Skill Extraction: Exploring Dungeons

Chapter 82: Unknown Leader (Seeking Followers)

Today is the day to pass through the Dungeon.

After leaving the Big Gold Tooth Tavern, the group hurriedly arrived at the hall in front of the Dungeon.

Some impatiently stepped onto the Teleportation Stone, silently experiencing the dizziness brought by teleportation.

The group stood on the floating platform, gazing at the surrounding starry sky, unusually silent.

Kane stopped at the Fog Gate, looked at it, clenched his fist, then relaxed.

The people behind him also silently stood in place, even Longbei remained silent in such an atmosphere.

"Hah"

Kane slowly exhaled, his clenched fist loosening at his thigh.

"Ready?"

"No problem"

After hearing his teammate's response, Kane was the first to pass through the Fog Gate.

The others followed closely behind.

After the sensation of passing through a thin membrane, the scene before them was no longer a dim corridor.

Instead, they directly arrived at a familiar arena, only the sky was no longer bright, but rather cloudy and somewhat gloomy.

"Be vigilant"

Upon realizing the entry location had changed, Kane quickly became alert and loudly warned the others behind coming in.

Eagle Eye scanned the surroundings, wary of potential danger.

Aside from the floating Crystal Hourglass in the center, there was nothing else and no Magic Power reflection.

The group vigilantly eyed the hourglass in the middle, floating upwards with its surface already full of cracks.

As it stopped in mid-air

"Snap"

The Crystal Hourglass shattered

Glittering crystal shards flew out, scattering and floating in the air.

What I protected for days just cracked open like this?

And the information I gathered didn't have such a scene.

Kane became even more vigilant

The crystalline fragments began to float and rotate, gradually adhering to each other, seemingly trying to form something.

As these crystal fragments swiftly fit together, a humanoid female sculpture slowly formed.

The faint light sand grains inside the hourglass turned into two streaming ribbons, gathering behind the sculpture.

The statue's posture resembled a curled-up baby, the two ribbons began to encircle the sculpture from the back.

The ribbons gradually solidified, transforming into a pair of wings.

These wings enveloped the entire sculpture.

The wings turned pure white, with a radiant shockwave spreading out to the surroundings.

Kreya and Longbei flashed to the front of the team, raising their Shields to defend the team.

The light and wind pressure made it difficult for them to open their eyes.

When the commotion ceased, they finally saw the original form of the statue in the sky.

The enveloping white wings suddenly spread open, feathers floating all around.

It was as if the dark cloudy sky was torn apart, bright light shone into the arena.

The woman in the sky, eyes closed tight, arms crossed over her chest, long black hair cascading behind, swaying with the wind.

Her body covered in Light Armor adorned with golden patterns, the smooth fabric of the armor hanging down. With the wind blowing, the silky hem swayed backward, wrapping around her lower body, outlining the contours of her slender legs.

A light golden Cloak also fluttered with the wind, printed with square patterns.

Behind her, her massive pure white wings, stretched freely, blocking the light and casting a shadow.

Holiness, melancholy

But this doesn't match the information Kane and they obtained, the final Dungeon Leader should be a champion Gladiator or champion Beast.

How could it be such an angel, with its grand entrance effect? Could this really be an effect in the Copper Dungeon!

The Angel opened her eyes, light golden pupils, deep and captivating, with enchanting Magic Power.

Her eyes gently fixated on Kane, reaching out softly to him.

Kreya in front of Kane quickly grew alert, tightly gripping the Shield.

"Ah~ Warrior, you've come, but it's too late."

With a light and gentle voice, carrying a hint of regret.

As the words fell, her eyes sparkled with light, with two shimmering tear drops flowing down, then the light faded.

"Ah! Warrior, die now"

Her eyes transformed a sharp violet, her voice brash and piercing, unlike before.

Crystals circled above her head, forming something resembling a halo.

Though why she seemed to change personality was unknown, Kane wasn't planning to treat her with courtesy.

He raised the Launcher in his hand, aimed, and pulled the trigger.

Four Crossbow Arrows shot straight towards her.

Just as they were about to hit her, a circle of transparent protection appeared, preventing the crossbow arrows from advancing, falling to the ground.

"How naive."

Her piercing voice resounded from her holy face once again.

Then she began to clasp her hands differently, Magic Power twisted within Kane's view.

"Stop her," Kane shouted.

Meiketsu had long applied Potion Bottles to the team, with his control, the enhancement from the Potion Bottle flowed into everyone's bodies. Goblins appeared beside him, ensuring his safety.

He then donned a Cloak, concealing his form.

Earlier, Kane had given the Goblin Summoning Talisman and his Cloak to him.

Longbei activated his Skills, burned his beard, and leapt forward.

Everyone unleashed attacks towards the Angel in the sky in unison, but all strikes landed on the barrier without budging.

The Angel's face showed a disdainful smile as she continued her ritual.

She sang loudly, her voice no longer the gentle it was but harsh and sharp, full of Malice.

"Sin! Guard thyself"

The cheering's from the stands, filled with bloodthirsty roars and howls, came to a sudden stop.

From the mist-covered stands, wisps of black smoke surged towards her hand, gradually forming a shield, dark and shifting.

The Shield seemed a bunch of black flames burning, painful faces flickering in the fire.

Her spread left wing also became bloody and decrepit along with the black mist.

"Redemption! Destroy the enemy"

The cheering from the stands had completely ceased as the remaining mist covering view converged into her right hand.

This mist condensed into a milky Light Saber, the Sword Blade singing with Holiness.

The spread left wing also bathed in a thin golden light.

"Now, feel the Blessing, accept your destruction."

She raised the blade in her hand, flapped her wings, and charged straight towards Kane.

"Where do you think you're going, you damned birdman."

Longbei cursed and mocked, rushing towards her, attempting to hinder the enemy's approach to Kane.

This time his mockery failed, as the Angel ignored, seemingly having eyes only for Kane.

Longbei hit hard on the Angel's barrier, but the blow did not crack it, only causing ripples.

The strike neither stopped the Angel nor slowed her steps.

"Kane"

After hearing Kreya's call, Kane directly shot a Spider Silk, wrapping it around her hand.

Subsequently, Kreya forcefully pulled Kane towards herself.

Kane's Crossbow Arrows also madly attacked the Angel's barrier, causing internal blasts from "Critical Strike".

Finally, after several triggers, the barrier was broken.

As she attempted to turn and rush towards Kane once more, this time Longbei and Kreya firmly stood in front of her.
