San wasn't invited to their gatherings—they would unanimously claim Tang San was too busy, probably with no time to join them.

It wasn't just Tang San who was deliberately distancing himself; Dai Mubai and Oscar were also subtly keeping their distance.

Of course, if Tang San called for them, they wouldn't be able to refuse. The title of Shrek Seven Devils was firmly affixed to their names. From the day they jointly ascended to the Divine Realm, the label of belonging to Tang San had been irremovable.

Prosper or perish together.

When true trouble came, they would still lend a hand to Tang San, not out of the camaraderie of the Shrek Seven Devils, but purely out of self-interest.

Decades had passed, and many things had been eroded away by time.

Upon receiving Tang San's divine message, although Dai Mubai and Oscar felt a revulsion akin to swallowing a fly, they still took their wives to the Sea God Temple.

As for Ma Hongjun, the simpleton, upon receiving Tang San's message, he leapt from the magma as a blaze of fire, crossing the sky with beautiful trailing lights from his splendid phoenix wings.

This boy still believed he couldn't bring Bai Chenxiang to the Divine Realm simply because he hadn't tried hard enough, inheriting only the position of the Phoenix God, not the Fire God.

In reality, as a god king, Tang San could easily bring his wife up with just a word; Rong Nianbing had brought his master and a host of women to the Divine Realm, far exceeding the supposed limit of three people for a first-level god.

Only the positions of the gods were limited in the Divine Realm, not their families. Such matters in the Divine Realm were negotiable as long as the number of people brought wasn't too outrageous. Almost no one would refuse, especially since Tang San hadn't even reached his own limit of three as a god king.

This was why Ma Hongjun was still wallowing in the magma of Phoenix Mountain and emoing. Otherwise, he would have already learned the truth.

Of course, this would later become Ma Hongjun's reason for stabbing Tang San in the back.

On this day, the Shrek Seven Devils gathered once again in the Sea God Temple of the Divine Realm.

"Mubai, Little Oscar, Fatty, Rongrong, Zhuqing, long time no see!" Tang San, dressed in the grand and majestic attire of the Sea God, radiated a noble aura and wore a gentle smile.

This smile, however, made Dai Mubai and Oscar somewhat uncomfortable.

Too damn hypocritical...

Beside Tang San, Xiao Wu stood in a pink and white dress, her slender legs wrapped in thin white stockings, and silver-white crystal high heels on her feet, her smile graceful and gentle.

"Big Boss Dai, Little Oscar, Fatty!" Xiao Wu greeted the three men first before moving to Zhu Zhuqing and Ning Rongrong's side, linking arms with them, "And Rongrong, Zhuqing, long time no see!"

Xiao Wu was much more natural, addressing Dai Mubai as "Big Boss Dai" just like before, unlike Tang San who had started calling him Mubai after becoming more arrogant.

This made Dai Mubai and Oscar's expressions soften somewhat, and their smiles became more genuine.

"Yeah, it's been a long time," Dai Mubai said with a sigh.

"Can't help it. After coming to the Divine Realm, it's been inconvenient to meet, otherwise it wouldn't have been so long before we, the Shrek Seven Devils, gathered again," Oscar said with a teasing grin.

However, his words carried a hint of irony, which only Dai Mubai could fully appreciate.

Busy? Busy with a bubble hammer! Busy!

Dai Mubai almost laughed out loud, suppressing his amusement before playfully punching Oscar on the shoulder.

"You, even if you're busy, you should come and hang out with us more. I have to say, your cooking has really improved since coming to the Divine Realm. Rongrong is lucky!"

"Little Wu~" Ning Rongrong didn't join the men's conversation, instead tightly hugging Xiao Wu's slender waist, her face showing both longing and closeness.

The usually reserved Zhu Zhuqing also showed a faint smile.

At this moment, the simple Ma Hongjun spoke up.

Having had no contact with outsiders for a long time, Ma Hongjun was completely unaware that the Shrek Seven Devils had now split into several groups, still thinking they were the same Shrek Seven Devils who had shared life and death experiences together.

"Third Brother, did you call us here for something?" Ma Hongjun asked.
