Chapter 70: The Server War begins: World 1213 arrives
*** The day of the Server War… Front Temple of North ***
The Civil Hall, which had been destroyed after Kitty's attack, had been partially rebuilt, albeit in a makeshift manner.
"It seems everyone has taken up a coordination position… Nice" Gemma, the leader of the SbG Alliance, was taking a quick tour one last time with her colleagues who would be leading this region together.
"Yes, our people were quick because they were highly motivated it seems. I am also glad for this." Mermaid, former TTD Alliance leader and now one of the Sgb Alliance R4 executives, responded.
"It's a good thing that Civil Hall was repaired quickly." Another R4 executive, Rebellion, also joined the conversation. "We will use that place as the teleportation point. I placed one of our information members in all critical locations like Shelter, Hills, and even around Throne Jungle…"
"Good, honey." Mermaid was happy that her husband was also at the center of the process. "I hope you told them not to use their Temple teleport rights, which are limited to once a day, unless they have to."
"Of course, dear. General teleportation papers are too hard to find. They were given a strict warning against doing this."
They were right because teleportation cards, unlike the dynamics in the telephone game, are very limited in this World and almost impossible to obtain even from events. The number of players with at least one teleportation card was not even half of the existing number of players, and only a very small number of players had more than one. For this reason, players never used up this card unless there was a life-or-death situation, and preferred to fly with the help of their dragons even for over distances of hundreds of kilometers for long periods. That's why, during Server Wars, if they needed to teleport, they preferred to use the single-right skill command, which allowed them to reach only The Temple of North and then return to the same place.
But of course, the primary purpose of this area was to be used as a battle coordination center for PvP players. Because during Server Wars, all chat rooms were locked, preventing players from communicating with each other. World chat room, alliance chat rooms, individual chat channels... The System only presented generic information to the players, such as announcements of players who had been killed. Technically, only one person registered in the system before the war started was allowed to share information in the chat rooms. For this reason, this person was residing permanently in the Temple during the War, sharing the information physically transmitted by the players who came and went through teleports, and thus trying to maintain the balance of the War for the benefit of that World. Therefore, just like the other four critical areas, its protection was paramount.

— [World Chat is on] —
Player Malik - Hello, dear ladies and gentlemen of this lovely World. Your cute Middle Eastern friend Malik is speaking. I will do my best to help you by providing you with instant information about this war that will begin soon. Of course, depending on the speed at which SbG's lazy informants' come and go...

"Malik of War? Really?" Rebellion, who heard boos from SbG alliance members in the area due to Malik's provocative style being chosen as the World Chat spokesperson and the harassing post he had just made against SbG members, complained to Gemma with a bored smile.
"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"
"BOOOOOOEEEEEEEEEEE!!!"
"GET LOST, LOSEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!"
"Heh, he…" Caught in the middle of all this backlash, Gemma smiled bitterly. "There was a small conflict between our guys and WaR players not long ago. This reaction is just because of it. In fact, the WaR Alliance requested to protect us by surrounding us from 1 kilometer outside. They only made a small request and I accepted."
"Small? I hope you will not regret this…"
"It is not a big thing like that, Merm. As you know, this will be the toughest war we have ever experienced. I know Malik is irrational about most things. But that already makes him perfect for this task. In this mission, we need someone who can establish communication between all alliances and act calmly, controlling his emotions no matter what happens. You know…Despite all the motivation provided by Buck and the fact that almost everyone is working in such consensus for the first time, we may still lose many close friends in this War..."
"..."
"Ok guys, there is less than an hour left until the War begins. Let's begin if you are ready. We just need to station 20 people in the Civil Hall to protect Malik inside. So direct everyone else to guard the area outside the Temple…"
The SbG Alliance was fully deployed to the Temple of the North to manage war information with nearly 100 of its members.

*** 1 kilometer away from the Temple region ****
" We all are ready, Jutchii."
"Good. Our alliance is not as crowded as the others. So tell everyone to shoot a lit arrow into the sky whenever they see the slightest movement. This way, others can immediately go to that direction for help."
"80 people is not that bad. We will succeed!"
Jutchii smiled "Of course, Shane!"

*** Front Shelter of the South ***
The scenery was truly colorful and unique in a way that had never been experienced in this World before. BRe Alliance… oni Alliance… SbG Alliance… War Alliance… xJx Alliance… AnD Alliance… and all the others… All the players who were not killed by the System because they were over 50M power, but were not strong enough, did not feel strong enough, or did not have PvP competence, were gathered here.
"FASTER, GUYS! PLACE EVERYONE IN THE SHELTER SAFELY! THERE ARE A FEW MINUTES LEFT UNTIL THE BATTLE!" Of course except for the AnD Alliance. They had come as an entire alliance because they were given the task of protecting Shelter, the place where players who could not participate in the battle would hide.
West and the alliance's R4 leaders were rapidly making final settlements. According to the system rules, the passage where the giant and imposing structure was located had been opened only 1 hour ago and everyone had started to run quickly.
"It seems all those in need of protection got in the building, West" Aegon of BRe Alliance, previously GbR Alliance, arrived on the field ready with nearly fifty archers from different alliances. While the AnD Alliance would protect Shelter from the outside, the inter-alliance mixed archer unit force led by Aegon was tasked with protecting it from the inside.
More than 200 players from different alliances entered the building for protection also.
"Ok, Aegon. Thanks for all your help. You can get in with your unit too. Take up position on the building Walls and move in a way that will protect those inside. Leave all the outside work to us."
"Thanks to you also, West." After Aegon and her team entered, they locked the giant door, nearly 10 meters high, from the inside. Of course, with a huge noise. And as a result of the system dynamics, the moment the door was locked, a translucent protection hemisphere was activated around the giant building, which was 50 meters high, 100 meters wide, and 100 meters long. Afterward, Aegon's 50-man archery force spread out on the four sides of the building at equal distances on the high walls, prepared their bows and arrows, and began to observe.
"Hi, Ladies!" Muma, one of the xJx R4 executives, quickly approached West and Amrow through the crowd.
"Ah, Muma. Welcome. What's up?"
"Not much. Darkheat decided to assist here."
"Really? Much obliged."
"You are welcome also…" As Muma was finishing her sentence, nearly 60 PvP members of the xJx Alliance who were still alive arrived on the field.
"OK, ALLIANCE ANGELS & DEMONS AND JERICHO ALLIANCES! LET'S PROTECT EVERYONE WITH EVERYTHING WE HAVE!!!"

*** In the middle of the desert, hundreds of kilometers away from all residential areas ***
While the Oni Alliance and all its members were advancing in the middle of the desert, they suddenly stopped upon the leader's signal.
"Is this the right place, Eli?"
"It is not, of course, Lac. However, it is a very central location, allowing us to have a scout distance to spot the floating cemeteries shortly after they appear. My guess is that we are somewhere around the middle of Throne Jungle and other critical areas. Now let's send our patrols in all four directions."
"They all are preparing their dragons and will start in a few minutes."
"Good. Now it's time to divide the tasks. If we detect a single Cemetery, I will undertake the attack mission with 50 other people by riding our dragons onto the floating piece of land in the sky."
"And I can take the lead of the defense team on the ground." Another player from the group called out.
"Sure, Canosfer. You were one of the strongest defensive PvP players in the mobile game. You gained all your power because you donated to the Shrine last week. But please allow me to give you another assist. Baby and LacNam were also too-strong defensive players as you know. You three take the lead of the defensive team, I will give approximately 150 players under your commands. You know, experience it physically, especially in this sh.tty world is something different!"
"Sure, Elizabeth. This would be great for me too."
"And my dear friend, Tenq." Elizabeth looked back. "You and your team will only support the teams in the back that need help if necessary, and then immediately after you succeed, you will retreat and wait again. Whenever a Cemetery appears, hundreds of the undead begin to rain down from the sky as you know. So the battle will be placed here, on the ground, and also in the sky. We need a 3D strategy!"
"What if more than 1 Cemetery appears, Eli?"
"Hah ha. Then the only strategy will be to advance by killing them altogether and shifting to the next Cemetery one by one. This will be much unorganized and harder, but also much more fun."
"We have guests, Eli"
She looked at the large group that was approaching them, following LacNam's warning. "Vietnamese Lov Alliance?" Oni was an alliance made up entirely of Far Eastern players, but it was mixed, meaning it had participants from many countries. Lov, on the other hand, was a more nationalist formation, consisting only of Vietnamese people, and was an alliance that did not communicate much with others.
"Relax. I invited them. They will help us too."
"I don't know what they think about us and the other alliances, but they don't have any blood-eyed members. Ok, LacNam. I trust you in this."

*** Throne Jungle Front's western edge ***
"Damn, I got excited because of the popularity of this place. I hope the enemies will arrive as soon as possible."
"Please be careful what you pray for, Gofu. That means BRe members are harmed"
"Hah, do not pose me as you are an angel without wings on your back, you friend-butcher!"
"What did you say!?" Gofu's aggressive response enraged Pump.
"Ok, take it easy, guys. We will start to scout around the jungle soon. A fight just before that will put us at risk."
"God, when this humanoid friend of yours was able to begin speaking again? He is the only thing I am scared of on this deserted planet!"
"..." Mini maintained his composure, his right half having a completely human appearance, with sparse dragon scales on the left side of his body and a left Kamaitchi wing on his back. He had begun to speak like a human again, but in appearance, he would probably live that way permanently.
"Leave him alone, you blood-thirsty psychopath! He is more human than you!"
Buck had given the patrolling duty around the Throne Jungle to Gofu and the other unallied players. However, due to the Rebels declaring that they would not go along with the plan, Gofu was forced to accept this mission with Pump's party and the remaining twenty non-alliance members. From Pump's group, he and Mini chose to appear in the open, while Cloak...no, Hell, and Shadow Scaar chose to hang around the southern edge of the jungle, thus staying away from the others.

*** Front Sanctuary of the Eastern Hills ***
"Why are we here so early, Buck? Didn't you say that you thought the enemies would realize the situation and come a few hours after the beginning?"
Almost all of the BRe Alliance's players had prepared at the Eastern Hills, except for a few who had chosen to take refuge in the Temple of the North. Meaningly almost 200 players of BRE Alliance were there.
"Yes, I did, Hand. But Kitty's appearance made me think about it twice. I have a bad feeling about it…" After responding to his South Korean friend, Buck activated his player panel, which only each player could see his or her own, and made final checks.
And just a few seconds later, the starting mechanics of the Server War were activated, accompanied by system announcements. The huge Teleport Gate approximately 20 meters high in front of them, with stone carvings resembling medieval figures on it, began to open with a loud bang.
"OK, BRE, YOU KNOW THAT WHEN SOMEONE TRIES TO PASS THE GATE FROM THE OTHER SIDE, INTERNAL FLAMES ENGULF THE OUTER EDGES OF THE GATE. I KINDLY REQUEST WHEN THAT HAPPENS…" Buck had decided to change strategy on that front at the last minute and was about to declare it when he was startled by a second noise coming from the giant gate 100 meters behind him. With the sound of giant flames suddenly appearing in it…
"Holy God, they are coming this suddenly…" In order not to create panic, he only said this sentence in his mind and preferred to say a different thing to his friends. "GET DEFENSIVE FORMATION AND BE ON GUARD, THEY ARE COMING!!!"
But they began to observe another unusual sight. From within the flames, players began to quickly enter their World. Some by running, some by jumping meters high near the upper edge of the Gate. But they were all looking back and holding their weapons back nervously. In fact, since none of them looked forward, they were not even aware that an alliance of this world was waiting for them there.
The reason became clear just a few seconds later. As soon as the enemy players arrived, a barrage of ranged attacks consisting of over a hundred arrows followed them.
"ACTIVATE SHIELDS!!!" Following Jan's command, all BRe players knelt down, raising their shields above their heads.
But something strange happened again, and there was almost no sound of an arrow striking or hitting any of the shields. They waited a few more seconds and then stood up again to see what had happened, but this time they were astonished by what they saw.
Only a few arrows had reached them and missed. All the remaining arrows rained down on the enemy players that had just reached their World, killing a third of them and injuring half of the remaining ones.
"F.CK! F.CK! F.CCCCCCKKK! WE ARE STUCK!' Half of the nearly 50 enemy players who were unharmed by the arrows were facing them, waiting in extreme stress, while the other half were also facing the giant Gate. The injured players were trying to be protected between these two groups.
"Well… well… well… Didn't I warn you about this, Katie Scarlet! You should wait on the other side…" The gate flames would disappear a few seconds after they were activated, due to system mechanics. And that's how it happened now. The first group to arrive was partially damaged by the flames because of their haste. But the group that was coming now was arriving there completely safely. "But you risked all of us and tried to come here before the warriors that I chose for this War. So this is yours and your members' punishment as a result of your disobedience."
"F.CK OFF, YOU TYRANT ONE! WE ALL DESERVE TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS. MANY INNOCENT ONES DIED BECAUSE OF YOUR SELFISH STRATEGIES TO INCREASE ONLY YOUR ALLIANCE MEMBERS' POWER UNTIL NOW! THAT IS WHY WE WANTED TO INTERVENE IN THIS ONE, WE EVEN INFORMED YOU ABOUT THIS BEFORE. AND NOW YOU DID THIS! HOW CAN YOU DO THIS TO US, RHAP???"
"Now, now… There is no need for the speeches due to the current situation. Enemies are behind you as you see. If you are killed by them, it will not be beneficial for our Server War score, Katie. So be calm and let us purge (kill) you all, PYE Alliance since you want to help other players of our World."
.
.
.
The BRe members, who were thrown into the void by the unexpected situation they encountered, looked at each other in surprise.
"I have zero clue what's happening! What now, Buck?"
"Wait I did not understand the situation well also, Miha. We need to observe more. Wait until there is a new attack against anyone… To us or these people!"
