Chapter 14: Sakura's Happiness, Ayame
Sasuke always knew how to surprise Sakura!
Her eyes shone with affection. "Sasuke, your cooking is even better than the Ichiraku Ramen shop owner's."
"If you opened a ramen shop on Konoha Street, business would be booming!"
"The food I make with my own hands is only for the ones I love. Outsiders wouldn't get a taste even if they offered money," Sasuke replied confidently.
Sakura blushed, feeling a warm sense of happiness. "Dear, I want to do something for you too."
In the Naruto world, it was common for wives to cook for their husbands, but Sakura's cooking skills were... well, best left unmentioned.
Sasuke chuckled. "You already make me happy. That's enough, my dear wife."
He had no intention of forcing Sakura to learn how to cook. Everyone had their strengths and weaknesses, and there was no need to push her into something she wasn't good at.
Thanks to the 'Invincible Sign-In System', Sasuke could acquire professional skills just by signing in. For Sakura to start from scratch would be too difficult.
…
While eating Sasuke's delicious ramen, Sakura shyly said, "No matter what you ask of me, dear, I'll do it."
Even if it was something incredibly embarrassing, Sakura would not refuse.
As long as Sasuke was happy, so was she.
…
The day passed quickly.
Sasuke, full of energy and vigor, cherished every moment with Sakura after her meal.
…
Kizashi Haruno, Sakura's father, had a dark expression. As her father, he couldn't ignore the changes in Sakura's behavior.
Sakura was utterly infatuated with Sasuke and was willing to do anything for him.
Mebuki Haruno also wore a grim look. This Sasuke was going too far.
The way he acted so brazenly, she wanted nothing more than to give the brat a harsh lesson.
But Sasuke's warning from the previous night lingered in their minds. If they pushed Sakura too hard, she might actually move in with Sasuke.
That would only make things worse.
Damn it!
…
Sasuke casually greeted Kizashi and Mebuki before bidding farewell to Sakura.
"Sakura, see you tomorrow at the ninja academy."
Tomorrow was the academy's graduation exam, and Sasuke planned to shine brightly, leaving everyone in awe.
He wanted Sakura to witness just how invincible and impressive her husband was.
"Mm, Sasuke, see you tomorrow."
Right in front of her parents, Sakura sweetly bid Sasuke goodbye, showing off their love.
…
What Sakura couldn't have imagined was that after she happily returned home, her dear Sasuke was already on his way to Ichiraku Ramen.
After sleeping all morning, Sasuke was in excellent physical and mental shape.
Since he had spent last night with Ayame, the ramen shop owner's daughter, he felt it only right to visit her again tonight.
He didn't want Ayame feeling neglected or sad.
Unlike Sakura, Ayame wasn't a ninja.
Sakura, even though she hadn't graduated as a genin, had been training since childhood and could withstand Sasuke's "intensity."
Ayame, on the other hand, had no such training. Despite being more physically mature than Sakura, she struggled to endure Sasuke's relentless passion.
Even after sleeping all day, her body hadn't fully recovered.
…
Ichiraku Ramen's owner, Teuchi, had been waiting for Ayame to come help all day.
When she finally arrived in the evening, her face was flushed, and she walked with a slight wobble.
"Sorry, Dad, I overslept," Ayame said, avoiding her father's gaze.
"Are you feeling unwell?" Teuchi asked, noticing how weak she seemed.
"No, I'm fine," she replied, forcing a smile.
"Are you sure? You look exhausted," he said, still worried.
"I'm fine, really. Dad, you've been busy all day. I'll handle the shop tonight, so you can go home and rest," Ayame offered.
"You smell like sweat. Go take a bath."
Though reluctant, Teuchi sniffed his shirt and realized she was right.
"Alright then, it's getting late anyway. Make sure to close up early, and be careful."
After Teuchi left, the ramen shop was quiet. Ayame sat lost in thought, her mind a mess.
Her body still ached from the previous night, but when she thought about Sasuke—an Uchiha, so handsome and charming—she couldn't bring herself to regret anything.
Just as her face turned red with embarrassment at her wandering thoughts, Sasuke appeared.
"You silly girl, what are you thinking about?" Sasuke teased, stepping into the shop.
