Rise Of The Titans

Chapter 11: Act 1, Scene 11

Previously on Rise of the Titans: Radasa and Kaneki’s bond has been put to the test after their battle against Gora, only to find that Gora has survived their confrontation. The threat now grows even more sinister as Gora kidnaps Kaneki’s family and friends, setting a dark trap that manipulates Radasa’s grief and hope.

The silence that settled in after Gora’s departure felt suffocating. Kaneki and Radasa had barely begun to catch their breath when an ominous gust of wind tore through the night, carrying with it a weight of dread. Kaneki turned his head, feeling something was wrong, but it was too late to prepare. The ground beneath them began to shake violently, like an earthquake that had no intention of stopping.

Kaneki: [eyes narrowing, voice tight with alarm] "Radasa…"

Before he could finish his warning, Gora emerged from the shadows, a cruel smile twisting his lips. But this was not the same Gora they had encountered before. The titan’s once-confident demeanor was now accompanied by a dark aura that seemed to warp the very air around him. His clothes were torn, and his skin bore scars from their last battle, but there was something about him that felt… different.

Gora: [chuckling darkly, his eyes flickering with sadistic joy] "I see you’re surprised, Kaneki. Did you honestly think I would be defeated so easily? You and Radasa, both so naive. So eager to think that one battle would settle everything."

Kaneki’s heart raced as he stepped back, but he couldn’t let Gora near Radasa or his family.

Kaneki: [voice shaking with fury] "You’re still alive?! How? What are you doing here?!"

Gora ignored him, eyes gleaming as he made his way toward Kaneki’s family, who were bound and unconscious, lying on the ground just out of reach. The air crackled with a chilling malice.

Gora: "I wanted to make sure you understood the consequences of defying me. You see, Kaneki, I’m not just a simple titan. I have my own ways of… surviving. But that’s not why I’m here."

With a sudden movement, Gora lifted Kaneki’s mother, his sister, and best friend from the ground with terrifying ease, and they dangled lifelessly in the air by his will. The family members’ bodies twisted and jerked as though they were puppets, showing no sign of resistance.

Kaneki: [screaming in horror] "Stop! Let them go! Please!"

Gora smirked at his desperation, enjoying every second of it.

Gora: "Oh, Kaneki… don’t worry. They’re not going anywhere. Not yet, anyway. You see, I’ve come to make you an offer. A trade, if you will."

Kaneki clenched his fists, eyes full of anguish. He couldn’t fathom what Gora was planning, but the urgency in his voice was impossible to ignore.

Kaneki: [desperately] "What do you want from me, Gora? Whatever it is, I’ll do it! Just let them go!"

Gora paused, letting the tension hang heavy in the air before he spoke again, his voice low and filled with an air of malicious promise.

Gora: "It’s not you I want, Kaneki. It’s her." [he gestured towards Radasa, his eyes gleaming with wickedness] "I need Radasa to help me complete what I started. I can revive Shela. I know how much she meant to you, Radasa… and how much you would do to see her alive again. All I ask in return is for you to step out of Kaneki’s mind and body."

Radasa’s eyes widened at Gora’s words. The mention of Shela—of the possibility of bringing her back—sent a spike of longing through her heart. The grief that she had carried for so long began to cloud her thoughts, her judgment, as the temptation to be with Shela again overwhelmed her. For a moment, she could feel her resolve breaking, piece by piece.

Radasa: [voice shaky, filled with disbelief] "You… you can bring her back?"

Gora smiled darkly, sensing the doubt creeping into Radasa’s mind.

Gora: "Yes. I can. But to do so, I need you to sever your bond with Kaneki. You’re the key, Radasa. If you give in, if you let me take control of you, Shela can live again. You can have everything you’ve ever wanted."

Radasa’s eyes drifted to Kaneki, her heart torn between the man who had been with her through so much and the weight of her loss. She could feel Kaneki’s presence inside her, his voice screaming at her, urging her to hold on. But the thought of Shela, her dear friend who had sacrificed so much for her, being brought back to life seemed to blind her to everything else.

Radasa: [whispering, almost to herself] "Shela…"

Kaneki: [pleading, voice cracking] "Radasa, no! You can’t trust him! He’s lying! Gora will never bring her back. He’ll use you, and he’ll destroy everything we’ve fought for. Don’t fall for it, please!"

But Gora wasn’t finished. With a sudden, brutal motion, he placed a hand on Radasa’s forehead. She gasped as dark tendrils of energy erupted from his palm, infiltrating her mind. The sensation was overwhelming, like something was tearing at the very core of her being. She could feel Kaneki’s presence grow distant, pushed away by the power Gora was wielding.

Gora: [grinning maliciously] "Let’s see how much you’re willing to sacrifice for your precious Shela."

Radasa cried out, her body writhing as the darkness threatened to consume her. The bond she shared with Kaneki began to weaken, the connection fraying as Gora’s power extracted her from his mind. She could hear Kaneki’s voice calling her name, but it was distant, fading like an echo in a vast canyon.

Kaneki: [shouting] "Radasa! Don’t listen to him! You’re stronger than this!"

But Radasa’s thoughts were clouded, consumed by Gora’s promises. The temptation of seeing Shela again—the warmth of her friend’s smile, the laughter they had shared—pulled her in like a gravitational force. Her heart twisted as she felt herself slipping away, her memories of Kaneki and the bond they shared fading like smoke in the wind.

Radasa: [tears streaming down her face, voice broken] "I’m sorry, Kaneki… I have to do this."

The last remnants of Radasa’s resistance crumbled as she stepped away from Kaneki’s fading presence, her body now fully under Gora’s control. He let out a triumphant laugh, the victory shining in his eyes.

Gora: [mockingly] "It’s done, Kaneki. She’s mine now. And as for you, well… you’ll have to watch as everything you care about falls apart."

Kaneki’s heart sank into his chest as he saw the devastation in Radasa’s eyes. She had betrayed him. And worse yet, she had believed Gora’s lies.

As Gora pulled Radasa closer to him, her mind now trapped within his web of deceit, Kaneki was left powerless, his family and friends at Gora’s mercy.

Kaneki: [gritting his teeth, struggling to hold back his anger] "You won’t get away with this, Gora. I swear it."

But deep inside, Kaneki knew that the fight ahead was no longer just a physical battle. It was a war f

or Radasa’s soul. And if he didn’t act fast, it might already be too late.
