Duan Gujin looked at the cloud formations before him when suddenly he thought of the battle puppet he had acquired previously.

In the description about the battle puppet, he saw it mentioned that it did not fear lightning.

Duan Gujin directed the battle puppet to charge forward while he and Miao Yu followed behind it.

Both the shields and the wood had been fortified by the power of arrays.

Thus, they were especially resilient and wouldn't be easily shattered by the thunderstorm.

The reason those Demon Clan members thought to withstand the thunderstorm in this manner was that they had previously confronted Human Warriors and learned to deal with the thunderstorm using this method.

The Demon Clan members changed their expressions upon witnessing a colossal three-meter giant emerge behind them, mistaking it for something the Space-Time Treasure Hall had sent to pursue them.

The five of them looked around and, finding no other Demon Clan experts, all slightly nodded in agreement before deciding to make a move against Duan Gujin and Miao Yu together, intending to seize Duan Gujin's battle puppet by force.

"Be careful!"

Seeing the five Demon Clan members charge towards them with ill-intent, and recalling how he had just put away the battle puppet right in front of those five, Duan Gujin was fully aware of their intentions.

With a thought, he once again released the battle puppet.

Upon its release, the battle puppet's size began to visibly increase at an extraordinary pace.
