Shadow Orb

Shadow Orb follows the journey of Alex Vonn, a young boy in a world where humans are bonded with mythical creatures known as Tay. Each Tay type grants unique powers, ranging from elemental abilities to physical enhancements, and every child eagerly awaits their bonding ceremony. However, not all are lucky enough to be chosen by a Tay, and when Alex fails to bond with one, he's relegated to the lowest rank, the Epsilon Class.

But Alex holds a secret: his father, who vanished mysteriously years ago, once possessed a rare Tay known as the Shadow Orb—a powerful and elusive Shadow Tay. After enduring ridicule from his classmates and hiding his abilities, Alex soon discovers that he, too, has bonded with the Shadow Orb Tay, though he must conceal this newfound power for his safety. The Shadow Orb grants Alex powerful abilities, including Shadow Flicker (swift movement through shadows) and Shadow Strike (a potent attack enhanced by shadow energy). These abilities evolve over time, making him a formidable, albeit secret, Tay user.

In school, rankings are everything, and each student's power level is displayed on a bracelet. Determined to remain unnoticed, Alex enlists the help of his tech-savvy classmate, Jasper, to alter his bracelet's display, keeping his true strength hidden. As students enter VR pods to compete for higher rankings, Alex navigates the challenges, using his abilities discreetly to survive battles against virtual foes.

As Alex struggles to maintain his secret and understand his Tay's abilities, he uncovers a deeper conspiracy surrounding Tay and the mystery of his father's disappearance. Hidden forces are watching him, and the power of the Shadow Orb may be the key to unlocking not only his potential but also the dark secrets that threaten his world.
