NOVEL NEXT Chapter 2: What happened?
"Ah shit..."
"Hurry up we don't have all day here!" the slim one said while getting closer.
"Move it! All of you! Outta my way!" a girl with blond hair yelled.
"Hey! Can i have come help here!" Subaru said to the girl.
"Sorry! Can't I'm busy! Live strong!" the girl said as she ran past them and jumped on to a wall and then a roof.
"Can we talk this out?" Subaru said a bit nervous.
"No" the slim one said as he garbed Subaru.
'Ok talking is out so i have to fight them.' Subaru thought.
"Lets go you lumps of EXP!" Subaru yelled as he punched the slim one in the face making the slim one fly back a few feet and fall to the ground. Now he ran to the smaller one and kicked him in the face make the small one fall to the ground unconscious . He then went to the biggest one and punched him in the gut making him knell over when he did that Subaru uppercut him and the backed away so that all three were in his line of sight
'Holy shit! I did it.' Subaru thought
Then Subaru herd what sounded like footsteps coming towards him fast then he heard.
"that's enough." A girl with long silver hair that went down to upper thigh said.
"Who are you?" Subaru asked.
"kindly return what you stole from me." The girl said.
"stole? i didn't steal anything." Subaru said.
"It doesn't seem like your lying. Then i have to hurry!" The girl said as she ran by Subaru.
"But regardless of that... i can't overlook what's going on here." The girl said as she fired a ice shard at Subaru.
'Magic? Not important dodge!' Subaru thought as he ducked the ice shard that was aimed for his head.
"Hey! Hey! Stop! I didn't do anything!" Subaru yelled.
"Then why are there three people in front of you unconscious?" The girl said as she prepared to fire more ice shard at Subaru.
"They tried to rob me so all i was doing was defending my self!" Subaru exclaimed.
"The boy is telling the truth Lia" another voice said to the girl. Subaru then looked at who said that and what he was not what he expected.
'Is that a talking flying cat?' Subaru thought.
"He is? Ah I'm sorry for what i did" The girl said.
"It's fine, but you said something from you was stolon. I think i know who it is." Subaru said.
"you can trust him i sense no ill attention" the floating cat said the girl then nodded at that comment.
"Ok will while i was being rob a small girl with blond hair and came running by fast i think she is the one that stole your item. speaking of which what did she steal?" Subaru asked.
"it's my insignia it has a jewel in the center and is about this big." The girl said and did a hand jester to show the size of the insignia.
"all right let's go look for your insignia. Ah wait we need to introduce our self right I'll go first. My name is Natsuki Subaru and I'm broke beyond compare! Nice to meet ya!" Subaru said as he struck a pose.
"And what's your name?" Subaru said to the girl.
"My name? I'm... Satella." the girl know as satella said while fidgeting a bit, making Puck shock and making Subaru confused.
'That's not her real name.' Subaru thought.
"Will ok let's go ask around." Subaru said. We now see the three in the city continuing the mission to find the insignia.
"Do you get the feeling that child is lost" satella asked as she points at a little girl with out her parents.
"She does look lost, I'm going to go over there." Subaru said as he started to walk over to the girl satella and puck then flowed after him.
"I'm sorry I'm not the one you were looking for. So, what's wrong are lost?" Subaru asked. the girl starts to cry and nods to his question.
"Hey don't cry. Here see this, what i have here is one grooved-edge ten-yen coin. i will now clutch it tightly in my hand. Tight, tight, tight... like that! And now when i open my it will be gone." Subaru said as he opened his hand.
"And this... is where the coin was hiding." Subaru said as he gets the coin from the little girl's hair making her amazed.
"You can have this. It's rare so take good care of it." Subaru said.
"Thank you!" the little girl said.
"I see. You got separated from your parents, huh? Hey It'll be fine just leave it to me and the young lady here. We'll find them for you in no time." Subaru said as he held the hand of the girl while satella dose the same on the other side of the girl. And both started to walk off.
"Ha, i fell like we are sibling taking care of our younger sibling." Subaru said while chuckling.
"He i guess your right about that." Satella said while laughing softly.
"Oh! Mommy! Mommy!" The girl exclaimed as she saw her mother and when to hug her.
"Looks like she found her." Subaru said.
"Yeah, I'm glade." Satella added.
We now see Subaru and Satella in another place of Lugunica where the two were resting.
"Hey... Subaru." Satella said.
"Ya what is it?" Subaru answered.
"Why... are you helping?" Satella questioned.
"Why am i helping... well there is no real reason i just wont to help." Subaru answered.
"But I'm a half-elf." Satella said while looking down.
"Your a half-elf? Cool I've never seen one before!" Subaru exclaimed with a smile on his face.
Satella looked up shocked "Your not scared of me? I'm a half- elf."
"Why would i be scared of you just for that?" Subaru questioned.
Suddenly Puck appears from Satellas hair and punches Subaru in the face.
"Hey what was that for?" Subaru asked.
"I just had to do something about this unbearable tingle i felt." Puck said while tingling.
"I can't accept to being hit for no reason like that. Though I'll forgive you because it was squishy." Subaru said.
"I didn't hit you out of anger or anything, the opposite in fact." Puck said
"Subaru, you're such a dunderhead!" Satella said
"Dunderhead? Who says that in this day and age? And why are you insulting me?
"Whatever! More importantly, we have to get back to the search." Satella said and started to walk away.
"Hey wait!" Subaru yield making Satella stop and turn around.
"I think i know some one who can helps found your insignia follow me." Subaru said and they both stared to walk away. We now see them at a appa stand.
"Hey mister i got a question." Subaru said.
"Ha, oh its just you what you want?" the appa seller said.
"We're looking for someone and we hope we can ask you some questions."
The two the started ask there questions. After they were done we can see them walking in to apart of town that looked run down.
"Hey i have a question." Subaru said.
"What is it?" Satella answered.
"What is puck?" Subaru asked.
"Oh Puck he is a spirit." Satella said.
"What is a spirit?" Subaru asked.
"A spirit is creature born from mana and are able to control the element they poses they start as lesser spirits and later become a spirit and sometimes become a great spirit." Satella answered while calling lesser spirits to her.
"So cool!" Subaru said astonished.
"Well let get going and find felt." Subaru said.
We now see Subaru and satella at a old looking house it was dark so it was hard to see anything detailed.
"Dose she really live in a place like this?" Subaru asked.
"The lesser spirits said that they saw some who looked like felt come here." Stallea said.
"Well I'm going to go in stay here." Subaru said.
"Okay, do your best." Satella said while Subaru did a thumbs up and walked in.
"This is all stolen loot? And why isn't there anyone here? A place that handles stolen goods can only afford to be so careless." Subaru said while seeing all the stolen items inside the house.
Subaru now walked further inside the house but he stopped walking when he felt something wet touch his shoe when he looked down that wet thing was blood he also sees a huge old man in the middle of the blood dead.
"oh, dear, you found that? Well, i have no choice then." A voice of a woman said as Subaru gets kicked away by the woman which sends him crashing in to the wall.
"Ow, that burns..." Subaru uttered. He felt somthing sticky on his stomach as he looked down he saw blood.
'Oh,crap... is all of this my blood? This is bad... Very bad...' Suabru thought while spewing blood frome his mouth and now was going unconscious.
"Subaru? What's wrong?" Satella asked as she now enters the house.
"No...Run! Hurry!" Subaru uttered. Satella stopped walking and turned behind but it was too late. She was stabbed by the unknown assailant and fell down to the ground with blood flowing from the wound. Subaru gritted and reaches his hand slowly to her hand.
"Wait there... I'm... going to... save you..." Subaru uttered and when was about to touch satellas hand everything went dark.
"What's the matter boy? You look like you saw a ghost." the appa seller said as he now was in front of the appa stand.
"What?" Subaru asked.
