Chapter 16: Chapter 16
<
I told the two of them that I had recovered my previous life's memories. I had originally planned to reveal this to them later, but I didn't expect the timing to be this soon. Still, I figured it was fine—the sooner they knew, the better. After all, it would be strange if someone they knew suddenly started acting differently, like pushing themselves through intense workouts they had never done before. It was only natural for them to have questions.
(Is it wise to reveal your secret to them, Masachika?)
Musashi's voice echoed inside the Stigmata Space, her concern clear. I replied with a small sigh.
(Yeah, it's fine. Considering Yuki's intellect, she'd definitely figure me out eventually. She's probably already suspicious of me ever since I became the Herrscher of Finality.)
Musashi's voice came back, softer but in agreement.
(True.)
I couldn't shake the feeling that I'd set things in motion that couldn't be undone, but at this point, it was better to let them in on the truth. Even if it meant facing the consequences later.
As I watched their reactions, Yuki was the first to speak.
"Eh? You... recovered your previous life's memories?" she asked, blinking in surprise.
"Yep, I guess," I replied with a casual shrug.
"And you're acting differently than before because of that?"
"Yeah," I admitted honestly.
I knew I wasn't the same person I had been before. The memories of my past life had changed me, reshaping my mindset and actions. I wasn't trying to hide it—there was no point. The only question now was how they would take it.
"So, is there anything else you want to know?" I asked, glancing at them.
"There is," Yuki said, her expression serious. "You said that you recovered your previous life's memories, right? Then… can you tell me who you were?"
I nodded. "I guess I can tell you about my previous life." I gestured toward them before adding, "Now, take a seat—it's a long story, after all."
With a flick of my hand, I created chairs for them to sit on. They exchanged glances before settling down, waiting for me to begin.
Taking a deep breath, I started telling them about my past—my life as Vyn. I told them how I had been an orphan, struggling to survive in a world that offered me nothing. How I had worked tirelessly to learn everything I could from a young age, pushing myself beyond my limits just to carve out a place for myself.
I also admitted that, despite everything, I had been an otaku in my past life—someone deeply invested in anime, manga, and games. Because of my relentless pursuit of knowledge, every single one of my friends had called me a Jack of All Trades. I wasn't necessarily the best at anything, but I could do a bit of everything.
But I'll leave out the part about me staying in that Darkness because it would be too confusing to process without a full explanation, and without proper context.
And, of course, I mentioned one more detail that made them react—
"I also had two girlfriends in my previous life," I added casually.
When they heard this, they were visibly surprised. Yuki's eyes widened before she quickly asked,
"Brother, were you a playboy in your previous life?"
I sighed at the question, shaking my head. "No, I wasn't. I didn't have the luxury for that, you see."
Sure, I had been considered handsome in my previous life, but I never used that to attract girls. "I worked hard just to survive and learn everything I could. I didn't have time to chase after relationships," I explained. "Besides, they were the ones who approached me first, not the other way around."
Yuki narrowed her eyes even further. "Really?"
I nodded. "Really."
She still looked skeptical but didn't press the issue any further. Instead, she leaned forward, curiosity evident in her voice.
"So, what happened after that? Did you die because they found out you were two-timing them and then kill you or what?"
I let out a small chuckle. "No, actually, I didn't die because of them. If anything, they were perfectly fine with each other."
"Huh? Seriously? They were fine with it?" Yuki asked, her disbelief obvious.
"Yeah," I said with a shrug. "Honestly, I had the same reaction as you when I first asked them about it. I even asked if they were jealous, considering I was technically two-timing them."
"And?"
"They weren't," I admitted. "It was as if the concept of jealousy didn't exist for them at all. No anger, no resentment—nothing. They just accepted it like it was completely normal."
Yuki stared at me in silence for a moment before sighing. "That sounds so unreal…"
I couldn't blame her for thinking that. Even I had found it strange back then.
"What's even more unreal," I continued, "is that they actually encouraged me to go after more girls if I wanted."
Yuki's jaw nearly dropped. "Eh?! Seriously?"
I sighed, shaking my head. "Yeah. Which, of course, I vehemently refused."
She tilted her head in confusion. "Why? Isn't it a guy's dream to have a big harem?"
I let out a dry chuckle. "That's for normal hot teenage boys who dream about having a harem. Not for someone like me."
Yuki looked at me with a mix of amusement and disbelief. "So, what? You're saying you weren't interested?"
I shrugged. "It's not that I wasn't interested, but I had more important things to worry about. Managing two relationships was already enough of a hassle. I wasn't about to make my life even more complicated."
She crossed her arms, still looking unconvinced. "Sounds like you wasted a golden opportunity."
I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, yeah, sure."
Even now, I still didn't regret my choice.
"So, how did you die in the first place?" Yuki asked, looking curious.
I let out a small chuckle. "Well, you should know how anime characters usually get reincarnated, right?"
She blinked before realization hit her, while Ayano, who wasn't familiar with Truck-kun, tilted her head in confusion.
"Ahhh… Truck-kun, right?" Yuki said.
"Yep," I confirmed with a sigh. "And it happened right when I was about to propose to them."
Yuki's expression shifted to one of pity. "Seriously? You were about to confess to your loved ones, and then—boom, you got Isekaied?"
"Pretty much." I let out a small, defeated laugh. "One moment, I was standing there with the ring, ready to propose… and the next, I was face-to-face with Truck-kun. Not exactly the romantic ending I had in mind."
Ayano, still confused, looked between us. "Um… what's Truck-kun?"
Yuki and I exchanged glances, realizing that Ayano wasn't familiar with the term. Unlike Yuki, who was well-versed in anime, Ayano didn't seem to have much knowledge about these kinds of things.
"Well," I began, "Truck-kun is basically a literal truck that seems to have been tasked by a ROB—or some kind of higher being—to send people to another world."
Yuki nodded in agreement. "Yeah, it happens all the time in anime and light novels that have a genre of Isekai. Someone gets hit by a truck, and boom—they wake up in another world with overpowered abilities."
Ayano blinked, her expression still doubtful. "So… you're saying that instead of just being a tragic accident, this Truck-kun thing is actually on a mission?"
"Exactly," I said with a smirk. "It's practically an unwritten rule of reincarnation stories."
Ayano sighed, still trying to struggle to comprehend what she just heard, like the Truck-kun and stuff. "That's ridiculous."
I shrugged. "Yeah, well… ridiculous or not, it happened to me, and I didn't even want to be sent to another world to begin with."
Yuki raised an eyebrow, clearly curious. "Wait, really? You didn't want to be reincarnated?"
I sighed, leaning back. "No, I didn't. I had a life, a future, and I was about to take a big step. The last thing I wanted was to be whisked away to some random world."
"Wait, Brother," Yuki said, a curious glint in her eyes. "If you got reincarnated here, then this world must be special in some way, right? And if we're talking about fanfiction logic… doesn't that mean this world is one of the fictional stories you read in your previous life?"
Hearing her words, I couldn't help but nod. "Yeah… you're right. That's exactly the case."
Yuki's eyes widened slightly. "Wait, seriously? So this world really is—"
"One of the many anime worlds I've seen," I confirmed with a sigh. "But let me remind you, this world isn't just one single anime. It's been integrated with different kinds of anime, mixed together in a way that would be too bothersome to explain."
Yuki took a moment to process that before letting out a low whistle. "That's… insane."
Ayano frowned. "So, does that mean a lot of the people we know could secretly be from those anime?"
"Pretty much," I said. "And that also means things won't necessarily follow the original storylines anymore."
Yuki crossed her arms, deep in thought. "That explains a lot… but at the same time, it just raises more questions."
I smirked. "Welcome to my life."
Yuki leaned forward, eager for more details. "So, what kind of anime did you fall into? If you're here in modern time, then that must mean there's a supernatural side hiding from society's eyes, right?"
Hearing that, I couldn't help but nod again. "Yeah, you're right. So, I'll start explaining."
I then began explaining the supernatural side of the world, where magic, mythical races, and beings from other realms exist. He spoke of Angels, Fallen Angels, Demons, Devils, Heroes, Youkai, and even Gods—beings who once roamed freely or still walk hidden among them. As he shared this knowledge, Yuki and Ayano's eyes sparkled with awe, struggling to grasp the idea that such things could truly exist. They had heard of Poseidon from Belfast, but even then, the Poseidon they spoke of was from another dimension, a being far removed from their own reality.
Yuki's sharp eyes suddenly flickered with realization as she put the pieces together.
"Wait, Brother... The reason why you're giving us a Herrscher Core is because..."
I nodded, confirming her thoughts. "Yes, what you're thinking is right. It's so that you could protect yourself."
Yuki's expression softened with understanding. "I see now. In a world where those kinds of things exist, I guess that's a pretty good move."
"Right?" I said, giving her a slight grin. "It's better if you have the means to protect yourselves rather than relying on me all the time. I might not always be around, but it would put me at ease knowing you're strong enough to handle things on your own."
Yuki nodded thoughtfully, her gaze distant as she processed everything. Meanwhile, Ayano, still trying to catch up, gave me a curious look.
"What is it, Ayano?" I asked.
"Well… it's just that, so far, nothing seems out of the ordinary… yet," she said, her brows furrowing slightly.
I leaned forward slightly, lowering my voice. "I see, well, Do you know Yuki Nonaka, Kurumi Nonaka, and Chisato Hasegawa?"
Yuki and Ayano immediately recognized the names.
"Yeah, I know them. Nonaka-san is in the same class as me, and her sister Kurumi is a middle schooler at our school. Hasegawa-sensei is our school nurse... Wait, don't tell me."
Yuki's sharp mind had already connected the dots. Her eyes widened as the truth hit her.
"Yes," I said, nodding. "What you're thinking is right. The three of them are connected to the supernatural world. Yuki Nonaka and her sister Kurumi are from the Hero Clan, and Chisato Hasegawa... she's a Goddess from the God Clan."
The realization hit them hard. Yuki's jaw dropped, and Ayano's eyes widened in disbelief.
"Are you saying... we've been surrounded by people from these clans and didn't even know it?" Ayano asked, her voice a mix of awe and confusion.
I gave them both a calm look, trying to ease their concerns. "Yup, but don't worry about Yuki Nonaka and Kurumi Nonaka. I already made sure they sent a message to their village."
Yuki raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued but also a little unnerved. "Huh? What kind of message?"
I let out a small sigh. "It was simple: either cross me and get obliterated, or stay out of my way, and we're cool."
There was a brief silence as Ayano processed my words, her eyes widening with surprise and a little apprehension.
"Wait… you just sent that kind of message?" Yuki asked, sounding a bit uneasy. "To an entire village?"
I shrugged. "Yep. It's not like they didn't have it coming. They're part of the Hero Clan, after all, and if they want to make things difficult for me or my friends, they'll have to deal with the consequences."
Yuki's expression was thoughtful, but she didn't look entirely shocked. "I see... So you're not letting them cause trouble, huh?"
"yep," I said.
Yuki seemed to be thinking it over for a moment, still a bit uneasy but nodding slowly. "I see, I guess that makes sense. But… obliterated?"
I gave her a firm look, my tone steady. "Yeah. There's no room for half-measures when it comes to this kind of stuff."
Yuki, surprisingly, didn't seem fazed by my answer. "I get it. You're just making sure they know their place. And if they don't listen, well, that's their problem."
I nodded again, feeling a little more at ease with Yuki's understanding. "Exactly."
Yuki, still processing everything, then asked, "I see... Then what about Hasegawa-sensei? Have you done something to her?"
I paused for a moment before responding. "Oh, her? Well, I haven't done anything to her yet. She might have seen my fight with the Hero Clan, though."
I could sense two people watching me during the fight, though I didn't know who they were. However, I could tell that one of them was Hasegawa. Unlike the Hero Clan, who had sent Yuki and Kurumi to befriend me, Hasegawa would definitely monitor me from a distance, observing my every move without drawing attention.
"Fight? I didn't hear anything about this," Yuki said, raising an eyebrow in surprise.
I proceeded to tell them about the fight between me and the four members of the Hero Clan. Of course, I made sure to mention that I defeated them using the Authority of Stars, which allowed me to manipulate gravity. The intense pressure around them caused everything, except for me, to collapse, leaving the area as flat as a pancake.
Yuki blinked at me, her eyes wide with disbelief. "Wait… you really did all that just by using gravity?"
I nodded. "Yeah, it was pretty one-sided."
Ayano seemed to be processing everything, her expression shifting from confusion to a mix of awe and disbelief. "So, Masachika-sama didn't just defeat them... you obliterated them?"
"Basically," I said, my tone calm. "It was more about showing them that I wasn't someone they should mess with."
Yuki looked at me, her expression unreadable for a moment before she spoke. "I guess that would explain why Hasegawa-sensei might be wary. She might have seen the aftermath of all that and is probably keeping an eye on you."
"Most likely," I agreed, acknowledging the truth in her words. "But as long as she doesn't try anything, I don't see a reason to make her my enemy."
Yuki still a little taken aback, shook her head. "Man, I can't believe you took down four people just like that... You're on a whole other level."
I crossed my arms and gave them both a serious look. "Oi, don't forget—you two are also Herrschers now. You're both ridiculously powerful in your own right."
Yuki tilted her head, raising an eyebrow. "What's your point?"
"My point," I said, pointing directly at Yuki, "is that you, Yuki, could have easily taken them down too. You could've conjured an entire arsenal around them and rained hell until there was nothing left to hide behind. Hell, if you wanted to, you could turn an entire city into a radioactive wasteland without even breaking a sweat."
Yuki blinked at my words before smirking. "Well, when you put it that way…"
I then turned to Ayano. "And you, Ayano. You could literally open a portal and drop a meteor on them if you felt like it. Or better yet, trap them in a subspace where you hold absolute control."
Ayano stiffened, startled by the reminder of her own power. It was as if she had momentarily forgotten—forgotten that she was a Herrscher, a being capable of reshaping reality itself.
Yuki, on the other hand, chuckled. "You know… that's actually pretty cool."
I sighed. "The point is, I'm not the only one who's powerful here. You two are Herrschers. You have insane abilities. If you wanted to, you could wipe out civilizations. That's what being a Herrscher means—power beyond what most can even comprehend."
Yuki crossed her arms, deep in thought. "Yeah… I guess you're right. It's easy to forget when you're not using your powers all the time."
"un, your right, Yuki-sama." Ayano nod at what Yuki said.
"Well, don't think too hard about it," I said with a shrug. "Just remember—you're not weak. If anyone tries anything, you can crush them just as easily as I can."
The two who heard that nodded weakly, still processing my words. With that settled, I decided to check if they had any more questions.
"Now that that's out of the way, anything else you want to ask?"
"Hmmm…"
Yuki fell into thought, her brows furrowing as she considered her next question. After a moment, she finally spoke.
"There is something… What exactly happened for you to evolve like this? Right now, just a moment ago you were literally encased in a giant cocoon."
"Ah, that's… hmm…"
I hesitated, debating how much I should actually tell her. But you know what? Screw it.
"I drank a True Dragon Essence."
"…"
Silence.
Yuki's eyes widened, struggling to process what I had just said. Beside her, Ayano also froze at the mention of "Dragon," though she clearly didn't grasp the full significance of what a True Dragon really was.
"Brother… Did you just say you drank a True Dragon Essence?" Yuki's voice trembled slightly, disbelief written all over her face.
"Yup. That's right." I nodded as if it were the most casual thing in the world.
Her expression contorted between shock and frustration before she finally blurted out, "You… How the hell did you even get your hands on something like that!?"
I smirked, enjoying her reaction a little too much. "You can think of it as me getting it from a Daily Quest."
"…Eh?" Yuki blinked. "Daily Quest? You mean… like those System things in fanfics?"
"Pretty much."
She stared at me, deadpan. "You're messing with me, right?"
I simply shrugged. "Believe what you want."
Yuki groaned, rubbing her temples as if trying to ward off a headache.
"Is that all?" I asked before turning to Ayano. "And Ayano, if you want to know more about True Dragons, just look it up on the web. You'll definitely find plenty of information. Explaining it myself would take way too long."
Ayano nodded. "Alright, I'll check it out later."
Yuki let out a long sigh, shaking her head. "You were already broken and overpowered before, Brother. Now you're just becoming outright cheaty."
I smirked. "Yeah, I'd say the same thing, but let's be real—no matter how cheaty I get, I know for a fact there's someone out there who could body me without breaking a sweat."
I said as I cast a quick glance at Belfast. Deep inside, I knew the truth—no matter how much I had grown, even after becoming the Herrscher of Finality and a True Dragon, she was still stronger than me.
Yuki narrowed her eyes. "You say that… but at this point, I'm starting to wonder if that's even true."
I chuckled. "Oh, it definitely is. If anything, that's what keeps things interesting."
Yuki sighed again, clearly still trying to process everything, while Ayano quietly pulled out her phone, already searching for what a True Dragon really was.
"So, is that all?"
"Yeah, I guess," Yuki said, shrugging. It seemed she had no more questions.
Ayano nodded as well, signaling that she was satisfied with what she had learned.
"Alright then. There's something I want to test out first," I said as I stood up from my seat.
Yuki looked at me curiously. "What are you gonna test?"
"It's about my Heart Tool."
With that, I took a deep breath and began reciting the chant.
"By my heart's will, strike true and pierce fate. Empower those bound to me, and return what is lost. Through all barriers, I command your might—Γουνγνίρ!"
The moment the words left my lips, Γουνγνίρ materialized in my hand. Noticing this, I realized that the cooldown for my Heart Tool had finished. I made a mental note—regardless of when the Heart Tool was used, as long as a new day began, it would automatically refresh. Gripping the spear firmly, I turned toward the two, my mind already shifting back to the situation at hand.
"You two, try touching this spear."
Yuki and Ayano exchanged glances before nodding. They reached out, their fingers brushing against the weapon's surface.
Almost instantly, their eyes widened.
"Wha—why do I feel… another heartbeat inside me?" Yuki muttered, placing a hand over her chest.
"M-Me too…" Ayano added, her expression mirroring Yuki's shock.
I frowned, bringing a hand to my chin as I started analyzing the situation.
Heart Tools are something only humans should be able to wield and have.
But Yuki and Ayano... they are Herrschers now. Technically, they shouldn't qualify for the effects of a Heart Tool.
Unless—could it be that they aren't true Herrschers to begin with? From what I know, if a Herrscher Core is extracted from its host, they revert to being human. That would mean, in the eyes of the Heart Tool, they are considered human once again rather than full-fledged Herrschers.
It makes sense when I think about it—Herrschers are, after all, merely shadows of the Herrscher of Finality. Their connection to the true source of their power is incomplete, leaving them in a state that is neither entirely human nor fully Herrscher.
[AN : Correct me if I'm wrong about this.]
But if that's the case… then what about me? Does my Heart Tool recognize me as human as well? Despite being a Herrscher of Finality does it see me as something less—or perhaps more—than what I truly am?
I was so lost in thought, contemplating the complexities of my existence, that I almost missed Yuki's voice pulling me back to reality.
"Brother, what did you just do?"
Yuki's voice snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Hm? Oh, right." I blinked, realizing I'd spaced out for a moment. "I just gave you a Heart Tool."
"A Heart Tool?" Yuki repeated, her brow furrowing. "Does that mean… the beating pulse we felt is…"
"Yep. That's your Heart Tool." I nodded. "Right now, it hasn't fully awakened yet. When it does, you'll both understand what your Heart Tools are and what abilities they grant. As for how it awakens… that depends on the wielder of the Heart Tool."
"I see…"
Yuki fell silent, her mind clearly processing the new information. Ayano, too, looked thoughtful, her hand still lightly resting on her chest as if waiting for something to change.
"I wanted to give you something else, but I guess it would be too much. So, I'll hold back for now."
"Eh? You wanted to give us more?"
Yuki stared at me in disbelief, and even Ayano looked equally shocked.
"Yeah, but I think I should stop for now." I sighed.
Yuki crossed her arms, giving me a suspicious look. "Yeah, you should stop spoiling us like this. It's starting to feel like you're handing out gifts left and right."
"True…" I admitted with a shrug. I couldn't deny it—if they became too reliant on what I gave them, it would only hinder their growth. They hadn't even fully mastered their Herrscher powers yet, so handing them more would be pointless for now.
It was best to wait until they had complete control over their abilities. Only then would they be ready to handle more power.
With that thought in mind, I decided to hold back.
"Well, let's put that aside for now," I said, changing the subject. "Instead, take a look at the base I've built."
The three of us turned to face the structure I had created. From the outside, it was just a simple entrance—nothing grand or flashy.
"Brother… is your base underground?" Yuki asked, tilting her head slightly.
"Yeah. I didn't want it to be detected by NASA," I replied casually.
At first, I had intended to leave it on the surface, but when I was about to drink the True Dragon Essence, I decided to move it underground, so it has to be dismanteled and rebuilt it again in the underground. To make detection even harder, I made the Nanobot to painted the outer surface white—blending in with the moon's surface perfectly. Anyone trying to monitor this area would have a hard time spotting anything unusual.
"I see…" Yuki murmured, looking thoughtful. "I'd love to tour the base, but right now, I really just want to go back to Earth."
I nodded. "Alright, you two can go back first. I still want to stay here for a bit longer."
Yuki turned to Ayano. "Then, let's head back. You can teleport us, right Ayano?"
"Yes, Yuki-sama," Ayano replied with a respectful nod.
Yuki glanced back at me one last time. "Alright then, we'll see you back at the house later."
"We will excuse ourselves, Masachika-sama," Ayano added politely.
"Alright, take care, you two," I said, watching as they prepared to leave.
With that, Ayano activated her teleportation, and in an instant, the two of them vanished from the moon's surface.
Silence settled between me and Belfast as I stood there, gazing at the empty space they had just occupied. It wasn't awkward—just a quiet moment of reflection.
Then, Belfast finally spoke.
"How are you feeling, Masachika-sama?"
I turned to her and let out a small sigh. "A lot better, I guess."
After coming clean about everything, I felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. There was no more need to keep unnecessary secrets—at least, not from them.
Hearing my response, Belfast smiled warmly. "I see. Then I'm glad you're feeling better."
"Thanks," I said, appreciating her concern.
Now that everything was settled, it was time to check on something important.
"Alright, let's take a look at my status," I muttered. "Status."
At my command, my status screen materialized before me, displaying everything I needed to see.
[Status]
[Name : Masachika Kuze]
[Danger Level : Genesis]
[Gender : Male]
[Race : Ultimate Herrscher]
[Age : 16]
[Title : Herrscher of Finality, God Slayer, Doom Slayer, True Dragon of Finality]
[Heart Tool : Γουνγνίρ]
[Ability : Honkai Energy Manipulation, Herrscher Core Bestowal, Honkai Beast Creation, Reactive Evolution, Infinite Regeneration, Universal Senses, Universal Shapeshift, Dragon Haki]
[Resistance : Spiritual Attack Nullification, Poison Nullification, Abnormal Ailment Nullification, Thermal Fluctiation Nullification, C̵͔͕̗̠̪͒̑͝h̷͉̤̘͔̟̐̉̔̈́ą̸͎̝̬̋̆͌͑ͅo̸͔͔̩̿̾̋̚͜ͅs̷̘͍͍̻̞͗͆̌̓ ̵̛̞͇͇͇͕̐̀͘R̴̢̛̤̪͉̯̀͘̕e̷̼̼̪̼̋͂̈́̌ͅs̸̨͎͎̤͇͗̇̓͝i̴̢͉͎͓̐̈́̽̔s̸̝̦̪͙̑̓̄͠t̷̡̘͍̓̎̿̋ͅä̸̢̢͍̖̯́̽̈́͝ń̸̢͉̬͔̩̿̈́͝c̷̫͓̤̩͕͒̌̐̇ę̵͇͍̗͂̈́́͜͝,]
As I scanned my new status, I immediately noticed that two of my abilities had evolved—Ultraspeed Regeneration had transformed into Infinite Regeneration, and Extrasensory Perception had advanced to Universal Senses.
But that wasn't all. Two completely new abilities had appeared—Universal Shapeshift and Dragon Haki. The moment I saw them, I had a strong suspicion. The True Dragon Essence I consumed… it must have come from Tensura. But which True Dragon was its source?
There are four True Dragons there—well, three—but the question is, which True Dragon was the source of it? But let's think about that later, I could tell that because both Universal Shapeshift and Dragon Haki were Intrinsic Skills of a True Dragon. Universal Senses was also an Intrinsic Skill, but it seemed to have evolved into something even more powerful.
then, there was my race. It had changed. I was no longer just a Herrscher. My status now identified me as an Ultimate Herrscher.
Is this similar to Rimuru's case? He had evolved into an Ultimate Slime, a fusion of his original race and True Dragon traits. If that was the case… then my transformation followed the same principle.
And then, there was my new title—True Dragon of Finality. It didn't take me long to figure out why. It must be because I'm the Herrscher of Finality.
The title itself carried immense weight. Just as other True Dragons embodied concepts like Frost, Storm, and Scorch, mine seemed to be tied directly to Finality—the very essence of my existence as a Herrscher.
(It seems that you have become even stronger after seeing your Status, Masachika.)
Musashi's voice echoed with in my mind, carrying a mix of amusement and acknowledgment.
(Yeah, I can see that.)
I responded dryly. It had only been six days since I recovered my memories. Six days since I became the Herrscher of Finality. And yet, in that short time, I had reached a point where my growth felt almost unreal.
I then dismiss the Status infront of me and look to the base entrance.
"enough dilly dallying and lets tour the new base now."
I said and Belfast followed me suits to the base that I now have created.

<
When Yuki and Ayano returned to Masachika's house, Yuki plopped down onto the couch, exhaling a long sigh as she tried to process the massive amount of information she had just received.
"Sigh I see… So Brother is a reincarnator, huh," she muttered, rubbing her temples. Then, she glanced at Ayano. "Do you believe what he said?"
Ayano hesitated, her expression conflicted. "I don't know, Yuki-sama. It's just… hard to believe. The idea that we're in a world from one of his anime, and that the supernatural exists… But—"
"But what?" Yuki prompted, watching as Ayano trailed off before finally continuing.
"But the way he acts… it's different. He's not just making up some wild story. What he said is probably the truth."
Yuki let out another deep sigh. "I see… Sigh."
Now that she knew the supernatural was real, she had expected to constantly be on guard. But in the end, it seemed Masachika had already taken care of everything.
"But speaking of acting weird… Ayano, did something happen to Mother?"
Yuki turned to Ayano, her brows furrowed. She had noticed it—her mother had been acting strangely again, just like she used to. Even during their recent dinner with her and Grandfather, something felt off. But unlike before, when she would always lower her gaze, timid and insecure, this time… she didn't, she enjoy the dinner.
Ayano shook her head apologetically. "Sorry, Yuki-sama, but I don't know."
"I see… so you don't know either…" Yuki murmured, her expression growing more thoughtful.
"Did something happen to her for her to suddenly change?" she asked, her voice tinged with curiosity and concern.
"It's possible, Yuki-sama," Ayano replied, though uncertainty lingered in her tone. "Her demeanor has definitely shifted, but I can't say what caused it."
Yuki frowned, deep in thought. Her mother had always been fragile, both emotionally and mentally. For years, she had carried an air of hesitation, always looking down, always seeming uncertain. But now… there was something different about her. Not just confidence, but something else.
"I see… hmm…" Yuki muttered, standing up straight and placing a hand on her chin, her mind running through possibilities.
Ayano hesitated before nodding slowly. "Now that you mention it… Yumi-sama has been acting much more composed lately. She no longer seems hesitant or unsure of herself like before."
Yuki tapped her fingers against her arm in thought. "Exactly. She used to avoid eye contact, always seemed fragile… but now, she holds herself with confidence. It's like she's no longer bound by whatever fears used to weigh her down."
Ayano bit her lip. "But if she really regained her past life memories, wouldn't she have said something by now?"
"Not necessarily," Yuki countered. "Brother didn't tell us right away either. Maybe she's still trying to process everything, or that she was hiding this for us so that we wouldn't worry about her…" She trailed off, her eyes narrowing slightly.
"I see… Should I look into this matter more thoroughly, Yuki-sama?" Ayano asked, her tone serious.
Just as Yuki was about to respond, a sudden knock at the door interrupted their conversation. Both of them exchanged glances, their curiosity piqued.
"…Did Brother invite someone over?" Yuki muttered, frowning slightly.
Ayano shook her head. "Should I go to the moon and ask him if he invited someone over these past few days?"
Yuki let out a small sigh. "Yes, go ask him. I'll check who's at the door."
"As you wish, Yuki-sama."
Without another word, Ayano vanished, teleporting straight to the moon to speak with Masachika. Meanwhile, the knocking continued, steady and unhurried. Whoever was at the door clearly had no intention of leaving.
Yuki exhaled and stretched slightly before making her way to the entrance. "Coming," she called out, her voice firm but not hurried.
As she reached for the doorknob, a voice from the other side made her freeze.
"Ah, Yuki, is Masachika home?"
Yuki's eyes widened in surprise. That voice—it was unmistakable.
"Mother?" she murmured in disbelief.
Quickly, she opened the door, and standing before her was a woman who bore a striking resemblance to herself. The only differences were her droopy eyes, a deep shade of violet rather than Yuki's vibrant blue, and a small mole resting under her right eye.
Yuki's breath hitched. She had been thinking about her mother just moments ago, wondering about her strange behavior, and now, here she was, standing in front of her as if summoned by her very thoughts.
"Mother… what are you doing here?" Yuki finally managed to ask, her voice laced with confusion and curiosity.
Yumi Suou gave her daughter a gentle smile, her expression unreadable yet strangely calm. "I wanted to talk to Masachika," she replied simply.
