NOVEL NEXT Chapter 15: The Third gym.

Before I begin this chapter I want to mention a few things
I've decided to have some original mega evolution designs included in my story some of them are from Pokemon infinite fusion for example Infernape will have a mega evolution that looks like he is in Gear 5 this is the fusion of Infernape and driftloom.
While Emporeon will have a mega evolution that makes him look like Gundam Barbatos Lupis Rex, Both Urshifu variants will have their own mega forms. Jet will have a mega form that resembles Ultra ego Vegeta with a design similar to Rasenmon from Digimon,while Etsuko will have a mega form that resembles mastered Ultra Instinct Goku and Marsmon from Digimon, both gaining a more humanoid appearance.
Just letting you guys know; now onto the chapter.

Dawn and I were walking along Route 203. As we walked, I managed to have Jet and Etsuko both learn thunder punch and shadow fist.
The reason is that the next gym is a ghost type, and most of their moves won't be any good. Meanwhile, Rolu could do some damage using its bite, reversal, and shadow ball.
As we traveled, I trained them all to master the techniques of the Instant movement and the Aura dash.
The group would train for a while until a young man approached me.
" Excuse me do you have a moment," asked the man.
" Sure what's up," I asked.
" I was wondering if you would like to obtain a Infernape-ite," asked the man.
' Infernapeite this man is selling Megatite stones!!!' I thought internally.
" Sure but, well, I'm short on cash," I said.
" Worry not my dear friend,all I ask is you promise to make it to the pokemon league challenge," he said.
" Sure I guess I can do that," I said.
" Then have this," he handed me a stone that looked like the color patterns of the earlier mentioned Pokemon.
" Sweet," I said.
The man somehow disappeared.
I watched as jet and etsuko both practiced their respective techniques.
Etsuko managed to move spontaneously and deliver a flying High front snap kick to the chin of Jet; Jet In response to the attack flared his aura and delivered a flying boosted Uppercut into her chin.
I then watched as both, Kusunagi and Naikido practiced similar methods during the time we had after eternia city Naikido had evolved into An Electebuzz.
I watched the two of them practice.
Naikido would battle Kusunagi and use the instant movement albeit with an electric flare to it causing it to look like he had moved with a yellow lightning flash like minato's hiraishin technique while Kusunagi moved fast using the Aura dash which looked like he was doing fox Mclouds fire up.
I watched as monmiji used a aura dash into a tackle.
Meanwhile Riolu who I named Rock and Lycanrock who I named Terry both began to get used to the new weights I had given them lycan rock had begun managed to enter the flow state in a brief period of time due to her being able to focus her mind easier now that I had helped her become more serine apparently lycanrock can enter a serine state of mind when in dark places so I blindfolded her and began to reach her how to enter said state of mind I began teaching her my personal style called Kajukenbo, which is a hybrid martial arts of karate, judo,Kenpo, and boxing its name is an abriviation of the first syllable of each Styles name.
As she had learned the flow state I began to teach her the instant movement meanwhile I had Rock begin to learn the boosted dash.
The results were amazing as they both had a mastery of them in under an hour.
We made our way through the forest of the route until we came upon a man in sunglasses and a straw hat.
" Hey kids can I join you I'm heading towards Hearthome city," he offered.
As we traveled, we learned the man's name was Miles Baltimore, he was the head of a martial arts dojo that taught both trainers and Pokemon; he was also a master of Chi control and He offered to teach us how to use it.
I had been secretly practicing the techniques in the scrolls I had; This was thanks to my system which not only acted as a breeding system and a translator; But also featured a battle mode a level system and a skill tree that was meant to help me learn skills, I could even learn TM moves which I did. I was able to learn the TM's Fire Punch, Fire Kick, Sky Uppercut, Thunder Punch, Mach Punch, and Mach Kick,
The System Had made sure my body could handle these.
As we traveled miles began to converse with us.
" So Leroy, your a martial artist, and you want to be the strongest trainer in the world eh?" Asked Miles.
" That's right," I answered him.
" And dawn here wants to be a pokémon master," asked Miles.
" Yes that is right," she said.
We arrived at Hearthome city where we found ourselves coming upon a battle between two trainers one trainer had a Poliwrath and the other had a Manectrick.
" Okay Manectrick use volt tackle, Poliwrath use Hydro punch," said the trainer.
The two clashed fist met head lightning met water and in the end of the exchange it appeared that Poliwrath had won.
" Shazam!" I said.
We entered the city and we decided to hand to the contest hall where we found The gym leader Fatina who was the leader of the Gym.
However her Gym was a bit special as one had to be skilled in math to challenge her.
" What is the squat root of 144," asked the computerized door.
" 12, because twelve x 12 is 100 & 44," I said answering.
" If a train leaves a station at 10 and arrives at the next station at 11:35 how many minutes had passed since it left," asked the door, " 95 minutes," I replied.
A few more math problems later and the final question was there.
What number is empty but infinite neither even nor odd and comes first and follows after,
" Zero, I answered before explaining, "it is empty yet put behind a number it becomes a ten two put behind becomes a hundred it is neither even or odd because it is nothing it is the first number on the chart and follows every tens of numbers,"
"You have answered Correctly, welcome inside young master," the door said the man.
Inside the Gym was the Gym leader Fatina.
I knew she used Ghost type Pokemon so I knew my team would have a hard time however thanks to the ones training under the Scroll of darkness they had obtained a Dark sub-type and even though ghost types were weak against Psychic and dark types that didn't make them untouchable in fact most Pokemon could harm them but to truly decimate them you needed to be either a Psychic type or a Farm type which was why half my team had a dark sub-type with their training and Riolu was already a Dark sub-type.
" Now let us begin~" sang Fatina like an opera singer.
'oh great, if she sings like that throughout our battle, Then I'm out,' I thought.
" Okay, Riolu I choose you." I said.
" I'll win this battle master," Riolu replied confidently
"Okay then let us begin, I choose you Gengar," sang Fatina.
' God-dammit!' I cursed internally.
" Okay Riolu, use ensure followed by rock smash," I said.
" Gengar use smokescreen and then follow up with scary face~!" Fatina sang.
Riolu attacked Gengar, and Gengar created a smokescreen, before he generated a huge illusion of a demonic face.
But Riolu wasn't scared he had been learning from the scroll of the waters and right whenever Gengar came from out of nowhere with a poison jab Riolu stepped right and landed a big hook to his jaw which glowed with a green flame.
' Reversal?' I thought, 'when did he learn that?'
Gengar fell to the ground out cold.
" Return Gengar~!" She sang again.
Then she sent out her next pokemon mismagias.
It floated around him.
" Come on, Leroy," cheered Dawn.
Mismagias came at Riolu with a will o' the whisp the black flames hit the little hound hard but he still stood then I noticed he was sweating and had a purple welt on his chest.
' shit he's been poisoned,' I swore internally.
" Enough Riolu return," I said calling him back to my side and healing him with a poison heal.
I sent out Kasumi, and to my surprise; The little Eevee began to glow, and it transformed into a new form; that being an Umbreon.
" How convenient is that?" I said.
I turned to Fatina.
" It's not against the rules that a Pokemon evolve before combat begins is it," I asked.
Fatina shook her head.
" Not at all," she said.
'well she can speak normally,' I thought internally.
" Okay kasumi use your bite attack," i said.
The newly evolved Umbreon held its head up and a wave of force hit the mismagias causing it to be blasted away before it came back but it flinched.
" Now Kasumi let's finish it with Dark Blitz and then shadow ball," I said.
Mismagias was blasted by the attack once again this time knocked out before Kasumi who was now an umbreon came running up to it and repeatedly stamped it in the face before using a rolling tail slap.
Mismagias was knocked out.
The final round had her call out a ghost type I hadn't expected her to have a dusknoir.
I knew this would be a tough battle so I planned on having Kasumi battle this opponent until it was weakened
"Kasumi use quick attack and feint attack followed up by dark pulse," I commanded her.
She did so and attacked the enemy moving fast and leaving a visual blur she distracted the enemy and then struck him with a left tail swipe before flipping mid air and blasting the dusknoir with a barrage of black beams.
After the attack the dusk noir had been critically wounded until it decided to use Shadow ball on the small black cat and to my surprise as was everyone else the small Pokemon still stood.
' Don't Tell Me my Kasumi has gotten high EV on HP,' I thought ironically the Eevee would have a boost in its Namesake.
Just then Kasumi began to heal itself.
"Okay kasumi finish it off with Throat chop!" I shouted.
The black cat like Pokemon slashed it's tail against the front of the dusk noir neck ending the battle then and there.
" The battle is over the winner of the gym battle is Leroy Jackson!" The official announced.
With my gym battle over it would be dawns turn the next day.
I pat both Riolu and Kasumi's heads.
" You two did great, and Riolu next time let me know when you get poisoned I can't let you die on me, your special to me all of you are my family," i said.
The small hound smiled and blushed.
" I will master," he said.
The next day dawn finally managed to solve the math problems and then she began her battle.
Dawn started out strong.
She managed to defeat both Gengar and mismagias with her prinplup, but dusknoir was to powerful for the 1st stage water type, then she used her ace Lucario.
" Lucario watch out for the enemy's shadow ball," she called out.
Dusknoir already powered up a shadow ball and attacked Lucario.
Lucario in return used his aura sphere and a dbz style beam struggle ensued before a bright explosion covered the stage them Lucario appeared from below the pokemon and kicked him into the air before he leaped up and landed four consecutive spinning crescent kicks and then an axe kick that grounded him before he came down with an elbow drop only for Dusknoir to get out of the way then dawn called out," Now Lucario Use Close Combat!"
Lucario then hammered the Dusknoir with a barrage of aura infused punches and kicks.
" Dusknoir use poison jab" shouted Fatina.
The pokemon attempted a miasma infused jab to the right side of the neck but Lucario parried it with its iron spike on its right wrist before smacking him in the face repeatedly left and right.
I swear I heard Riolu saying "Who's Your Daddy!" Everytime Lucario smacked him.
Before dawn finally called out the finishing blow.
" Now Riolu use Feint attack plus throat chop!" Shouted Dawn.
Dusk noir against all odds had managed to block the attack but was taken back by Lucario using a Drain punch to finish the battle especially on its own.
" The battle is over Dawn Habana of twin leaf town is the victor," the official announced.
The battle was over and dawn had won.
Now we both had the third gym badge.
After this we went to rest.
We left and Fatina smiled.
" That Leroy Jackson is cute," she said before looking in a mirror and with a bad Dracula impression she said " I Vant to make him mine," she said.
