Chapter 148: Cultivator Mistook Male Centaur for an Umamusume’s Game Character and Attempted to “Train” It Sexually.
Xiao Ma sized up Fu Tong. Upon sensing the aura of a quasi-saint, he scoffed at Fu Tong in disdain.
"The great sage? Heaven's equal? Pfft. You lunatic narcissist! So, was it you who killed my son? Were you also called by the name Lu Bu?!"
"What of it? Like it? It's a great name." Fu Tong snickered.
Xiao Ma calmly pulled the bowstring, nocking multiple arrows made of karma coins. One of them had a suspicious black glow. He mocked Fu Tong.
"You're a funny guy. You know what? I'm feeling merciful. Cut off your right arm and destroy your dantian. I'll spare you and your people. However, they'll serve me as slaves for the rest of their lives!"
Fu Tong rolled his eyes. "Are all villains like you? Just kill me, if you can."
"Then die!"
Xiao Ma fired the first shot. Seven arrows flew from the bow, traveling toward Fu Tong in seven different directions as if they were alive.
Fu Tong floated still, and all arrows hit him.
Xiao Ma scoffed in disappointment. He had hoped that Fu Tong would struggle and make it more entertaining.
"How dullard. Is that all?"
As Fu Tong's body gradually turned into glass shards and disappeared, Xiao Ma turned to the crowd below. Upon seeing Li Wushuang, Jin Yu, Ji Zixuan, and the other beauties, he paused.
"Killing you all would be a waste. I'll spare you if you surrender and swear allegiance to me!"
Nobody responded to the demand. The girls raised their eyebrows and smirked.
Xiao Ma frowned. Furious at their reaction, he bellowed. "Wenches! When I'm done with you, I'll throw you into the orc's dungeon! Those beasts haven't had a woman in years, and I'm sure they will like you—!"
The centaur paused mid-sentence. From his rear orifice, he sensed a sharp, cold object penetrating his horse's body. Surprised, he turned around and discovered Fu Tong. In his hand was a glowing sword stabbing into his anus.
Fu Tong waved his free hand and smiled.
"Hi."
"Y-You!!"
"That was a realistic illusion, wasn't it? Anyway, your horsey ass needs to get bleached. I mean, goddamn, when was the last time you wiped your ass, bruh?"
While Fu Tong mocked Xiao Ma, he twisted his sword, adjusting the blade's edge vertically. With a smooth motion, he sliced down, cleaving his stomach and severing his manhood in half.
Xiao Ma screamed in pain and horror. He sensed his soul being damaged, and his dantian in the horse physique was destroyed.
Despite being critically injured, Xiao Ma roared and teleported, reappearing a kilometer away from Fu Tong, but he was located north of the Divine Cloud City. He endured the pain and concentrated on healing his horse physique.
The skin around his wound turned black instantly, not because of Xiao Ma's abilities but from Fu Tong's sword. The purgatory curse demonstrated its power for the first time.
According to Fu Tong's mod, which the developers had left untouched, the curse rotted the victim's soul. The victim's attempt to mend their injury actually sped up the decay.
Death by the curse was worse than death by karma weapons. Karma weapons erased souls, but purgatory curses permanently degraded the person's soul until they could no longer reincarnate as an intelligent being. Their imperfect souls would be trapped at the bottom of the Karmic River for the rest of eternity to be eaten by other hungry souls.
Xiao Ma continued screaming in pain and confusion. The rotting skin spread toward his humanoid body parts and rapidly reached his head. The rotting skin consumed him, his brain, his human dantian, and his soul. While floating in mid-air, he dried up and disintegrated into black dust.
Jin Yu whistled. Not even one second did she doubt her husband.
"Very scary technique, husband. What was that?"
Fu Tong put the sword away and returned to his family. He explained.
"My sword is just too OP."
Li Wushuang stepped up. She knew that Fu Tong had taken the divine feather sword from her sect's secret treasure vault, but she sensed something odd about Fu Tong's current sword.
"It seems different from before. What did you do to my sect's heirloom?"
"Oh, the sword? I've upgraded it. It's a sage-grade sword now."
"…Sage, what?!"
It would take a while to explain everything. Fu Tong invited his wives back to their manor and caught up with what he had been doing on the farm dimension.

Imperial Palace, Immortal Realm
Nazzeck remained in his guest house, meditating and divining his future. As the only child of the Time Lord, he aspired to usurp his father's title and become the sole ruler of the universe.
Unfortunately, his father disowned him for no reason. The Time Lord's subordinates and fellow sages also changed overnight. They stopped interacting with him and looked at Nazzeck in disdain.
Nazzeck was not stupid. Given his history, their reaction was consistently the same when they anticipated an era-changing event that would affect them. Since they targeted him for no reason, Nazzeck spent his limited divine power to foresee his fate.
He saw it.
A showdown between him and Fu Tong was predetermined, and the result was not in his favor. Nazzeck would perish in 9,999 out of 10,000 potential scenarios. Upon his death, those not at the sage level would start to doubt the sages and their ethics. Because the sages lost the faith of those who followed them, their power declined in the ensuing years. And soon, their cultivation degraded to the saint stage.
The sages knew this. The Time Lord was also aware of Fu Tong's influence in the future, and they had been preparing for his ascension. Some sages disagreed and wished to erase Fu Tong's existence. However, when they divined their fates, everybody cowered and changed their minds.
The Heavenly Dao, the singularity and the deity of all, came up with a solution. He already offered a method for Fu Tong and his family to leave this universe and stay in a parallel universe forever. Meng Tian also approved of this.
But before that could happen, Nazzeck would be sacrificed as a scapegoat along with Dong Huang, Xia Chen, and others.
Nazzeck opened his eyes. He understood the games of the Heavenly Dao and the other sages.
"Curse you all."
He groaned in frustration and closed his eyes once more, divining his fate again.
This time, he explored the potential future of him and Fu Tong working together to overthrow the sages.
He instantly found a way.
The key was the seven fated children: Long Hao, Pei Gui Hong, Meng Tianrui, Xia Chen, Lu Liekong, Fang Yuan, and Xiao Ri. Should they disappear, Fu Tong would no longer focus on the higher realms. However, Fu Tong was destined to become progressively invincible, surpassing the Heavenly Dao.
Nazzeck could survive, but he would lose all his precious allies.
He pondered the pros and the cons. After a day of considering, he came to a conclusion.
Surviving the ordeal took priority. Once Fu Tong left the universe, he could survive and thrive as a saint. Even if he couldn't return as a sage, it was better than dying.
