It's time!

Yuta stepped out of the dim hideout into the open, the cold air brushing against his face. His eyes scanned the area, taking in the numerous guards patrolling the perimeter. "Too many... can't fight them all," he muttered. With a flick of his hand, the ground shifted; sand surged upward like a sudden desert storm, blinding and disorienting the guards. Shouts echoed as they scrambled to react. Yuta didn't wait—he molded sand wings at his back and soared into the sky. The wind whipped past as he flew away, the chaos below ensuring no one followed him—this time.

I'm free!!

Before the guards could get a grasp of what just happened, he had escaped–Yuta had escaped. 

Since it was dark, perhaps around 10 p.m., Yuta could hardly see where he was going, and he believed his mom was furious.

What I'm I gonna tell her?

Yuta shook his head after he flew for approximately 10-15 minutes after escaping. Lowering himself to the ground, he was unsure of what to do.

Should he fly all the way home? Or should he drop down and take the road?

He undoubtedly understands that using his quirk is against the law, and if a hero witnesses him doing so, it may be too much for him or his mother to endure.

He would likely fight back to get away even if he were spotted by a hero, but he isn't yet prepared to face off against any of the top ten heroes.

Yuta hadn't even eaten a decent breakfast or slept through the day, so he wasn't in a good enough state to fight anyone at this time.

He was abducted for human trafficking after collapsing on his way home after exceeding his daily limit twice. After resting for an hour during the day, he resumed fighting with his quirk while enduring pains in his muscles.

Isn't he tired? Yes, he was…

Yuta dropped down from the air slowly as he dispatched the sandy wings that clung to his back. "Perhaps I'll locate a hotel in the area so I can relax.." He hummed to himself.

But how will he find a hotel? 

Oh…fuck!! No wallet! No phone! No credit card.

He realized.

Fuck shit!!

Yuta was hopeless since he could barely see anyone closeby to ask for directions. 

Wait… What if he used his quirk to camp for the night?

Oh no! He can't…

Yuta wandered around the city in the middle of the night looking for where to spend the night. After hours of wandering, his head became dizzy while his visions started fading away.

He was standing next to a street pole when he noticed a car approaching. He raced into the middle of the road and waved his hands at the approaching cab as it got closer and closer and realised it was a taxi.

"Hey, brat! Get out of the way! Can't you see it's the middle of the night!" The man exclaimed, bringing out his head outside the window. 

The taxi was coming with a decent speed while Yuta still stood in the middle of the road waving his hands ignoring the shit the driver just said.

"Taxi…!" Yuta exclaimed with all his strength.

Matching the brakes, the tires screeched as the taxi got slower and slower as it stopped just a few inches away from Yuta who stood still while waving.

"Do you wanna die?!" The taxi driver yelled.

"I will pass away when the time comes, but I truly need to get home, and I'm lost, so could you kindly help me?" Yuta knelt down as he pleaded for the man to drive him home. "I lost my phone and wallet so I really don't have any money with me."

"Huh?How did you get here in the first place without a phone or wallet if you don't know how to get home?"

"Although it's complex, this is the reality. Could you help me go home? I swear to pay you back whenever we cross paths.."

"Get your ass inside my Lamborghini brat." 

Eh? This..lamborghini? Don't make me laugh! 

Yuta hopped in the back of the cab and gave the taxi driver his house address. The driver fired the engine as he tightened his seat belt and drove off. Yuta finally got home after a long drive since he normally uses the train whenever he's going for training.

Yuta hopped down the taxi as he bowed and thanked the driver several times. "Thank you so much, mister."

"You're not welcome, brat. Since you're grown, next time don't ever lose your wallet or your phone. You're not a kid."

"Well then, goodnight."

Yuta was very thankful for the man who helped him and not just that, the man also advised him and he took note of that. Waving off the man, he closed his eyes and took in a deep breath before unlocking the door.

The door creaked open as Yuta walked inside his house and saw his mom on the couch who tilted her head down.

"H-Hey mo-" Yuta couldn't finish his statement before he felt his mother's whole palm on his right cheek. Before Yuta could say anything else, his mom broke into tears as she hugged him while Yuta broke into tears also in his mother's arms.

"I'm so sorry mom. Sorry for making you so worried."

"Say..Yuta, what happened? I tried calling you thousands of times but it was unreachable and seeing the day getting so late, I can't get myself to sleep."

"I'm sorry mom..but it's gonna be alright. I'm here for you now. Sincerely, I had to go back and look for my wallet and phone after losing them on the way home, but I was unable to locate them.I had to walk, but when someone saw me, he told me to hop into his cab, which provided me a free ride home.."

"You stink like a pig…go take your bath and come downstairs for your late night dinner."

"Sure mom, but first you have to let me loose so I can go take my bath."

"Shut up, cheeky brat and don't tell your mom what to do."

"Okay okay."

Yuta broke free from his mother's embrace and walked upstairs to his bedroom. Pushing the door to his bedroom open, he walked inside and went straight to the shower.

Getting his body soaked with the warm water, he began to think what kind of human traffickers those guys were.

Do they sell human parts for money?

Yuta knew either way or the other he's gonna uncover the truth behind them and with that, he turned off the shower and cleaned his body.

Walking downstairs, his stomach grumbled loudly when his nose piqued the nice aroma of food coming from the kitchen.

He got to the dining table and took his seat while his mom dished his portion of food.

Itadakimasu!!

He ate his fill and got a second and third round of miso soup since he hadn't eaten any proper food throughout the whole day.

"Is it amazing?"

"Sure mom. You're the best." 

After enjoying his dinner, Yuta sat in his chair for approximately five more minutes in order to let his stomach settle a bit and allow him to return to his bedroom.

Five minutes passed as he let out a sigh and got his ass out of the dining room. 

"Mom, can you promise me you won't wake me up in the morning please?"

"Hm..sure, why?"

"I haven't gotten some decent rest in a while so can you do me the favour of helping prepare breakfast and lunch for me before going to work?"

"Alright, go have some rest. I love you sweetie."

"Goodnight and I love you too mom."

Yuta's mom hugged him and gave Yuta a goodnight kiss on his forehead while moving upstairs as he shut and locked his bedroom door and jumped on his bed.

He turned from staring at the ceiling to the world clock that was affixed to the wall of his room. He noticed that it was twenty-five minutes to one, which was around the early hours of the next day.

"In addition to having to study for my upcoming test, I suppose I should go buy a brand-new phone tomorrow at the very least.." 

He hummed to himself with a calm tone, "but what should I do about those human traffickers? I should probably train some more before investigating that."

Wonder what kind of mastermind is behind it all.

Yuta knew deep down that he would most likely battle for the second time and deal with the mastermind himself if he could find him.

Well, that's that. Time to sleep!

Yuta got up, turned out the lights, and then he closed his eyes, wrapped his blanket around himself, and lay back in bed. Yuta fell asleep in a matter of seconds as his snoring grew louder.
