______
''How is this… Uh, what…?'' Erin had a confused knot on her face while examining these 'centaurs.'
Normally speaking, such creatures were a half-and-half mix of a human and a horse. However, this was totally not the case here. These centaurs were fully humanoid but with a horse's build.
Jake walked in front of Ella and stared at her.
From the front, this centaur seemed like a tall, normal woman. Human torso, human legs… everything the same.
But when he walked to the side, Jake could see that she had another set of legs connected by a horse's barrel.
It was difficult to describe at a glance and one may say she was a deformed human. But strangely, nothing seemed wrong, except for the horse tail connected with huge human buttocks.
''They look beautiful,'' Ruxa commented, stroking Bella's barrel which had ivory human skin. The gorgon appeared small compared to the 2-meter-tall centaur.
''Oh, thank you.''
''Thank you. You are beautiful as well.''
The creatures again spoke simultaneously. Moving their powerful legs, Bella and Ella walked beside their master. Both were 2nd Circle Archers and slightly taller than Jake.
''Go ahead,'' he told them and glanced at the stunned Perry who was still processing the sight in front of her.
As the centaurs moved their four legs and ran outside, it sounded just like horses trotting.
''Those are gigantic… master!'' Perry exclaimed, seeing the rears of Bella and Ella.
Erin, on the other hand, licked her red lips.
''You've already drank centaur blood.'' Jake slapped her forehead, telling her to not have any nefarious thoughts.
''Let's go,'' he said and walked forward.
In just a short time, the centaurs were tied to the luxury carriage. As they had human thinking, there was no need for a coach.
The three women and their master climbed the carriage and shut the door. Jake already had everything kept in his inventory, so there were no luggages.
Upon their masters orders, the exotic centaurs pulled the carriage. Each weighed around 400 pounds and had the strength of 20 adult men combined.
The centaurs' stamina was over 300 even as 2nd Circle creatures. Better than all expensive horses, except those enhanced with high-tier magic.
Trotting on the street, Bella and Ella looked around. The entry of these creatures made all heads turn. Some shouted in terror, while some were fascinated.
''Lord, what is this?''
''Hey, do you see that?''
Perry glanced through the carriage's glass window and turned to Jake, ''Master, is it okay to go through the main road?''
''Don't think too much,'' he said and closed his eyes.
The carriage's speed suddenly doubled as the centaurs began running. The people walking ahead scrambled to give way.
Bella and Ella's bizarre bodies left a deep impression on the citizens of Orlando. Thankfully for them, the centaurs were wearing armors and custom-made clothing to cover their private parts. The creatures themselves didn't care about it, though.
After reaching the outskirts of Orlando, Jake withdrew a map of Karsuda and told the centaurs to head northwest.
The scenery changed from time to time. There were many villages along the way. Some were quite beautiful which attracted the attention of Perry.
Jake didn't know she liked pretty things. After becoming a Dark Priestess, she hadn't really left the dungeon. Even Yunna had gone outside with him.
Thus, Jake had brought Perry along with Ruxa and Erin. The gorgon would be useful once he reached that dungeon. Jake didn't really know about Tartus, so she could be the guide.
As for the reason why he brought Erin again, he wanted her to drink the blood of powerful monsters.
Whoosh!
The carriage entered a muddy road after leaving the villages. Jake peeked outside through the right window and saw a large windmill.
He found that Erin looked rather nostalgic seeing it. Noticing his gaze, she turned to him and smiled.
''I wonder who works there.'' She said casually, pressing herself on his chest.
''Ahem.'' On the opposite seat, Perry coughed and gracefully adjusted her posture. It was her way of signaling that she didn't like what Erin was doing.
However, the vampiress didn't care and pressed head on Jake's chest. Ruxa rested her elbow on the window sill and let her be for now.
''I used to work on a mill like that,'' Erin whispered to her master.
Jake looked back to see the windmill and spoke after a few seconds, ''Before you became a vampire?''
His voice was moderately loud so the other two also heard it.
''Yes,'' Erin nodded.
The carriage bumped at this moment. The front wheels seemed to have hit a tree root. They were passing through an unnamed forest.
Jake stroked Erin's long thighs and said, ''You haven't told me about your past.''
''I'm curious. Weren't you born a vampire?'' Perry asked.
''No,'' Erin replied, turning around and sitting straight on Jake's lap.
''I was a human raised in a small village of Gaephia province. Until my early twenties, I remained in that village as a married woman. Yes, I had a husband and a kid as well,'' Erin paused there and chuckled.
''That's interesting. What's the name of that village?''
''I'm sorry, master. I don't… quite remember. That village probably doesn't exist now,'' the vampiress replied and continued recounting her past.
How she was the eldest in her family and yet a crybaby. How her beauty gave her endless troubles and how her overprotective brothers nearly killed all her suitors.
Two hours passed by quickly. Jake, Perry and Ruxa learned a new side of Erin they never knew existed.
''It was 10 years ago, a pale and tall woman came to our village-''
''Wait, so you're 30?'' Ruxa suddenly asked.
''Thirty-two.'' Erin took her master's palm and began rubbing it. ''That woman was a cursed corpse, not even at the 1st Circle. However, she possessed vampiric abilities and bit everyone in the village…''
''....Including me, I was a pathetic weakling back then. But thankfully, I didn't become a ghoul like most bitten humans.'' Erin looked around, finding the silence encouraging.
''It could be because that woman had become a real vampire by the time she sucked my blood. I gained some of her powers and shielded my family from her…''
Erin suddenly laughed as if she had said something ridiculous.
At this moment, the carriage finally exited the unnamed forest and a clearing appeared. The sun seemed to be titling toward the west.
''We fled to another village,'' Erin continued. ''I wanted to settle there and forget about what had happened. My son was barely five years old at that time and I wanted him to have a better future. My husband was very supportive of me...''
''But good nature only lasts until you start having desires.'' Her eyes flashed red. Erin stroked her alluring lips with her forefinger and suddenly bit it.
''Blood.'' She showed her finger to Jake. ''My thirst for blood started. It was a simple afternoon like this…''
''And?''
''What happened?''
Erin slipped from her master's sweaty lap and knelt before his crotch. Placing her hands on his thighs, she turned to Perry and Ruxa.
''That afternoon, I butchered my husband and sucked my son's blood until he became a dry corpse.''
