School Beauty's Invincible Martial Expert

Chapter 026: A Bunch of Madmen

The classroom's entrance was already crowded with dozens of media reporters as Li Hengzhong rushed to the Hanmen Training Class early in the morning, planning to talk personally with Xiao Han. Even more, over a hundred parents surrounded the entrance of the Hanmen Training Class, and inside the classroom, a hundred students neatly sat, their expressions relaxed yet filled with anticipation.

They felt they were the lucky ones, for if they had been just a step slower before, they might have ended up like those outside, unable to set foot inside this classroom.

They were grateful and happy.

"Look at those people, still hoping to get into the classroom." Jiang Xiaoliang said disdainfully.

"Exactly." Another boy grinned, "Now it's too late, haha..."

In the classroom, these naïve children seemed a bit too pleased with themselves.

At the classroom doorway, two men in security uniforms stood guard, not allowing anyone near. Big Fatty Li no longer wanted to attract public attention; he had grown thoroughly weary of the pestering he'd faced lately. He hid behind the crowd, silently smoking a cigarette by himself.

Everyone waited patiently.

Just as everyone craned their necks in anticipation, Xiao Han, wearing a mask, entered the classroom through the back door.

"Here he comes, he's here!" the crowd yelled out, turning the scene somewhat chaotic.

Media reporters and a group of parents crowded around, the reporters trying to seize the opportunity to interview this mysterious teacher while the parents were eager to talk to him, hoping to get their children into the Hanmen Training Class. The scene was momentarily in disarray.

At that moment, Big Fatty Li quickly rushed forward and immediately blocked the back door.

The two security guards at the front door also promptly sealed it off.

"Ladies and gentlemen," the security guard hastily said, "it's time for the Hanmen class to start. If you have any questions, please wait until after class or find our person in charge at another time."

A sly smile curled at the corners of Big Fatty Li's mouth.

The crowd gradually quieted down as Xiao Han, mask on, slowly walked up to the podium. Beneath the podium, over a hundred students sat quietly and neatly in the classroom. Each one's eyes filled with admiration and reverence.

After the recent city-wide joint exam, all the students greatly admired this mysterious teacher. He had singularly improved the scores of eighty percent of the students present, an impossible feat for any school or educational institution.

"After this city-wide joint exam, I am very pleased with your results," Xiao Han smiled and then continued, "But, we must not become arrogant. We must push against the current or risk falling behind. We need to keep improving ourselves. Alright, let's continue with the content we discussed last time..."

As Xiao Han became more familiar with the students, his teaching style grew more natural, witty, and humorous, occasionally interacting with the students in the room.

And these teenagers, in the midst of their formative years, were deeply curious about this mysterious teacher.

After the morning session was over,

"Teacher, can you let us see what you look like?" suddenly, a girl stood up.

"Yeah, let us see what you look like!" many students chimed in.

Chen Zihan was sitting in the second row, also curiously staring at Xiao Han, wondering what kind of face and what kind of person lay behind that mask. Handsome and charming? Mysteriously concealing? Or disfigured?

Many were curious about the face of this mysterious teacher, and they would often discuss privately what he might look like, but no one had ever made such a request before.

Now, someone finally voiced the curiosity that everyone felt, getting all the students excited.

"Want to know?" Xiao Han's lips slightly curled up.

After becoming acquainted with them, Xiao Han had fully embraced his role as a teacher, shedding his initial shyness and nervousness. He even inwardly viewed himself as their teacher, the mentor of a hundred students present. Xiao Han leaned on the podium with one hand, flashing a handsome smile.

"We do!" the crowd shouted at the top of their lungs.

"Sorry, you can't!" Xiao Han's smile abruptly ceased, and he coldly picked up the lecture notes, swiftly leaving through the back door.

But by then, the back door was already swarmed with media reporters and parents. Big Fatty Li approached asking, "What should we do?"

"Let's squeeze through!" Xiao Han gestured with his hand.

"Okay!" Big Fatty Li then said, "I'll clear the way in front, just follow me."

With that, Big Fatty Li opened the door. At the doorway, over a hundred parents blocked the path, their eyes eager, their expressions excited, each with their own plea — to get their child into the Hanmen Training Class.

"Make way!" Big Fatty Li used his robust body to carve a path through the crowd, with Xiao Han walking out head down, one hand on Big Fatty Li's shoulder.

Li Hengzhong also hurried after them.

Big Fatty Li and Xiao Han moved quickly, swiftly descending from the upper floors. After reaching downstairs, they ran all the way and found a corner to hide.

Puffing...

Li Dapang exhaled a cloud of murky air and then said, "Damn, these madmen."

"Don't say that," Xiao Han laughed. "These are the parents, Chinese-style education, which breaks their hearts. They do it all for the sake of their children."

"That's true," Li Dapang nodded, saying, "What are you going to do if they come to block the door every day?"

"They won't," Xiao Han shook his head, "The storm will pass quickly."

"Sigh..." Li Dapang sighed and shook his head, saying, "Damn, these past few days, I've nearly gone crazy. So many people went to my house to ask for a back door connection. Even my relatives and those distant relatives I barely know showed up..."

"Haha..." Xiao Han burst into loud laughter.

Li Dapang glared at Xiao Han irritably, saying, "You heartless guy. I'm almost annoyed to death, and you're laughing at me."

While they were speaking, suddenly, a figure appeared in front of them.

"Li... Principal Li!" Li Dapang, cigarette in hand, immediately became nervous.

"Xiao Han!" Li Hengzhong completely ignored Li Dapang and fixed his gaze on Xiao Han. At that moment, Xiao Han was leaning against a wall, his arms cradling textbooks, covered in chalk dust. Seeing Li Hengzhong, Xiao Han's expression slightly changed. He hurriedly stood straight and said, "Principal Li, you..."

Li Dapang glanced at the two and quickly said, "I... I've got something else, I'll go first. You guys talk!"

After saying that, Li Dapang ran off. Despite weighing around 180 pounds, he ran like the wind.

Watching Li Dapang's figure, Xiao Han couldn't help but curse, "Damn fatty!"

"It wasn't easy to find you!" Li Hengzhong, dressed in a crisp white shirt, suit pants, and black leather shoes, glasses perched on his nose, looked lively and energetic.

"What do you need me for, Principal Li?" Xiao Han asked curiously.

Over the past month, Xiao Han had experienced many aspects of life's warmth and coldness and had tasted its myriad flavors. His heart had matured, and even chatting with Li Hengzhong, he no longer felt the initial nervousness and reserve. He habitually spoke to Li Hengzhong in an adult tone, especially wearing such a "mask," it seemed to hide his greenness and naivety.

"Let's find a place to talk in detail," Li Hengzhong smiled, "How about a coffee shop?"

Xiao Han hesitated for a moment, then quickly agreed, "Okay!"

"Come on, my car is parked on the roadside!" Li Hengzhong chuckled.

Principal Li truly admired talents like Xiao Han. This time, the citywide joint exam had indeed greatly improved the students' performances at the Hanmen Training Class, making Li Hengzhong very curious about Xiao Han, wanting to understand what sort of person could have such ability.

Black Volkswagen Passat.

Li Hengzhong drove himself, with Xiao Han in the passenger seat.

The Passat was quite spacious, with ample space in both the front and back seats. The moment he settled into the sedan, Xiao Han suddenly felt an impulse, a wild desire to own a car.

As someone not well-versed in cars, the moment Xiao Han entered the Passat, he was captivated by it. Of course, before driving, one must learn and perhaps even pull some strings to spend more money and buy a driver's license without willing to go to driving school.

Throughout the ride, Xiao Han remained silent, mulling over whether to get a driver's license and then buy a car. It would make traveling to college much easier, and he could often drive back on weekends to visit his mom.

Seeing Xiao Han's silence, Li Hengzhong smiled, saying, "Are you constantly wondering why I sought you out?"

"No!" Xiao Han shook his head.

"Then what are you thinking about?" Li Hengzhong asked curiously.

"I'm thinking about when I can buy a car!" Xiao Han laughed.

"Haha..." Li Hengzhong immediately burst into laughter, saying, "You really are an honest person."

The car entered the city center and stopped in front of a coffee shop.

After entering the coffee shop, Li Hengzhong ordered a latte and Xiao Han asked for a juice. They sat facing each other.

"How does it feel?" Li Hengzhong asked.

"Pretty good," Xiao Han nodded slightly, saying, "Work is fulfilling, I spend a lot of time preparing lessons, making sure to thoroughly explain the concepts, and trying to make my lectures lively and interesting. It makes them realize that studying is not a boring task but rather an interesting one."

"Good, it's indeed a topic worth pondering!" Li Hengzhong laughed.

"Principal Li, did you seek me out for something?" Xiao Han asked.
