Show Off Once in Every World

The next scene to be filmed happens to be the rival scene between Wen Ying and Yu Guo. Yu Guo’s role in the movie is the son of General Shen Wei. His specialty was using his fists, kicks and body movements, but he is slightly inferior in intelligence and does not like to use his brain. He likes to follow behind the character played by Lin Yi, acting as a thug, and does not get along with Chao Ge.

They are from the noble class, while Chao Ge is from a commoner background. There is a natural conflict between the two parties.

The scene that is about to be played is the first time that Chao Ge has menstruation but she could not convey that to anyone. It happens to be during a period of rigorous training and she was miserable. The character played by Yu Guo noticed that she was in poor health and specially teamed up with her to fight.

Although it is a fight scene, unlike other fight scenes, it does not involve real action, and most of it is done in slow motion. Even so, Wen Ying still had emergency training under the arrangement of Director Lin. As the course progress was different, she was not in the same class as other young actors. After she and Yu Guo exchanged tricks several times, the martial arts instructor indicated that there was no problem, and then Director Lin called “A”.

The moment the clapperboard was laid down, Yu Guo immediately struck a beautiful pose and looked at Wen Ying with a provocative expression——this was in line with his character setting in the movie.

But when his eyes fell on Wen Ying, he suddenly froze.

Wen Ying was also dressed like a little warrior, but including when she was trying out moves with Yu Guo, her eyes were on the ground most of the time, and she didn’t speak. She looked languid, like petals rolling by the sun. Yu Guo had many guesses about the new Chao Ge, but she didn’t expect it to turn out like this, and she was even more unwilling to play with her.

But now her expression changed.

Her firm black eyes stared straight ahead, and her originally delicate eyebrows were thickened with charcoal, giving her a bit more heroism. She straightened her back, her limbs were loose but had the tenacity of a warrior. The posture that was originally like a withered grape vine was like suddenly drinking the living water from a mountain spring. It stretched out just right and became full of vitality.

She looked at him with eyes that were partly disgusted, partly wary, and partly disdainful, because she looked down on him for always relying on his background to dominate the military camp. This is the look Chao Ge would have.

Realizing that he was stunned, Yu Guo hit his head.

“Cut.” Director Lin’s voice immediately sounded, “Yu Guo…..”

“I was distracted.” He had the courage to admit his mistake and actively corrected it. “Come again, come again.”

Yu Guo mentally prepared himself in advance to start over.

Sure enough, as soon as he heard the sound of the clapping board, the person opposite immediately entered their state. Fortunately, he had adapted to her ability to quickly enter the scene, and read out his line with a proud expression: “It’s not too late to admit defeat now.”

“Chao Ge” crossed her arms, “Stop speaking nonsense.”

Yu Guo immediately pounced on her and started fighting!

According to the script, Yu Guo’s character took advantage of others’ unpreparedness, but Chao Ge fought to the end with firm will. In the process, she repeatedly avoided the opponent’s fatal moves and instead hit the opponent severely. In other words, the amount of effort Yu Guo needed to expend was very small, leaving Wen Ying enough room to counterattack.

However, when he kicked, the professionals immediately saw something was wrong. This was a real kick!

Yu Guo thought with a smile, even if he ate a NG, he could make her fall down in front of everyone. This would be a relief for Tao Zi.

Yet he didn’t even get to laugh for a second when his foot suddenly hurt and he gasped!

He lowered his head suddenly, and then he realized that Wen Ying did not follow the movements of the exchange. Instead, she jumped slightly when his leg swept towards her, and “just happened” to step on his foot when she fell.
