Chapter 365: Chapter 362.

Chapter 362.

Wang Feng took the lead, charging toward Tang San's mirror image in the distance.

Having used the Disorder Splitting Wind Hammer technique himself, Wang Feng knew that each strike demanded significant effort, especially in his current condition. Even minor injuries would set him back. But since his opponent was merely a shadow, Wang Feng attacked without holding back.

He directed ten sharp blades, formed by armored Black Thorns, toward Tang San's mirror image. Although the sharp blades might be disrupted by the air currents surrounding the shadow, targeting specific points could effectively interrupt its technique. Wang Feng knew this well, having performed it himself, and was confident he could break through the hammer technique with precision.

Just as his ten sharp blades closed in, however—whoosh!—a dozen shadow blades suddenly intercepted, cutting off the trajectory of his attack entirely.

The realization startled Wang Feng. Could his own mirror image possess such quick thinking and high intelligence? Did it even share his thought processes?

The remaining sharp blades aimed at Hu Liena's mirror image and his own. Mirror Hu Liena countered by using her fox-tail soul bone to sweep the sharp blades aside. Her foxtail, an external soul bone, held incredible power. What surprised Wang Feng even more was that, despite landing two direct hits on Hu Liena's mirror image, the attacks had no effect.

"Immunity to damage?" Tang San muttered, inhaling sharply as he observed from a distance.

While the mirrored trio's abilities were impressive, they were simply reproductions of the real powers displayed earlier. Strong as they were, Tang San had initially thought that the White Death might still find a way to prevail. Yet these shadow abilities seemed to extend far beyond mere imitation.

How can we fight this? A sense of unease began creeping into his mind.

'I could try using a spiritual attack using my Purple Demon Eye', Tang San mused, but doing so would drain all of his soul power but it might work against these three mirrors...

He watched Wang Feng engaged in battle. While the White Death was holding his own, the mirror images seemed to anticipate his every move. Despite Wang Feng's prowess, he wasn't making significant progress.

The physical strength of Wang Feng's mirror image wasn't on par with his own. One strike from Wang Feng would sent the shadow reeling back. Yet, Hu Liena's charm abilities, though diminished, were still potent due to the power of her attached soul bone. She appeared to have no clear vulnerabilities.

Wang Feng delivered a powerful blow to mirror Hu Liena's foxtail, but these mirrors didn't take much damage from physical attacks, their forms were half-real, half-shadow. Adding to the challenge, Wang Feng's own mirror image possessed Armored Black Thorns, meaning it could likely open a second form if needed.

Working together, mirror Hu Liena and his own shadow were formidable, and with Wang Feng not at full strength, dispatching these mirrors would not be easy. While they weren't causing him serious harm, this stalemate wasn't a viable option.

Even more challenging was how his mirror seemed to able to read his intentions, mirroring his thought process. Many of Wang Feng's strategies and attacks appeared to be anticipated and countered before they even struck.

He had tried a tactic earlier, pretending to retreat to the blood pool. With a precise punch, he had launched Hu Liena into the air, intending to follow up by striking her with sharp blades while she was airborne, forcing her into the molten lava of the blood pool below. Yet, before she could fall, his mirror image intercepted, catching mirror Hu Liena mid-air.

This was the first time Wang Feng had encountered an opponent this frustrating. He might have had a chance at victory if he were at full strength, but the mirror's uncanny ability to anticipate his moves was making things near impossible.

Why am I so hard to fight? Wang Feng thought, almost humorously.

Meanwhile, mirror Tang San was successfully executing the Disorder Splitting Wind Hammer Technique, having reached his sixtieth strike. Furious energy surged around him as violent air currents tore through the atmosphere.

At that moment, Hu Liena, standing just behind Wang Feng, whispered softly into his ear.

"My...my soul bone...it has a weakness," she murmured, her breath warm against his ear. "If you strike there, it might allow you to defeat her."

Wang Feng looked at her, startled.

A weakness? he thought. It's unusual for an soul bone to have a flaw—unless it's inherited from the soul beast itself or results from a fusion problem.

Did Hu Liena intend to share this willingly? Revealing such a vulnerability would mean Wang Feng could use it against her in the future. For a moment, he hesitated, but he didn't press her for details.

"It's at...three inches from the base of my foxtail," she said, her voice trembling slightly. "If you strike there, my soul bone will retract temporarily, leaving my body in a stiffened state..."

Her voice trailed off as she looked down, seemingly gathering her courage.

Wang Feng considered the location. It was sensitive, difficult to target under normal circumstances. But he pushed aside his reservations—this fight required every advantage.

He hoped these mirrors had inherited Hu Liena's weakness as well. Quickly, he turned his attention to mirror Hu Liena, launching an attack at the precise spot she had mentioned.

Using his enhanced physical strength, Wang Feng struck the area near the base of her tail. He didn't apply excessive force, merely a quick, focused tap. Instantly, mirror Hu Liena's body froze, her foxtail spirit bone retracting as her body stiffened.

It worked. Wang Feng was taken aback by how effective the vulnerability was.

From his position, Tang San only saw Wang Feng's move and assumed it was a unique technique of the White Death. He couldn't perceive the subtlety of the attack but noticed the mirror Hu Liena's soul bone had vanished.
