"No… How is this possible?!"

Gravik stared at the radiant meteor streaking across the sky, sensing its familiar cosmic energy. Panic overtook him completely.

"She's back… Damn it!"

His face turned ashen as he wasted no time, transforming into a phantom and fleeing in the opposite direction.

Carol Danvers would never tolerate Skrulls meddling with Earth—he knew this all too well.

His actions must have crossed Carol's bottom line.

She's here to kill me!

Gravik's heart was gripped with fear, and unbidden memories from the past flooded his mind.

Back then, neither he nor G'iah had awakened their Super Skrull genes. The Skrulls were utterly defenseless against the Kree assault.

It was this woman who had appeared to save the Skrulls.

That moment was unforgettable—she singlehandedly drove off the Kree's space fleet!

Carol wasn't just the Kree's nightmare. She was the Skrulls' nightmare too.

The strong could annihilate weaker species at a whim.

As a refugee on Earth, Gravik's resentment and hatred had grown day by day until it finally exploded.

He once believed he had grown strong enough that he no longer needed to fear Carol.

Now a Super Skrull, he was one of the most powerful beings in the universe, far surpassing the Kree of that era.

But the moment Carol appeared, Gravik realized that his fear of her had never diminished.

She's stronger than ever.

Run!

Run as far as possible!

Never cross paths with this terrifying woman again!

The wind howled as Gravik fled madly.

But an obstacle blocked his escape.

High above, Apocalypse stood with his eyes rolled back, the entirety of the White House reduced to yellow sand. A vast storm of sand rose from the ground, burying Gravik in an instant.

At the same time, the sandstorm surged toward the meteor streaking through the sky.

"Earth's superheroes… your body seems stronger than Spider-Man's."

Apocalypse's gaze was greedy.

The next moment, dazzling cosmic energy erupted from within the sandstorm. Apocalypse's proud abilities disintegrated under the onslaught, tearing even his body apart.

"Boom!"

His armor shattered, and pieces of his corpse scattered across the ruins.

Meanwhile, the sandstorm dissipated, and Gravik fell, battered and bruised, into the wreckage.

Before he could attempt another escape, the radiant meteor descended before him.

"BOOM!"

The shockwave rippled outward. Under the oppressive force of cosmic energy, Gravik's body trembled uncontrollably. He couldn't even activate his powers before a hand gripped his throat.

"C-crack…"

"Ugh…"

Lifted into the air, Gravik struggled against the crushing grip, but the cosmic energy flooding his body was destroying his cells, rendering his powers useless.

He was suffocating—not just physically but mentally.

His terror was overwhelming. Helpless, he looked to the woman before him with pleading eyes.

"P-please spare me… I beg you…"

His voice was hoarse, as if he were on the brink of death.

Carol tilted her head, scrutinizing the Skrull in her grasp.

"I think I've seen you before. You were much younger back then," she said.

Hearing this, a glimmer of hope appeared in Gravik's eyes. He nodded desperately, trying to say something.

But before he could respond, Carol shook her head.

"I should've killed you back then."

Despair filled Gravik's face.

Just as Carol was about to crush his throat, the restored Apocalypse manipulated the sand to engulf Carol's legs.

At the same time, Carol experienced a brief mental lapse and found herself inside a starship.

"Where is this…?"

The silent interior of the ship surrounded her. Scanning her surroundings, she noticed a blue figure approaching.

"This is your inner world, Earth's superhero. Surrender your body to me," Apocalypse declared, his expression solemn.

The next second, he was sent flying by a single punch.

"BOOM!"

The ship trembled violently as exposed circuits sparked. Apocalypse lay embedded in a dented metal wall, clutching his face in stunned disbelief.

"You—"

Carol, radiating cosmic energy, floated before him, her expression disdainful.

"Say that again. I didn't quite hear you."

Apocalypse hesitated.

"Earth's superhero, surrender your body to me!" he bellowed, his form expanding wildly.

"BOOM!"

His colossal body filled the ship, and his bus-sized fist slammed down mercilessly.

"HUMMMM~"

Cosmic energy surged outward. Carol caught the massive fist with both hands, her initial surprise giving way to fury.

"GET OUT!"

"BOOM!!!"

With a deafening roar, a blinding beam of cosmic energy pierced through the ship, extending into the depths of space.

"No!"

Back in the ruins, Apocalypse gasped, snapping out of Carol's mental world. Cold sweat covered his brow.

He stared in terror at the woman before him, then noticed Spider-Man sneaking up with a vibranium dagger borrowed from Carter.

"What are you doing?" he demanded.

Xia Luo froze.

"…Nothing. Just trying to help," he said, putting the dagger away and raising his hands innocently.

Apocalypse's face darkened. Turning, he escaped through a spatial portal, reappearing a hundred meters away from Carol.

"Spider-Man, is our alliance still valid?" he asked.

Xia Luo nodded. "Of course it is."

Carol released Gravik, tossing him aside as she curiously studied Xia Luo.

"So, you're Spider-Man?" she asked coolly.

"Yes. It seems even newly-returned you have heard of Spider-Man's tales," Xia Luo replied, then glanced at Gravik, who was trembling on the ground.

"He's my target," Xia Luo stated.

Carol smirked. "I saved the Skrulls. Only I have the right to deal with their traitors."

Xia Luo scratched his head. "Fine. He's all yours."

He stepped back to show goodwill.

Apocalypse interjected anxiously, "Spider-Man! She's the Skrulls' ally. We must work together!"

Before he finished, Carol's eyes flared with cosmic energy, unleashing devastating beams.

"I wasn't talking to you. Shut up!"

"BOOM!"

Apocalypse barely raised an energy shield to withstand her gaze.

"Damn it, Spider-Man! Do something!"

Watching the scene unfold, Xia Luo frowned.

This universe's Captain Marvel seems absurdly powerful.

Is this power from the Infinity Stones?

He wasn't sure.

From the beginning, he hadn't detected any Infinity Stones in this universe.

If she didn't derive her power from them…

Then Carol must be even stronger than he thought!

As the thought crossed his mind, Apocalypse's energy shield shattered.

"HUMMMM~"

Before the cosmic energy could destroy him, Apocalypse teleported away.

"I'll be back!!"

Neither his psychic abilities nor his powers could rival Carol. He had no choice but to retreat.

Carol paid no mind to the fleeing Apocalypse, but Xia Luo couldn't ignore him.

Both Apocalypse and Gravik had outlived their usefulness. They needed to be eliminated.

With that in mind, Xia Luo opened a portal without hesitation.

"HUMMMM~"

The portal shimmered, but before Xia Luo could act, Carol flashed past him in a streak of light.

She clearly intended to continue their conversation.

However, in the next instant, Xia Luo closed the portal and turned back.

"Lady, brute strength isn't enough. You need brains too."

Carol found herself teleported to the other side of the Earth. Xia Luo grinned.

Turning to Gravik, he pressed a hand to his chest, extracting his soul and crushing it.

"Good. Problem solved."

Leave a margin of mercy, and they'll never come back for revenge.

A system notification appeared before Xia Luo, leaving him satisfied.

[You've eliminated the Skrull rebellion leader as your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Respawn points +11.]

Counting rewards from stopping Kraven's hunting ritual and defeating the Morlun family's Karn…

And taking down the symbiote beasts and the entire Spider-Man Alliance…

Adding them all up, it's almost—

Wait a second!

Xia Luo's eyes widened.

I'm not even dead! Why are my respawn points increasing?

A streak of light darted across the night sky, descending to the ruins. Carol hovered high above, her cosmic energy radiating like a miniature sun.

Her gaze was playful as she spoke. "Spider-Man, it seems you've underestimated my abilities."

Xia Luo's mouth twitched. "No way… actual light-speed flight?"

On second thought, if spatial teleportation existed, light-speed flight wasn't entirely implausible.

Let's just hope it's limited to flying at light speed, not punching at light speed.

"I'll give him back to you, but I hope you'll stop following me. After all, we're both superheroes. You should give me that much respect."

Xia Luo tossed Gravik toward her. But Carol simply waved her hand, disintegrating Gravik's body into countless particles with her cosmic energy.

Xia Luo: !!!!

"What are you doing?!" He grabbed his head in frustration.

Another contestant for the respawn tournament.

Damn it, Crazy Carol. If I weren't worried about losing, I'd give you a lesson right now!

Xia Luo raged internally.

Unaware of Xia Luo's thoughts, Carol crossed her arms, looking down on him like an insect from above.

"I've heard about what happened with Nick Fury. He's my friend. I should do something for him."

Xia Luo took a deep breath, suppressing the urge to lash out.

"And?"

"So, you will leave S.H.I.E.L.D. and issue a public apology to Nick Fury." Carol's expression was cold, and the cosmic energy swirling around her was brazenly oppressive.

It was both a negotiation and a threat.

Before Xia Luo could respond, Carter's voice came through his earpiece.

"Agree to it! I can't stay at S.H.I.E.L.D. for one more second. In less than half a year, I've already spotted wrinkles! I need to leave, now!" Her tone was one of relief.

But Xia Luo knew Carter wasn't actually planning to leave S.H.I.E.L.D.

After working so hard for this, there was no way she'd give up so easily.

Carol's pressure was just too suffocating. Carter never expected to win.

No one understood better than Carter how much Xia Luo had sacrificed to maintain his image as the "Invincible Spider-Man."

She'd only entered the respawn tournament twice, and both times she'd inexplicably won.

But she knew that without Xia Luo, her chances of winning would have been nearly zero.

And she was deeply worried about Xia Luo.

Carol's strength was undeniable.

Even Apocalypse, the so-called "god of mutants," had been forced to flee from her in disgrace.

The Invincible Spider-Man stood no chance against her.

Even if Xia Luo entered the respawn tournament, he couldn't win every time.

One mistake, and Carter couldn't bear to imagine the consequences.

She couldn't lose Spider-Man, just as the West couldn't lose Jerusalem.

Xia Luo understood her concern.

But he had already compromised once.

One step back was enough.

Any further, and the invincible Spider-Man's pride would be in shambles.

Absolutely no simping!

Resolutely, Xia Luo declared, "I! Won't!"

At his words, Carol's grin widened. She'd finally found a reasonable excuse to act.

Carter's expression, however, changed drastically.

"You're insane! This is pointless! We can't win!"

"Can't win? That phrase doesn't compute."

Xia Luo raised his hand, letting a small red-and-blue spider crawl onto his palm.

This battle isn't about saving the world.

I just can't stand her condescending attitude.

---

Meanwhile, Harry and the others, closely monitoring the battlefield through a reporter's lens, realized something was wrong.

"My friend, no matter what you do, I'll support you," Harry said with unwavering determination. He immediately changed direction, abandoning his current task to rush to New York.

---

In another city, electric arcs streaked across the night sky as Max pushed himself to his

 limits.

"Hang in there, idol. I'm coming!"

"So am I!"

On the ground, Aleksei piloted his rhino mech, charging down the streets.

---

At Stark Tower, a pale-faced Tony struggled to rise, his body weighed down.

"Are you sure you want to keep using the armor?" Pepper asked, supporting him with tears in her eyes.

Tony gave a bitter smile. "Better to die with meaning than from palladium poisoning. Giving my life for Spider-Man isn't a bad trade."

Pepper didn't try to dissuade him.

She knew this was Iron Man's last shred of dignity.

---

In an office building, Quentin Beck raised his right hand high, his eyes burning with passion as he addressed his team.

"Grab your gear, guys. Let's take down that arrogant woman!"

"Yeah, take her down!"

"No one but Spider-Man gets to act smug in front of us!"

The special effects crew erupted in enthusiasm.

---

In a shopping district, a muscular man in a striped shirt held his daughter's hand.

The two of them looked up at the plaza's big screen.

On it, the camera captured Carol's disdainful expression, revealing her hostility toward Spider-Man.

"Daddy, that lady looks really strong. Can you help Spider-Man?"

The little girl, recently recovered from a serious illness, gazed at her father with wide, hopeful eyes. Her innocence tugged at William's heart.

He knelt down, gently patting her head with a warm smile.

"Of course. Spider-Man saved your life, so I can give mine for him."

Standing abruptly, he roared as his body transformed into a storm of sand, rushing toward Washington.

---

At the same time, atop the Empire State Building, Gwen sat cross-legged beneath the antenna.

She stared at the black meteorite before her, lost in thought.

Snapping out of it at Abby's prompting, she stood up suddenly.

"I can feel that woman's unimaginable strength," the demonic voice murmured.

Hearing this, Gwen glanced at the distant screen, her resolve hardening.

"That's exactly why we have to help him!"

"But our strength is too weak right now."

"That doesn't matter. We'll grow stronger."

Slowly, Gwen bent down, picking up the black meteorite.

It was the symbiote meteorite Xia Luo had entrusted to her. Something about it seemed… off.

"Are you really going to accept this power?" Abby hesitated.

"I can't guarantee I can devour it. If I fail, you'll lose yourself too," it warned.

"I know."

Gwen took a deep breath and decisively tore away the webbing encasing the meteorite, allowing the black symbiote to crawl onto her body.

"We can't let him face this terrifying foe alone."

"He can die, but he must never be humiliated!"

As the symbiote merged with her, Gwen glimpsed fragments of its memories—visions of Xia Luo fighting desperately to save someone.

No, not just someone—there was Dr. Octavius, Professor Connors, Aunt May, Uncle Ben, and…

In the symbiote's recollection, the woman Xia Luo fought so hard to save was her.

Gwen's gaze darkened.
