The entire floor split apart, and violent winds whipped up.

A dust storm arose, plunging everything into darkness!

Even Iris Darren's expression shifted, apparently stunned by this technique!

Nearby, Star gasped for air, perspiration streaming down his face.

Clearly, the Star Plucking Hand had drained him considerably too.

The brilliance faded, and the debris settled.

The three ivory bones had been driven into the earth!

Yet there were only pale marks across their surfaces!

This result crushed everyone's spirits completely!

Such a devastating technique as the Star Plucking Hand had only left scratches! How incredibly durable were these bones?

"We're finished. Even the Star Plucking Hand couldn't damage them..."

Some people wailed in anguish, despair written across their faces.

"Ha ha ha ha!" Iris Darren erupted in laughter.

Following Iris Darren's bellow, an ivory bone materialized before Star!

The pale fist crashed into Star's torso, launching his body through the air!

His form skidded across the ground for dozens of yards, blood spilling from his mouth continuously!

Iris Darren glared at Star with icy contempt and declared, "Foolish idiot, you actually believed you could obstruct my master plan!"

Star sprawled on the earth, looking pitiful.

"Iris Darren, enough!" Garcia Coleman charged forward, positioning himself before Star.

Iris Darren looked at Garcia and smirked, "I'll show you respect one final time. If there's a next occasion, don't expect mercy from me."

Garcia grunted, lifted Star, and walked away.

Even Star had fallen in defeat.

It wasn't an overstatement to say Star was nearly the most formidable fighter present, possibly even surpassing Paul Randall.

With his defeat, who could possibly halt Iris Darren!

"Buzz!"

Right then, brilliant illumination flashed nearby, and a martial artist's divine consciousness was yanked out directly!

Those seated beside him immediately panicked, shrieking and going white with terror!

This drove the already frightened crowd into deeper despair.

When disaster struck someone close by, the horror was far more intense than merely hearing about it.

The scene descended into chaos, and everyone feared they might be next to lose their divine consciousness!

"Oh, I neglected to mention, the consciousness extraction happens at random." Iris Darren remarked nonchalantly.

"One moment it could be a thousand miles distant, the next moment... it could be you!" Iris Darren grinned, showing his gleaming white teeth.

Agonized screams filled the area, some couldn't handle the mental strain and collapsed unconscious.

"Please... Iris Darren, have mercy! I'll pledge my loyalty to you!"

At that point, someone started surrendering to Iris Darren, attempting to preserve their life.

"I... I'll also submit! I'm ready to join the Immortal Slaying Sect and serve the Immortal Slaying Sect! Please let me live!"

Observing the kneeling, pleading martial artist, Iris Darren sneered, "Serve me? Do you deserve that honor?"

He scanned the crowd and stated coldly, "Your greatest value is supplying me with divine consciousness."

A bleak mood settled over the entire Martial Arts Hall.

Some people were so terrified they crumpled to the floor, while others soiled themselves in fear.

"Damn it!" Zora Solomon's expression burned with fury.

"We can't allow him to keep committing these atrocities!"

"Even Star was beaten, we stand no chance against him." I shook my head.

"Then what options do we have? Should we just sit here waiting to die?"

I gazed at the several light beams in the distance and said gravely, "To halt this technique, we might need to destroy those light beams."

Though I spoke these words, those beams were too distant. How could we possibly shatter them?

The light beams grew wider, and their glow intensified.

Iris Darren was thrilled beyond measure, he inhaled deeply and declared, "Soon, I'll regain my full strength... ha ha ha!"

His laughter, like a fiend's, rang throughout the Martial Arts Hall!

I shut my eyes and asked, "Saron, do you know a method to destroy those light beams? Or help me get away?"

"You're being unrealistic, those light beams aren't something you can destroy." At that moment, Saron's voice echoed in my thoughts.

I frowned and questioned, "Can't destroy them? What's the reason?"

Saron scoffed, "You likely don't understand the horrifying truth about this technique. Those eight light beams aren't physical objects. How could you possibly destroy them?"

I couldn't help but clench my teeth and demanded, "Then how can this technique be halted?"

"Didn't he tell you? This technique can't be stopped! When the Immortal Slaying Sect employed it in the past, nobody could halt it!" Saron said seriously.

I couldn't help but swear, "So we have no choice but to wait for death?"

"Exactly." Saron murmured.

I drew a deep breath and inquired, "If I let you use my body, could you defeat those bone warriors?"
