Rita's Unseen Destiny.

 As Carlson and Rita settled into their cozy home, they began to wind down for the night. But just as they were about to drift off to sleep, Rita suddenly remembered something important. " Oh no, I almost forgot! My antenatal appointment is tomorrow!" She exclaimed, her eyes wide with excitement.

 Carlson looked at her with a curious expression. "That's right! I remember now. You told me about it last week." 

 Rita nodded, her mind racing. " I was supposed to go to work tomorrow, but I can't miss this appointment. I will have to take a day off.

 Carlson smiled understandingly. "Don't worry, I will go to work alone tomorrow. You focus on taking care of yourself and our little one. "

 But Rita had an idea. " Wait, why don't you come with me to the appointment? I would love you to be there!"

 Carlson's face lit up with a warm smile. I would love it too! I want to be a part of every moment of this journey with you."

 The next day, Carlson and Rita arrived at the hospital, hand in hand. They were greeted by the friendly health care providers, who led them to the ultrasound room.

 "Today, we shall be doing a scan to check on the baby's progress, "the health care provider explained, as Rita lay down on the examination table. Carlson held Rita's hand tightly, his eyes fixed on the screen, as the health care provider began to scan. And then suddenly, they saw a tiny, perfect baby girl waving at them from the screen.

 "We are having a girl!" Rita exclaimed, her voice trembling with joy.

 "Carlson grinned, his eyes shinning with happiness." We are having a daughter!"

 The health care provider smiled, nodding." Yes, congratulations! Your baby girl is now six months old, and she is healthy and strong." 

Rita and Carlson left the hospital that day with huge smiles on their faces, their hearts full of joy and excitement for the future. They knew that their lives were about to change in ways they never thought possible, but they were ready to face what came their way, as long as they had each other.

 As they walked out of the hospital, Carlson turned to Rita with a beaming smile. "We are having a daughter! Can you believe it?" 

 Rita's eyes sparkled with happiness. " I know it's amazing! I can't wait to meet her."

 Carlson put his arm around Rita's shoulders, pulling her close. "Me neither. I am so excited about being a dad."

 Rita leaned into his embrace, feeling grateful for that moment. I am so glad we get to share this experience together." 

 As they walked home, hand in hand, Rita couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder. She was going to be a mom! And Carlson was going to be an amazing dad.

 When they got home, Rita couldn't wait to share the news with her mum and dad. She quickly, dailed Noame's number, barely containing her excitement.

 "Mom, guess what? We just got back from the hospital, and we found out we are having a girl!" 

 Naome squealed with delight. " Oh, Rita, that's wonderful news! I am so happy for you both."

Rita grinned, feeling happy and content." Thanks, mom. We are grateful." 

 As they chatted, Rita couldn't help but feel grateful for this journey she was on. She knew that being a mom wouldn't be easy, but with Carlson by her side, she felt ready to face whatever came their way. Despite Alex's refusal to accept her with his pregnancy, at least Carlson was ready to take over the responsibility of her daughter as a father, which made Rita happier in her new life of journey.

 And as they hung up the phone, Rita turned to Carlson with a smile. You know what? I think we should start thinking about the names of our little girl."

 Carlson's eyes lit up. That's a great idea! I have already started thinking about it." Rita laughed. "Oh yeah? What name do you like? Carlson grinned mischievously. " Well, I was thinking it might be Theresa or Krista.

 Rita's eyes widened in surprise. Those are beautiful names! Rita pulled out a piece of paper and started writing down all the names that came to mind. Carlson sat next to her, his eyes scanning the list.

 "I like Theresa," he said, pointing to the name. "It's classic and elegant." Rita nodded, her hair bobbing up and down." I like it too. But what about Krista? That's a pretty name too." 

 " Carlson smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Yeah, Krista is a great name. But I think we should consider something a little more unique." 

 Rita raised an eyebrow, her curiosity piqued. Like what?" 

 Carlson thought for a moment before responding. How about Astrid? It's a strong and regal name." 

 Rita's eyes widened in surprise." Astrid. That's a beautiful name!"

 As they continued to brainstorm names, Rita couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. She was going to be a mom! And Carlson was going to be an amazing dad.

 After a while, they decided to take a break and grab some lunch. As they sat down at the dining table, Rita turned to Carlson with a smile. You know what? I think we should start thinking about the nursery too."

 Carlson's eyes lit up." That's a great idea! I was thinking we could paint it a soft yellow or pink."

 Rita's eyes sparkled with excitement. That sounds perfect! And we can get some cute furniture too." 

 As they finished lunch, Rita's phone rung. She answered, and her face lit up with a smile.

 Hey, auntie Rachael! what's up?"

 Rachael's voice was bubbly at the other end of the line. " Hey, sweetie! I just wanted to check in and see how you are doing. How's the baby?"

 Rita's hand instinctively went to her belly. " We are doing great, Rachael! We just got back from the hospital and found out we are having a baby girl!" 

 Rachael squealed with delight. " Oh Rita! That's amazing news! I am so happy for you both."

 Rita grinned, feeling happy and content. Thanks Rachael. We are glad.

 As they chatted, Carlson got up and started clearing the table. Rita watched him, feeling grateful for his support and love.

 "Hey , Rachael? I gotta go. Carlson's being super helpful and I do not want to keep him from his duties." 

 Rachael laughed. " Okey, sweetie. Give Carlson a hug from me and take care of yourself and the baby girl!"

 Rita hung up and turned to Carlson with a smile.
