The team members looked at Ye Yan attacking the Gigantic Wicked Turtle as a superhero, but Ye Yan is not Thor and the cheap hammer he is using is a wood quality item, not the divine weapon Mjolnir.

Ye Yan attacked the boss and soon after, taking advantage of the boss's moves, he got away from it.

After seeing Ye Yan's moves, the other physical classes started using similar methods to deal damage to the boss.

Soon, the boss died and his body started to fall to the underwater cave floor. The battle was hard because they have still to get used to this kind of battle and the boss is too strong in the water. If they were fighting it on Hell Mode, the team wouldn't stand even two minutes against the boss.

They were fighting on Normal Mode this time, thus it was hard to defeat the boss but not impossible.

The boss only dropped some pieces of turtle meat, turtle skin, and shell plates after dying. They hope that later, in harder versions of this dungeon, the boss drops something better.

They can use the skin and the shell plates to make armor, and the meat to cook. But the items aren't valuable.

They continue swimming and killing monsters until they finally could see the end of the underwater tunnel.

After defeating the second boss, they could finally reach the area where the tunnel changes to dry land.

After more than one hour of swimming, and fighting while swimming, they were really happy for walking on dry land again.

Sadly, Ye Yan's happiness wouldn't last long. In truth, what comes next will be worse than a nightmare for him.

After walking through the tunnel for a few seconds, they got to a wide area that looks to be the pirates' storage. The area is very spacious with many old wooden chests scattered in the cave.

They didn't enter the cave as soon as they got there but waited for some time to observe the place. They look around and when I Love Skooma was going to walk inside to look for traps, he noticed something moving next to one of the chests on the right side of the cave.

I Love Skooma pointed to the reddish-brown thing moving in the distance. Soon, they observed many spots, similar in color, moving all over the cave.

"Fuck!" Conan and Demon Fox cursed at the same time, accompanied by screams from Hello Kitty, Snow White, and My Girl.

"The battle doesn't even begin and we already lose three members," Conan said exasperated.

"Hello Kitty and Snow White can fight at long distances, so there is no problem. And My Girl isn't serious." Ashardalon explained to Conan and Demon Fox.

"We weren't thinking about him." Both Conan and Demon Fox looked at Ye Yan that was paralyzed on the spot.

Ye Yan's body stayed at the same place it was when he entered the storage cave. They would think he was petrified if it wasn't for the fact that his body is shaking uncontrollably.

Ye Yan wasn't cursed or attacked by some skill. The reason he is like this is that he is paralyzed by fear. The only thing in his mind now is the monsters he is seeing from a distance.

[Cockroaches! Cockroaches! Dozen of cockroaches!] Ye Yan is repeating these words again and again in his mind.

He thought he was safe from the Crookroaches when he decided to not do the quest on the sewers. But now, in a place surrounded by water, where he had to swim to reach, those damn creatures appeared.

[How can this damn thing appear everywhere? No matter where you are, one fucking cockroach always pops out of nowhere to haunt people.] Ye Yan's mind stopped working. The thought about cockroaches fried his brain, making him unable to fight.

"What's happening?" Ashardalon asked when he noticed Ye Yan's actions or the lack of them.

"Ye Yan is terrified of cockroaches. He usually runs away when he sees one, but now..." Demon Fox said and look at the dozen of cockroaches in the distance, "Maybe too many cockroaches are fatal for him."

Conan sighed and continue to explain after Demon Fox. "When he was a child, his parents made him eat strange things, including cockroaches. He became traumatized and now he can't see those disgusting things that 'this' happen." Conan pointed to the paralyzed Ye Yan when he was almost done speaking.

"I have eaten part of a cockroach in the past too, but I don't have this problem. It was inside the bread and when I felt a strange taste, I looked at it and found out that there was a cockroach inside. It was a terrible experience but I got over it soon after." Mage of the Cold Nights told her own life experience to the others, which provokes a reaction in Ye Yan.

When Ye Yan heard what Mage of the Cold Nights said, he turned his head and looked at her with pity in his eyes.

For the first time in his life, Ye Yan felt that someone had a worse experience with food than him. At least, those disgusting things were reared in captivity and sterilized before eating.

However, in Mage of Cold Nights case, she ate a disgusting cockroach fresh from the sewers, and maybe with residues of substances that he does not even want to know what is made. Just thinking of that, Ye Yan started to get goosebumps all over his body.

Strange how things are. When you think that another person has a worse experience, you sometimes start to thought about your own experience in a not-so-heavy way compared to before.

It is not that Ye Yan is no longer terrified of cockroaches but he thought that maybe he can try to fight them. They are not real after all and there is no way that he will eat such a thing ever again.

Poor Ye Yan, he doesn't know that in truth, he eats cockroaches pieces every week. 

Ye Yan loves to eat chocolate but average chocolate bars contain insect parts. According to the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), there are more than 60 insect pieces per 100 grams of chocolate. 

Food manufactures are legally allowed to produce food with traces of insects like cockroaches parts. They are considered[span] safe[/span] for consumption if not eaten in excess because it is considered natural contamination.

He was never afraid of cockroaches and the like but he always remembered the taste of it when he sees one. That's why he wants to be as far away he can from it, so he can also keep the memory away.

Ye Yan tried to man up and took a step forward. He took a deep breath and continue approaching his friends.

Conan and Demon Fox looked at Ye Yan in awe. They would never think that would be a day when he could walk normally, or at least almost normally, with cockroaches not far from him.

"You will tank them." Ye Yan said to Ashardalon. He took a step forward in the path of overcome his trauma, but it didn't mean he can stay in front of so many disgusting things with no problem. 

Ye Yan took another deep breath and took the weapon with the longest handle he has stored from his space bag. 

His hammer has only a 1-meter long handle. It isn't much but better than nothing. He wished he had a broom now, to help him kill those things. 

At least, Ye Yan is in a better situation than I Love Skooma that only has his daggers or poison skills that need the touch action, to fight.

Everyone got ready for battle and Ashardalon went forward to attract the cockroaches.

[Crookroach] (Normal)

Description: Sewers creatures from the other side of the globe that were taken to the Yan Empire through ships. This cheating cockroach can trick anyone to get a free ride.

The crookroaches they were going to battle are the most disgusting of them all, the American species, but the size of the Madagascan cockroaches with 5 to 9 cm (~1.9 to 3.54 inches).

Ye Yan feels a little luck for the cockroaches in the game to be bigger than normal. It is easier to kill like that and the chances of it survive and craw over the weapon in the direction of his hand and feet is small.

After Ashardalon started the fight with a dozen of crookroaches, keeping them away from the others using his shield, his teammates started to attack.

Ye Yan stayed behind Ashardalon while using his hammer to kill the crookroaches. He is using his hammer in a very strange way, as he is holding it by the tip of the handle, to stay the bigger distance away as he can from the monsters.

Although the party has to face many cockroaches, they started to smile seeing Ye Yan's actions. They never thought it possible that someone like him would act in this way.

While the others were fighting while laughing at him, Ye Yan was only hoping that Ashardalon could control the situation well, because there is no way in hell that he would use his skill [Provoke] and [Roar] to help him.

Luckily, they soon killed every crookroach in the area, for Ye Yan's relief.

After the fight ended, the players went to open the chests while Ye Yan waited for them at the exit of the area. He prefers to stay as far as possible from the cockroaches' bodies. Those things can even live without their heads for days. He didn't trust that every one of them is really dead.
