Chapter 12: BLOCKAGE
As the students eagerly gathered in the hall for Mr. Piock's class, a hushed silence fell over them as he stepped forward to address them. "Greetings, young ones," he began, his voice low and ominous. "I trust you all recall the lessons I imparted to you in our previous class?" A murmur of assent rippled through the assembled students.
"Good. Then you know what to do when you reach the sky and sense a presence nearby. Move with utmost caution and approach it slowly. What you will find is a door, one that can only be opened with the power of your very soul. Beyond that door lies a realm of colorful balls of fire , each pulsating with unimaginable power."
Mr. Piock's eyes gleamed with an almost maniacal intensity as he continued, "But beware, young ones. These balls of fire are elusive and easily frightened. Move too quickly, and they will vanish before your eyes. So be patient, be focused, and above all, be persistent. For only then will you be able to harness the true potential of your inner ."
The students persevered for hours, struggling to approach the elusive balls of fire with focus and precision. Despite their efforts, each student failed to reach the balls before they vanished into thin air. Disheartened, the class slumped in defeat. "Don't worry," reassured Mr. Piock. "Mastery of inner requires patience and persistence. It may take time, but once you grasp it, it will become second nature."
Taizen sat there in the hall, watching as his fellow students attempted to reach the balls of fire. He had been struggling for hours, and no matter how hard he tried, he just couldn't seem to make any progress. While the others were able to approach the door and open it with ease, Taizen found himself unable to even make it to the door. He was becoming increasingly frustrated with himself, and the more he tried, the more his self-doubt grew.
As the hours ticked by, Taizen watched as one by one, his classmates were able to approach the balls of fire and make progress in their inner training. He couldn't help but feel left behind, as he struggled to even reach the first step. His mind was filled with doubts and fears, and he wondered if he was just not cut out for this kind of training.
As the class drew to a close, Taizen felt a sense of defeat wash over him. He had failed yet again, and he couldn't help but feel like he was letting everyone down. But just as he was about to pack up and leave, Mr. Piock approached him.
"Don't be so hard on yourself, Taizen," Mr. Piock said, his voice low and comforting. "It's not uncommon for students to struggle with this at first. Inner training is a difficult and complex process, and it takes time and practice to master. You'll get there eventually."
Mr Piock looked at Taizen with a solemn expression, "You see, Taizen, the power of accessing inner is closely tied to one's bloodline. And in your case, being a mixed blood, it is likely that you are facing some blockage. It is not uncommon for individuals with mixed blood to experience difficulty in accessing inner, especially if their other heritage is not known."
Taizen's heart sank upon hearing this, as he had always struggled with feeling like he didn't belong. Being a mixed blood only added to his feelings of inadequacy, and now this revelation about his inner made him feel even more lost.
"Is there any way I can find out what my other heritage is?" Taizen asked, hoping for some clarity.
Mr Piock nodded, "Yes, we can perform a blood test to determine your other heritage. However, you will need to join the agency first before you have access to the facility. I'm sorry, Taizen, but until you are able to find out what your other bloodline is, you won't be able to access that door."
Taizen was disheartened, knowing that he would have to work twice as hard as the others just to catch up. But he was determined to succeed, and he knew that with his unique abilities, he could still make a difference. "Thank you, Mr Piock. I'll do whatever it takes to overcome this blockage and access my inner," he said with conviction.
Mr Piock smiled warmly at Taizen, "I have no doubt that you will, Taizen. Your determination and resilience will take you far. Just remember, the journey may be difficult, but the destination will be worth it."
Mr. Piock gathered all the students and led them into the hand-to-hand combat training facility. "Alright, everyone, today we will be sparring against each other and against the robots," he announced, "The robots are programmed to adjust to your weaknesses, making it very difficult to beat. So, I expect everyone to give their best."
The students looked at each other nervously, knowing that the robots were advanced and could be quite challenging to defeat. Taizen was particularly apprehensive, knowing that he couldn't access his inner yet. However, he was determined to make the most of the training.
Mr. Piock led the students to the hand-to-hand combat training facility, where they were instructed to pair up and spar against each other. Taizen was paired with Peeko, a tall and muscular student who belonged to the mighty BB bloodline.
The two students stood in the center of the ring, facing each other with focused expressions. Taizen knew that Peeko was a formidable opponent, but he was determined to give his best. They bowed to each other and began the match.
Peeko launched a quick jab at Taizen, which he dodged with ease. Taizen then counter-attacked with a series of quick punches, but Peeko blocked them all with his muscular arms. They continued to exchange blows, each trying to find an opening in the other's defense.
As the match progressed, Taizen realized that Peeko's fighting style was heavily reliant on his brute strength. He decided to use this to his advantage and started dodging and weaving around his opponent, tiring him out. As Peeko became increasingly exhausted, Taizen seized the opportunity and landed a swift blow to his chest, knocking him to the ground.
As the training session progressed, Taizen's admiration for his peers grew with each passing moment. It was like watching a beautifully choreographed dance, but instead of ballet shoes, they were wearing gloves and protective gear. Each move was executed with precision and fluidity, showcasing their impressive strength and agility.
Taizen couldn't help but feel a sense of awe as he watched one particular students, Luna, effortlessly dodge the attacks of her opponent before landing a powerful blow that sent someone flying across the room. And then there was Leo, who seemed to have eyes in the back of his head as he deftly evaded every strike aimed at him. Even Peeko, who had earlier struggled in the hand-to-hand combat training, was now holding his own against a formidable opponent.
It was clear that these students had dedicated their lives to mastering their craft, and Taizen was inspired to do the same. He vowed to work even harder and push himself to his limits in order to keep up with his peers. And as he watched the other students, he couldn't help but feel a sense of camaraderie, as if they were all in this together.
The sound of metal clanging against metal brought Taizen back to reality as he saw the robots being brought out for the final phase of the training. He gulped nervously, knowing that the robots were programmed to adapt to each student's weaknesses, making it a formidable challenge.
But Taizen was determined to prove himself. He took a deep breath, tightened his gloves, and stepped forward to face the robot. The room fell silent as everyone watched in anticipation. Taizen's heart was pounding in his chest, but he refused to let fear overcome him.
The robot lunged towards him, and Taizen reacted instinctively, dodging its attack before delivering a swift punch to its metallic body. But the robot was quick to adapt, and soon Taizen found himself on the defensive, narrowly avoiding each blow.
As the fight raged on, Taizen could feel the sweat pouring down his face, his muscles aching from the exertion. But he refused to give up. With a newfound determination, he landed a powerful blow that sent the robot crashing to the ground.
The room erupted in cheers as Taizen stood victorious, his heart swelling with pride. He looked around at his fellow students, who were all smiling and clapping him on the back. In that moment, Taizen knew that he had found his family, his home. And he was grateful for the opportunity to train alongside such incredible individuals.
